Appearance: Many people find Cameron adorable. When you see him, you would never believe he's a grown adult. He has fair skin, and big blue eyes that reflect his child like enthusiasm. He has a round babyface that makes him seem younger than he is, along with a button nose, and a mouth that is often in a smile. He is short in stature, standing at exactly five feet tall. He is not embarrassed by his small size in the least, saying it adds to his appeal. He has a slim build, but he has toned muscles. Much to a lot of peoples surprise, he does in fact have abs underneath the clothes he wears. He has short blonde hair that curls a bit at the ends. He has no body or facial hair whatsoever. His earlobes are pierced so he can wear earrings.

Cam loves pink and cute things, and that extends to his choice of clothes as well. He enjoys floral patterns, stars, hearts, smiley faces, basically anything cute. He also enjoys wearing cute dresses from time to time, and doesn't think it's fair that only girls should wear them. His adoptive father never let him wear the kinds of clothes he wanted to wear, so now he takes advantage of his freedom. He currently wears a pink sleeveless top with a white vest over it. He also wears a white tie around his neck that has a light blue brooch attached to it. He wears a pair of wide pink trousers as bottoms. The trousers are decorated with light blue accents, including little stars on the pockets. They are also held up by a white belt that has a light blue buckle. On his feet are a pair of light blue boots. He accesorizes with pink star earrings in his earlobes. He also wears a pink cap on top of his head that is intentionally worn to the side. The front of the cap is also decorated with a light blue star, as well as a stripe around the visor.

As Dynamo, Cameron wears a pink full body suit. The suit has purple speed lines on it. He also wears purple elbow length gloves. He also wears a purple belt with a starburst as the buckle. Even though he doesn’t need to conceal his identity at this point, he still wears a purple hood over his head, and a pink visor over his eyes.

Powers: Super Speed: Cameron can move at very high speeds. This comes with corresponding agility, stamina, mental processing speed, and healing.

Cameron has to consume a lot of calories to maintain his powers. The good news, he can eat all the sweets he wants without gaining any weight!

Personality: Cameron is innocent, carefree, and seemingly always happy. He is a cheerful man who doesn't like to let bad things bother him. He always has a smile on his face even during the mort dire of situations, and is often in a good mood in general. He is an eternal optimist, and likes to see the good in every situation. He believes that if you focus on the positive, and ignore the bad, the bad stuff will just go away.

His optimism is most prevelant in his dealings with other people. He does his best to share his positivity with others, and tries his best to comfort other people who are sad. He likes to believe that everyone is ultimately good, and always gives people the benefit of the doubt. However, he can be quick to trust the wrong people because of his optimism. He rarely ever gets mad at others. Even if he does get mad, he gets over it very quickly. He openly expresses affection through touching in the form of hugs, holding hands, as well as stroking and grabbing shoulders.

He is easily exciteable and hyperactive. It is difficult to get him to sit still and focus on a single subject for too long before he gets bored and move on to the next thing. While he is able to think quick on his feet during intense situations. he often acts impulsively, and jumps to conclusions without thinking first. Even in conversations, he tends to go off on tangents. He is also quick to apologize for anything he regrets doing, even if he hasn't done anything wrong. His parents punished him harshly for any little mistake, so he is constantly concerned about displeasing others.

He is both a pop star and superhero in order to bring joy and happiness for others. He also enjoyed the attention and fame being a superhero brings. After he left the institute, he became an actor for the purposes of getting attention and fame. Cameron knows he is adorable, and he does use it to his advantage if he knows if it will benefit him somehow. He’ll use his cheery personality, and childish behaviors to manipulate others. He’ll play dumb, and act like he doesn’t understand the other person’s request, to avoid rejection, or just get out of situation he doesn’t like. He is also very good at acting, and knows how to say just the right things to get what he wants, or just to get attention when he feels lonely.

Cameron has a passion for cute and pretty things. Most of his possessions are pink, he has a collection of plush toys and fashion dolls, and has many other childish interests. So many people have a problem with an adult man liking such things, but Cam does not care. Due to his upbringing, he missed out on his childhood, so now he's making up for lost time. He loves every kind of sweets and desserts. Ultimately, Cameron not only wants to be happy himself, but also to make others happy.

