Yes that's right folks, you heard me correctly! I am accepting FREE character headers! I am incredibly skilled in Adobe Premiere and have really gotten a knack for making these things!

Now, you're probably wondering: "What exactly is the catch here? Why are these 100% free?"

Well, the answer is quiet simple, friend! I am incredibly bored and need work! And what better way than putting my labor on the table while you save yourself the hassle and money of buying a fancy header of your choosing! I also have a Google Slide full of these suckers and wish to add to my collection, plus it gives me more stuff to show off my digital design passion! Of course, there are some rules, but I needed to catch your attention first.

Here are the Rules:

#1. No NSFW. No exceptions. Even if it's tasteful or integral to your character, I better not see any bosoms or crotches!
#2. ALL submissions must be posted to this forum. If I get a DM, I will ask you to move it to this forum, if it doesn't happen, y'aint getting a header.
#3. I take requests for ALL fandoms and ideas. Even if I'm completely unfamiliar, I'm sure there's a particular theme or image you're looking for and I will try my best to match it!
#4. Submissions must have the following: The characters full name, the characters art work or face claim (has to be either one of these, I'm not drawing OCs), what you desire to be in the background (can be as simple as an aesthetic, as complicated as a description, or even an image if you want something specific) and the style of font you want (Ex. DOOM font, Fancy font, Scribble font)
#5. Submissions will be taken in order of posting. If someone posted before you and had been accepted before you, they get their commission done first.
#6. I will be working on these in requests of 5! Each person is allowed 2 requested characters, and I will tackle them to 5! Listed below are my current commissions:

All of them were created with love by me, and the characters "Minato Yasuda", "The Marine", and "Rarity" were submissions from another user who requested to them prior to this being posted!

Notes: Have fun with this! Since you're doing this for free, you can do pretty much whatever you'd like. My only real request is that you stick to using character images from The Legend of Vox Machina animated series wherever possible.

Thanks so much for the character header! I love how you designed it! The placement ratios are perfect and I love the color scheme and background. The bold and striking font really brings out Balthazar's role as a mob boss.

If I could suggest some small changes:

* I didn't mention it before, but a titular point for Balthazar is his mob boss hat. I like how we can see his body build in the header, though I think I'd rather have more his hat show as it's mobster-like. I played around with cropping in MS PowerPoint (please don't laugh) and perhaps the scale for the image can be kept the same, but instead of having his suit show the coat buttons, we align the bottom of the dark V part to the bottom border of the header? That way, more of his hat and the feather can show. I'm not sure if the dark colour of his hat will accidentally blend in with the background though.

* Can Balthazar's name be made more orange? As in the shading? If we take the letter K as a measurement point, perhaps orangeness of the top part of the V in the K can be lowered down to the apex of the ^ part in the K. I'm sorry if this is confusing. Please let me know if I can clarify.

* The cityscape - I'm not sure how well the colours will match each other, though instead of white, can it be made more subtle, as in grey, dark blue or something like that? I'm aiming for Balthazar to be working amongst the city's shadows. By the way, is this a particular RL city or just a sketch? If it's RL, can I know the location so that I can see if it's possible to work into his backstory?

I hope I'm not being too fussy - if it's too much, I'll just go for the name colour change.

Hey! A few things before I was completely able to get back to you: No, none of these are an issue, however, what is is whether or not you like the changes I made. So, #1: Cropping Balthazar was an easy feat and readjusting his placement was no issue!

#2: So, sometimes Photoshop (I keep saying premiere as a mistake, my fault for being a video editor too) has issues adjusting colors to specific points and that was just riiiight at the spot where it would either readjust to where it was before or so low the white is unseeable... So with that said, I opted for a color shading that produced a similar effect, but ultimately removed white from the equation altogether. If you'd prefer the white after seeing the change I made, let me know, and I'll bring it back.

And finally #3: The cityscape I selected is, unfortunately, just a generic city decal I borrowed, so there is no specifics on where that is. Sorry. Now, for the editting I tried my best to darken it, but for some reason, changing it from white to black produced a sort of... White-ish outline. This may be undesired, and I have yet to find a way around this (Adjusting individual pixels would prove difficult) so I have left you the option of removing the city entirely if desired, this was also as dark as I could make it w/out completely throwing off the color scheme or making it near invisible.

I think I'll forgo the cityscape. The embossed/white outline look of the grey one is intruiging - and yet also distracting as it pops out and pulls attention away from the mame and pic. I find myself looking at the cityscape too much. And at a certain point, I can also imagine them as a bunch of graveyard headstones due to the beveled look. That said, I have been told I have an overactive imagination. :p
