Eyyyy, it's up! The cycle starts anew. Faetalis can be difficult as hell to write at times. She's supposed to be one part conceited, two parts charming, and one part in the moment, which is not always conducive to an argument. But, the long and short of it is, Faetalis showing off the Realty-bending Power of her Crafting, as she crafted, literally, her IRL self as a onesie to wear in order to demonstrate her point of becoming Human, while staying a Monster in her new world order.

Because, Man is the real Monster.

Now, whether that point got across is subjective to the reader, and the character, but hey, I think I did okay, lol *toots own horn*

Depending on what kind of character you would like to play as, yes, room may open up in the future. It's still in the development stage, but there is a system in place to accept newcomers to the Factory. After all, Factory must expand, Factory must grow.

So is there a current roster for positions within the factory? I kinda had a slime character similar to the cockroach dude in the anime, maybe a summoner or auch

In the current state of Infactorium, it's been completely scraped for raw materials and reconstructed into a specialized Dungeon for the current cast. As such, there is no open space in the Main Factory, because they isn't one, so you would be one of the Satellite Factories that broke off and scattered around when the Guild Hall was transferred from YGGDRASIL into the New World.

As far as character is concerned, what your race, build, and overall purpose of your Factory can overlap with another Overseers. In-narrative, Infactorium was tight knit and prone to constant collaboration, so there was tons of overlap.

If you really want to avoid overlap, you'll be better served by hitting up the CHAR tab, and diving into the cast to find yourself a niche.

Slime race is perfectly acceptable. Faetalis's Overseer is a Nanite Slime, after all. She just doesn't have a CS, so you don't actually know her build.

So, if ya wanna be a Slime race, go for it.

Something I also noticed is that there's no service type people, your butlers and such so what if there qasa facility that brain washed people by implanting slimes in them and made them loyal servants/ soldier

Most factories have their own servants, and even those who don't tend to borrow from other factories. For example, a lot of people use my Cyber Skeletons, since their main purpose is to basically be built en masses and used by any of the guild Overseers as they see fit.

Lucius pretty much spelled it out. But, yes, Infactorium is a factory complex that is designed to house sixty individual factories (on paper) and each Factory is a self-contained Dominion of its creator, such as Faetalis's Factory is a storefront of a haberdashery that opens up to a warehouse of skinsuit trophies that are other player who bet their character build, and she won in GvGs, allowing her to craft their Avatars and Gear for her own uses with her Overseer.

Most Factories operate much the same, and don't generate much in the way of waste, and what little waste they do generate is recycled into their Factories, like Tungsten and Cormac can recycle scrap metal for slag, Mae and Gamma can recycle scrap food into leftover, or they go to Levia and into her Slime Hatcheries.

At it's prime, this was pretty much how it went. Cyberskeletons carrying unusable waste to Levia, and Factories working in their "boxes".

That isn't to say, you couldn't go with your ideas, but the slime infection idea does tread on Gamma's whole premise, and devalue it a bit, since she puts herself as mortal risk to do what your slimes would do for free.

Plus, it does go against Faetalis's Code of Conduit, which is to avoid inciting PvP against the Guild without the express consent of the Raid Council, to just go around mind-ganking people, as an Overseer in her Guild.

My only suggestions would be slimes meant to reconnaissance and territory claim. Faetalis is a 4X Manic, so she'll be expanding her claims. You could be slimes that assist in clear debris, helping Cyberskeletons ferry items, helping Worker Ants dig, and general being a Support Factory.

Could try for more specialized servant types? Like in general. For example while Cyber Skeletons are useful if you need to shoot things, craft things, or just need someone with a pair of hands, they're not great shooters or crafters. Could have slimes who's purposes is to provide more specialized minions to suit more esoteric needs that aren't explicitly covered by existing minions. For example, fire-proof minions to deal with extreme heat areas.

Their factory function would basically be built around tinkering with minions. While every factory can create their own, your factory is where the original creators would build and test out new minions before ported them to their respective factories for production. In the new world, this could possibly be expanded to take new denizens and see what abilities they have could be adapted into minions or even the Overseers themselves.