Background: Cameron was born to Movie Star Luana Mason. She had an affair with another actor, and only kept the child for the publicity. For a while, Cameron was raised by nannies hired by his mother. As Luana got older, she became less relevant and lost out on roles to younger actresses. She turned her attention to her son. If she couldn’t be in the spotlight anymore, then she would make her son a star, and live the glamorous lifestyle of a celebrity through him.

So, when Cameron turned 5, he was put through all kinds of lessons. Singing lessons, dance lessons, acting lessons, and he was still homeschooled to get a normal education. Cameron didn’t understand what all this was for, but went along with it to please his mother, and he believed she had good intentions. Besides, Cameron did enjoy some of the lessons his mother put him in. He liked singing and dancing, and it was discovered that he had a beautiful singing voice.

When he was 12, Cameron discovered what all these lessons were for. He was entered into talent shows, and taken to various recording studios where he was made to sing and perform for people. He soon got himself a record deal. He soon launched to the top of the Pop Charts with his hit single “Love is Like a Gummy Bear.” All of a sudden, Cameron was a bona fide Pop Star, and his stage mom was his manager.

After this, Cameron’s life became much more hectic. He was recording songs, doing concerts, and all the things that Pop Stars do. His had a tight and brutal schedule. His mother loved it, and she lived a glamorous lifestyle on Cameron’s money. She also became much more strict with him. He would be punished for the slightest slip up (sometimes beaten.) Despite the harshness, Cameron found himself enjoying being a Pop Star. It gave him a sense of purpose. To bring joy into people’s lives. Cameron had a number of fans. On the days when things were difficult, he had to remind himself that he was making people happy. He also enjoyed all the fame and attention he got from being a Pop Star. Whenever he was paraded out in public, Cam was the one front in center, the center of attention. He was always willing to interact with fans and pose for pictures when his mother allowed it.

Things changed when he turned 18. While he loved being a Pop Star, he could see that his momager wasn’t a nice lady. He was spending his money, and frankly he wanted a little more freedom. So, he fired her. There was a lot of drama, and lawsuits involved, but Cameron came out ok in the end. He got a brand new manager who was actually a decent human being, and Cameron now had room to breathe a little.

To celebrate, Cameron put on a major concert. Everything was going well, but several things happened to make the concert end early. There was an explosion at the laboratory that was near the concert venue Cameron was performing. This caused a strange blue mist to spread all over the area. As everyone was trying to evacuate, Cameron was unfortunately struck by lightning, and had to be put in the hospital.

Months later, Cameron woke up from a coma and was released from the hospital. Fortunately for him he was able to resume his Pop Star career. He got a ton of publicity from the incident. He would soon came to discover that he had Super Speed abilities. At first, he tried to keep a secret identity and used the name Dynamo to become a Super Hero. He stopped robberies and other crimes. He soon discovered that being a Pop Star and a Superhero at the same was difficult, and he got busted.

However, instead of giving up the Superhero life, his manager encouraged him to continue. The whole world knows who he is, and they love him even more for it. His record sales went up. Now he operates as a celebrity Superhero openly and films his exploits for reality TV, and is still a world famous Pop Star.

Superhero name: He doesn’t have one at this point, as he hasn’t yet started his life as a crime fighter.

Appearance:

Standing tall at 6’2, Daniel has dark hair and eyes. He has an athletic build and prefers practicality over style when it comes to his clothes, often wearing sweaters, hoodies or just plain t-shirts along with a pair of jeans and comfortable boots. His only outstanding feature is the faded burn scars on his chest, neck and bottom left side of his face from where the majority of the chemical landed on him.

Power:

• Regeneration: His cells regenerate at an accelerated pace, meaning that as long as his heart continues to beat, he’ll be able to recover from nearly any injury given enough time. The length of time it takes for his injuries to heal tends to vary depending on the severity of the wound. A cut on his hand will be gone within a minute where if he breaks every bone in his body, was caught up in an explosion, or was ran over and dragged by a bus, it could take up to three days before he’s completely healed. Another effect of his regeneration that he hasn’t discovered yet, is that it slowed down his aging. He is not immortal, this just means that his life-expectancy increased by around 20-50 years.
• Wound transferal: He can manipulate the cells in living organisms – himself included – by transferring his own injuries to another living creature as well as the reverse where he transfers their injuries to himself.
• Transferal of hormones: He can also manipulate individual hormones – like adrenaline – transferring some of it from one person to another. He can also sap – or give – energie from another in this manner.
• Pain manipulation: He can also transfer pain, either absorbing the pain from someone else onto himself, or transferring his own pain to another.
• Daniel is now also immune to becoming ill and in a few years, I’m planning on him being able to cure serious diseases using his abilities.

