[Name]: Franklin Stoney
[Age]: 30
[Profession]: Veterinarian
[Top 2 personality traits]: A mild mannered and soft-spoken individual; generally quite shy.
[Biggest Fear]: Severely Claustrophobic
[Three items you have with you (Other than clothing-either profession based or related to your reason for being in Silent Hill)]: His wallet with a worn and faded family picture within, Smart Phone, First Aid Kit
[Bonds]: Eris C. Stoney (A woman with Mediterranean heritage that was his Highschool sweetheart and later on his wife), Randall W. Dash (An extroverted Asian-American man that has been best friends with Franklin since he adopted him to his friend group back in Middle School.) Uncle Tom Stoney (The one responsible for saving Franklin. A tall but rotund man that worked overseas as a civil engineer.)
[Character Flaws (may be self-perceived)]: Low self-confidence causes him to doubt his decisions and regularly berate himself for mistakes; even insignificant ones. He has terminal insomnia and usually wakes up earlier than needed but is incapable of going back to sleep.
[How and why did your character get to Silent Hill]: Franklin, after having a discussion turn into a heated argument with Eris, drives off in an unusual anger from their suburban home in Brahms. A couple hours into the drive, he arrives to an observation deck overlooking Toluca Lake and it's towns. Despite having no business in the area, an unknown force drew him closer and closer to the town of Silent Hill.
[Bio]: Most folk would pass by Franklin and consider him to be one of the dime a dozen nobodies they've seen countless times in their life. But he's had one helluva fiasco of an excuse of a childhood. How could they? To them he was just another random nobody they'll likely never see again.
Franklin was born as the only child of Marcus Stoney, a renowned and skilled doctor, and Alexis Stoney, a frail but adventurous and nature loving woman. For a good majority of his childhood it was relatively normal, but when he was 8 years old his mother got sick with an incurable disease. It became his father's obsession to try save his wife at any cost. In this dark time, Franklin's only solace was his pets. No matter how good a doctor his father was, he was still human and failed to save his wife, leading him to alcohol abuse and to resent young Franklin.
Franklin didn't understand why it was his fault. Just that it was. His father yelled at him daily, berated him for every little mistake the boy made. If he spoke up against his father or tried to fight back, he'd be beaten and locked into a musty closet for the rest of the day. Killing his pets, and sometimes making the boy kill them himself whenever his father 'felt' like he deserved more punishment after being locked in the closet. Swearing that if Franklin ever tried to tell the police or his other relatives, he'd lock him in the closet and throw away the key. This happened for two more years until his father made a mistake.
His uncle Tom recently came back from working abroad and made an impromptu visit to his brother and nephew. His father had passed out from the night's drinking and uncle Tom, being family and all, let himself in. Uncle Tom found Franklin in the closet and called the cops on his brother...no...whatever monster that was pretending to be his brother. Ten minutes later, his father was arrested and the nightmare was over. Uncle Tom adopted him and moved far away from his old home. To Brahms where he could begin again.
But the suffering never stopped. His shy and meek personality caused him to become the prime target for bullying. But another righteous soul saved him. Randall W. Dash. School life became unbelievably bearable with Randy around. He was Franklin's rock in school. Even helped him get together with Eris in the later years. Got a degree and everything for him to have a normal adult life. Things were going well.
Then his father died and Eris and him got into an argument weather or not they should attend the funeral service and if he was allowed to be buried alongside his wife.
[Physical description (Can be a picture if you wish)]:
Standing at a slightly above average 5'8, Franklin is not an individual that stands out in a crowd. Not that he wants to anyway. He wears a simple green windbreaker over his usual sleeping attire; a simple white t-shirt with grey jogging pants and a pair of slippers that resemble bass.

