Srisza was, as almost all Lizardfolk are, born amongst his kin in a secluded, swampy tribeland. He grew quickly, as his kind do. Along with his physical growth, grew the reverance his tribespeople had for him. See, Srisza was special. Not only did he possess a unique bodily variance that drew attention to him in the form of his blackened hide, he also grew very well into his role as a tribal warrior. Younglings that possessed the prowess that Srisza displayed from such a young age very often became one of the heads of the tribe. And so it seemed that was his destiny, even from youth.
Except, it wasn't.
Srisza was outgrown. Alongside him grew another young tribesman, and at every milestone the two of them clashed - and at most milestones, Srisza was bested. Eventually, the two grew into their tribal roles - and Srisza was deemed, simply, second-best. This was, to Srisza, unacceptable. Even if it seemed to be destiny, even if it seemed he could never beat his childhood rival, he couldn't admit defeat. He a hunger. He needed to be strong. He didn't know why he needed or wanted it so badly - whether it was for himself or for others - but he wanted it nonetheless. And this led him to abandon his tribe.
From that day forward, he sought only to strengthen himself - even if it was by unconventional means. Reading was one of such means. Through literature and a self-bestowed education, he learned many things that he never would have among his tribespeople. This led him to grow into a sight for some - a relatively well-read Lizardfolk.
Somewhere along the journey of his make-shift education, Srisza found.. religion, in a way. His searches found him stumbling upon the works of priests and clergymen who mentioned and revered one individual monichered "Godius". While Godius was a being of apparent benevolence, valuing the principles of light and humanity - which Srisza viewed mostly neutrally - he was also the God of War, and hence, strength. With such a discovery, Srisza wasted no time in learning all he could about this "Godius" - which led him on an enlightening path. Over time, Srisza grew to revere Godius as well, but not because of what he was - that being a God - but because of who he was.
This path led Srisza to become who he is today. A reverer of strength and warrior-philosopher, of sorts, beholden to the graces of Godius.

Alrighty, here's da boi! I don't think I'm missing anything but if it seems I am, or if I somehow made an incorrect assumption about Godius, let me know!

Ysmengarde 'Skadi'

She was still young when her future was determined for her. Skadi was not particularly clever nor particularly better than her fellow Aasimar, but from some of the earliest memories of her youth her grandmother told her that she was ‘chosen’.
She was chosen for the pact of the Mistborn. A pact of Water & Sky.
What exactly that entailed Skadi did not know, but the consequences of this particular honour became all too clear.
There would be no frolicking with boys, at all times was she to be chaperoned and where others were given the chance to play she was prepared for the journey to come.
Her Grandmother told her that she had to remain chaste, unsullied. For she was already promised to another.
Who this other was, the old lady refused to tell. She only stated that he would send them an engagement gift if the pact was to continue and that she was to receive this as a first bridal gift and in return they would have to send something similar back.
She still had mixed feelings when her grandmother cut off one of her prettiest locks of hair.
The gift she had received it been a curious thing though. A necklace carrying an orb filled with strange water. It glowed a strange blue when the light hit it just right.
Thus she spend her days preparing and wondering about this mysterious husband to be.
The day she turned 21 was the day she left all she had known behind with only a riddle as guidance.
“He’ll meet you at the line where the snow’s melt roars.”
Thus she descended the mountain, leaving her family and friends behind to be wed off to some stranger. Regardless of how she felt about it, she knew this alliance was an important thing to accomplish, for both parties involved.
It was therefore all the more peculiar when after a month of lingering at the pool at the base of the Mountain, he still had not shown himself.
He was supposed to meet her as he would be able to recognise her through her bridal gift.
Yet days passed and nothing happened.
Skadi kept herself alive by her hunting skills, but when after 3 weeks there still had been no sign of him, she decided to go and try to find him instead.
She thought it unfathomable that he would first agree upon the pact, but then later not show up. So something must have happened to prevent him from coming to her.
That or she just got spurned by a complete stranger.
Either way she was owed an explanation.
And so she set out in search for answers.

Kindroth was born to a family of powerful wizards and nobles, owning an expansive yet quaint plot of land for generations. While their employees worked the land, the Jozana family would practice their magics and enjoy the decadence of the status. A small twang in the prestigious house's status came with the birth of Kindroth who didn't take to magic as well as his parents or siblings.
Kindroth did the bare minimum amount of magic practice to appease his family but his heart was devoted to the art of martial combat. In his free time he would train with the land's guards and keeping them company on their shifts, pretending to be helping to keep watch. To Kindroth's parents credit, they eventually stopped trying to force their traditions on him. This lack of pressure let Kindroth find his own route through magic, learning a couple of parlour trick spells but more importantly pursuing magic means of enhancing his combat training.
Things were good for Kindroth until some societal pressure began to be exerted on his family. Kindroth not fitting the mold was a blemish on his family's name, one of which Kindroth was becoming more and more aware of until finally deciding to do something about it. Coming to his parents with the idea, Kindroth proposed the idea of a self-imposed exile; letting the sheltered elf test his mettle, see the world and hopefully bring honour to his family's name in his own way. His parents and siblings were all worried about their youngest sibling but relented, giving Kindroth their blessing.
Now Kindroth travels the land, looking for a means to leave his mark on history and bring honour back to his family's name.