(I figured that he’d just start out with Regeneration and Wound transferal and then figure out that he can do the rest in game as things progress?)

Limitations:

• His regeneration can’t fix death. He can recover from almost everything but a killing blow. Example: A bullet to the brain, having his heart ripped out or being decapitated are but a few things he should try to avoid.
• He is not a starfish, so he won’t be able to regrow limbs.
• His powers take both time and energy – with his energy levels directly affecting the time. As such he can only do so much before he needs to take a rest, otherwise he’ll start risking himself. (I figured that the amount that he can use his powers without becoming to tired can increase over the course of the rp? Like how exercising slowly increases your stamina?)
• His powers only work through skin contact.
• The closer a person is to death when he transfers their wounds to himself, the more dangerous it becomes for himself, depending on the severity of their condition, there is a chance that he could die.

Skills/Talents:

• He’s good with managing his finances and regularly helps his family out with their books.

Background/bio: Daniel James had an ordinary life. He had two average middle-class parents and two younger siblings. The only remotely interesting thing about his upbringing was when he skipped the fourth grade as well as the pranks he and his siblings would pull on each-other. Other than that, he kept his head down and his nose clean and worked hard – both for school as well as various part time jobs. When he was 17 he graduated Highschool with high marks, continuing that streak at university where along with his other studies, he got certified as a EMT. After college he spent a few years working as an EMT before he became a paramedic at 26.
It was when he had been working as a paramedic for a year that the accident happened. The team he was working with had responded to a massive fire at a private science-facility. A man with severe burn wounds had been wheeled into the ambulance – a canister clutched in a death grip in his hands. Unfortunately, he died before they reached the hospital, but not before pushing the canister into Daniel’s hands and whispering, “Don’t let him get this…”

After dropping the man’s body off, they were on route to their next call. While sitting in the back, Daniel took a moment to inspect the canister. Curiosity got the better of him, and since there weren’t any warning labels on it, he cautiously unscrewed the top in order to peer inside. As fate would have it though, it was at that moment that the ambulance collided with another vehicle and was sent careening off the road. The impact causing Daniel to jerk and the contents of the canister to spill on him.

The following events were a blur. Daniel can only recall blinking up at the night sky and the ambulance going up in flames next to him all while a burning pain spreading across his body like a fire.

When he later woke up in the hospital, he discovered that there wasn’t a single mark on him – not even any childhood scars – just an already fading scar from where the unknown chemical hit him. He didn’t fully realise the implications of what happened until a few days later when he accidentally cut himself while cooking and the wound closed right before his eyes. A few weeks later, he was visiting his younger sister when his niece had an accident resulting in a long bleeding gash in her arm that he knew would require several stitches.

While his sister was panicking and looking for the car keys, he took his sobbing niece into the bathroom to clean the wound and to staunch the bleeding. While tending her, he noticed that the cut on her arm was disappearing until only a long thin scratch remained and even that would have vanished had he not pulled his hands back in shock. At the same time he noticed a pain in his own arm along with a wetness on the inside of his sleeve. Keeping his composure, he finished tending to his niece’s injury before sending her off once she calmed down and then closed the bathroom door behind her. Frantically pulling off his jacket and rolling up his sleeves, he noticed that there was a deep cut on his arm – albeit an already healing one – on exactly the same place as on his niece’s.

From there the floodgates had been opened and while he might have been content to pretend that the cut on his hand was a figment of his imagination, there was no denying this. He started actively experimenting as much as he could, tentatively testing his own limits. His abilities have become an unbelievable advantage for his job, allowing him to better stabilise people and to allow many to actually arrive at the hospital alive when they previously wouldn’t have survived that long.

