Hello! My name is Arch (she/her, 21+, BST). I have around 10 years of roleplay experience so I’m fairly well acquainted with the concept. All roleplays will be carried out over PM.
Character sheets will be written on demand for the plots below. This is because I like to tailor them specifically to the plot. I’m happy to roleplay as species other than human (anthros etc) but not animals.
OTHER POSSIBLE SETTINGS/PLOTS
Please comment here or send me a PM if you’re interested. Feel free to ask questions or suggest plots- I’m down for pretty much everything within reason.
Thank you for reading!
I consider myself semi-literate to literate (2-3+ long paragraphs per response) and I would prefer to roleplay with a partner who can match my post length. If you’re extremely busy/a little burnt out please let me know and we can work something out! Again, I’m flexible with the post length (it’s more of a preference). I will only roleplay with partners who are over 18, with a preference on those who are 21+. As is the nature of mature high fantasy and historical settings, there will be potentially triggering content. This includes (but is not limited to): death, gore, and sexual themes. These will all feature at some point. I’m a big fan of angst and romance so it would help if you were too! Romance is pretty much standard in all my roleplays.
As the title suggests I’m currently looking for a 1x1 roleplay. I’m happy to include multiple OCs. I typically play female characters in a MxF relationship but I’m more than happy to play a male if we double up our characters. I enjoy character development and I’m interested in delving deep into our OCs lore and backgrounds, and their future adventures. I would be interested in writing smut (a way of exploring our muses' relationship as adults) but this should be kept to a minimum and written in PMs. Given the plot driven nature of this RP, I mean 95/5 towards story, if that. I'm not interested in writing a canon character as a permanent roles for OC fandom roleplays but I will RP them as part of the plot/to drive the plot. If you can handle the extra workload and fancy writing a canon character/bringing them along on the adventure, that's fine!
I am, however, happy to roleplay certain canon characters in a canon-driven roleplay. I have a lot of experience writing Old Hunter Gehrman aka when he was younger (Bloodborne), and don’t mind writing (and shipping) him alongside original or canon characters. Kudos for Maria. I have also written other canon Souls characters so please ask if you are interested.

OTHER POSSIBLE SETTINGS/PLOTS
* If the title is like this it means I already have threads related to that plot going on.
Victorian (Supernatural)
Pretty generic vampire/werewolf hunters plot. Our characters are childhood companions, growing up together, attending university and ultimately joining a hunter’s guild alongside each other. Unfortunately, one of our characters is infected with the vampiric/werewolf virus. The other must decide whether they wish to keep their friend alive/conceal their true nature despite it going their principles or even join them in their curse.
Victorian (Non-Supernatural)
Our characters are childhood companions who grew up together. Unfortunately, one of our characters is the servant of the others’ noble family and they are denied access to each other after the age of 16. The servant resigns and disappears for years, soon returning as a rich and wealthy individual. The noble was disowned by their family after they went against their rules and left to find their childhood companion. Many years later, our characters meet once again and rekindle their relationship as equals (sort of exploring this dynamic in a Victorian setting).
Post-Apocalyptic*
Idea 1: Our characters survived a catastrophic world event. This could be Fallout in nature, the land could have been destroyed by war/aliens/demons. This would be more ‘slice-of-life’, our characters travelling around and exploring a destroyed world.
Idea 2: Just your traditional zombie plot, leaning more towards a The Last Of Us-esque setting.
Western/Steampunk**
All are set in the 1800s.
Idea 1: I’ve not thought as hard about this one but a generic Midwestern setting, your traditional steampunk weapons/technology and... dinosaurs (I played a game when I was younger that had it all- dinos, guns, cowboys and I think about it every now and again). They’re trained companions, used by benevolent cowboys, strict sheriffs and villains alike. However, there are also wild dinosaurs. That’s where a big part of the adventure comes in but rival gangs are the primary danger. A pretty wild concept, but interesting.
Idea 2: Just your generic cowboy plot. Think Red Dead Redemption: train robberies, heists, travelling miles and miles with the gang.
Idea 3: Your character comes across a small town in the middle of the Midwest. It has an odd vibe to it with unusual residents that avoid sauntering too far into the wastelands at night. You soon discover that there is more to this place than meets the idea: it’s residents are supernatural creatures who have waged a war against demons and other disgusting abominations that roam the desert. My character is a werewolf that lives on the outskirts of the town, living alone by choice. My other character can be decided depending on whether we double up.
Historical/Medieval/Fantasy****
Idea 1: Set in a typical high fantasy land. Our characters hail from a village high in the mountains. Dragons plague these lands but our characters have the ability to tame them. They are either given an egg at birth and grow up alongside the dragon, or they are sent to tame a wild dragon themselves at the age of 14 (our characters are adults so already have one).****
Idea 2: Our characters are dragonkin meaning that they are either shapeshifters (humans that can transform into dragons) or anthropomorphic dragons. There are other animalistic races in this land: deer, wolves etc. We can work out more details in PMs.*****
Modern/Slice of Life *
Idea 1: Our characters were childhood friends who lost contact. They move house to a new neighbourhood and encounter each other again, rekindling their relationship (romance-driven).
Idea 2 (Supernatural theme)*****: Our characters live in a big city where supernatural beings/creatures are totally normal. Angels, demons, shapeshifters, vampires, werewolves and more roam the streets. We can either play as supernatural beings or humans (depending on the dynamic).***
Idea 3: Our characters are supernatural beings trying to live a normal life in a city made for humans, not them. Variation: one of our characters is human and has to help their supernatural companion adapt.