Sometimes he passes a comic book store, or hears about a hero’s exploits on the news, and he wonders whether he could be doing more with his abilities as well, but up until now nothing more has come from those thoughts than a few moments of idle pondering. Will that change?

Appearance:
Kaede is only 1.55 metres tall, and this trait is shared by Miracle Maple. His build is not particularly bulky, and he is definitely a lightweight.

Miracle Maple’s hairdo, hair colour and eye colour will change based on the 4 (or rather 6) stances, but overall, she much like Kaede does not have much of a build.

Power:
Magical Girl Transformation - Can transform into magical girl using special trinkets, the 'Maple Stamps' as he calls it, loading them onto a device he calls the 'Maple Driver'. Their proper names are the Trinity Runes and the Trinity Heart.
Stance Change - The ability to switch between four forms. These forms are the Arcane Stance, the Lightning Stance, the Inferno Stance & the Tundra Stance.
In all forms, Maple is capable of levitation, and can sprout wings that correspond to the respective element, and she is vast in strength and speed compared to an average fully-grown peak human, no matter the form.

Arcane Stance - In this stance, Maple uses but her fists for combat, and is able to use raw power with no particular elemental properties or secondary effect. It is considered the most ‘balanced’, not particularly fast, strong or defensive.

Lightning Stance - In this stance, Maple has the power of lightning and wields the Mjolnir, a heavy hammer with great force. While generally sluggish, lightning energy can be channeled into this hammer as it is used like a witch’s broom, boosting speed for short bursts. This property can be used to accelerate attacks as well.

Inferno Stance - In this stance, Maple brandishes a powerful sword known as Kagutsuchi, capable of igniting itself, while she gains the ability of flames. I would say that this sword can cut through anything with sheer heat and edge, but there will always be a shield that claims to be unbreakable.

Tundra Stance - In this stance, Maple wields the lance known as Skadi, which veils itself in the power of ice and can flash-freeze opponents. Among the forms, this is the fastest.

Creator of Light - A secret stance that can only be unlocked through certain conditions, and is said to have the thundering endurance of the Lightning Stance, the power of the Inferno Stance & the blitzing speed of the Tundra Stance. In addition to using all three types of abilities, it can merge them by twos or merge them all into a single pure energy attack, as if it were - no, it is - light. It can only be achieved through special conditions, and based on how a story is to be told, it is likely that Avatar of Darkness needs to be achieved first and broken out of. She uses all three weapons in this form, triple-wielding via hands and teeth, and they can be merged into a single weapon.

Avatar of Darkness - This form is achieved by either corruption from an external force or falling into a great despair. Or whatever the plot demands. Yet another secret stance similar to Creator of Light, except it obviously uses the power of darkness instead. In this form, she uses the Scythe known as Thanatos, which controls darkness as well as ‘dark’ versions of each element. While dark fire still burns, dark ice still freezes and dark lightning still electrocutes, they do not share the weaknesses of base elements, but have the weaknesses of darkness instead. This form has such a different personality, you might just think it is alive… WINK WINK.

Limitations:
Transformation Limit - Instead of using something like posts or an observable gague to determine this, this will run out whenever convenient (or inconvenient). In-story, it is justified as ‘using too much power for an amount of time’ or ‘running on fumes for too long’. The inconsistency is intentional. This can be circumvented by the power of strong emotions, especially willpower, but even those have their limits.
Lack of Proper Training - While many heroes and villains actually have training prior to the start of the RP, Kaede/Maple lacks any sort of that. It's all up to power, enhanced reflexes, enhanced senses, resourcefulness and quick thinking.

Background/bio:
Kaede was an ordinary kid who always wanted to be a hero. Granted, he was always the rowdy type at school, getting into fights in an attempt to protect constantly-bullied students, and being bullied himself. One day, he met a little creature that was being hunted down by the Magic Keeper’s Circle. This creature introduced itself as Trinity, and while he himself could not fend the Magic Keeper’s Circle off, he could lend his vast power to someone else for them to tap into. Kaede, in a rush, accepted this offer and decided to fend off the Magic Keeper’s Circle, but in his shock, he found that by doing so, he had turned into a girl!

A magical girl!

He always wanted to be a hero, but not like this.

And so, this was his life now.

Obviously, he walloped their asses but they swore to be back. In a world of heroes and villains, they were not the only threats.