Name: Austin Adams
Age: 21
Profession: College Student, Cashier, Small-Town Actor
Top 2 personality traits: Always one to persevere, no matter the circumstances ; Fails to plan ahead, which can often lead him to trouble.
Biggest Fear: Thalassophobia (Fear of water, primarily deep or murky water)
Three items you have with you: Smartphone, digital camera (alongside a strap), metal hip flask full of clean water
Bonds: Jonathan Clarke (Classmate, friends since elementary school), Lizzie Loomis (Classmate, friends since elementary school), Amanda Adams (Mother)
Character Flaws (may be self-perceived): Austin is quite stubborn, and while this can be a valuable trait to have, it also comes with its fair share of drawbacks. It isn't uncommon for Austin to fail, only to throw himself at the problem once more at the first opportunity. he fails to learn his lesson, at least without someone to persuade him to move on. Austin does these things because he feels the need to surmount his problems, to prove to himself and others that he can overcome anything, even if he's way out of his depth.
How and why did your character get to Silent Hill: Austin is a film student, taking photography classes on the side. For this class, he needs to take photos for various projects. When an assignment calls for photos of a local landmark, most students merely found an old statue or sign to take a photo of. However, pressured by the others in his group, and not believing in the horrors of the town, Austin marches down to Silent Hill, slipping past the fence. The town wasn't far from his own, and his group offered to drive him to the town. Due to the circumstances, they dropped him off a mile away, promising to be back for him... in the morning. Despite his protests, they drove away, laughing. With a sigh, Austin began his walk to Silent Hill.
Bio: Austin had a relatively bland childhood. He was raised by his single mother, his father having left before he was born. Though she had to work quite a bit, his mother had a great deal of financial aid, meaning that life was fairly smooth. Austin was never a social butterfly, only having a small group of close-knit friends, though was content with what he had. During high school, Austin joined the drama club, falling in love with theatre along the way.
As a budding actor, Austin got quite a few major parts in his high school productions. He was charismatic, at least on stage, and enjoyed the entire process. Auditions, rehearsals, and finally, the show... like clockwork, and he loved it. Eventually, he left his high school days behind, going on to pursue a college education, with local acting gigs on the side. Though he hasn't been in anything bigger than shows at his local community center, he enjoys this line of work.
College is going well for Austin. He does above average in his classes, those being general studies and photography, and actually quite enjoys them. His photography group, while enjoyable most of the time, often use him for their own gain, something that lead to Austin's arrival in Silent Hill. While Austin notices their treatment of him, he never tries to speak up, hoping to gain their respect.

Insanity Score: TBA
Name: Kaitlyn Finch
Age: 19
Profession: None, for now.
Top 2 personality traits: A normally hotblooded and adventurous soul, who claims not to fear anything.
Biggest Fear: Fear of Fire
Three items you have with you (Other than clothing-either profession based or related to your reason for being in Silent Hill): Uncle Tony's Letter, a lumberjack axe, and some trail mix
Bonds: Uncle Tony(Kaitlyn's uncle who, despite grieving his wife's death, always put on a brave face for Kaitlyn and encouraged her to keep trying, no matter what); Abigail and Tony Finch(Dead.)
Character Flaws (may be self-percieved): Reckless, Cocky, and Short Tempered. Deeply loyal to her uncle, and would be absolutely devastated if something happened to him.
How and why did your character get to Silent Hill: One evening, Kaitlyn came into her and Uncle Tony's home after a long day of chopping wood, and her uncle was nowhere to be found. All she could find was a letter, telling Kaitlyn that he was going over to Silent Hill in order to find his wife. Many alarms bells rang in Kaitlyn's head when she read this, and an hour later, she ran into Silent Hill herself in order to find Uncle Tony, not knowing the horrors that lied within the ghost town.
Bio: Kaitlyn used to live a normal childhood with her parents, and would've continued living a normal childhood if a fire hadn't burned her house down and killed both of her parents. The cause of the fire was unknown, and little Kaitlyn thankfully got out alive, but the fire had also deeply scarred her both physically and emotionally, and Kaitlyn was never the same after that.
It was Uncle Tony who took her in, and, after driving Kaitlyn to his lakeside home that was somewhat close to Silent Hill, Uncle Tony started teaching his niece all about living out in the wilderness, first aid, and generally survival. The two of them grew very close, but the loss of his wife still took its toll on Uncle Tony regardless, and sometimes, he sat on his patio and stared in the direction of Silent Hill, seeming to be contemplating something...
Physical description (Can be a picture if you wish): Blond hair, blue eyes, and a tall and muscular stature. Kaitlyn is still shorter than older adults, but is still taller than other 19 year olds. Usually wears corduroy and plaid, and jeans and boots. Has mostly healed burn scars over her arms and face.

Hey! I saw your group goal size was 4 and that you've reached that, but I figured I'd chance it and submit a character sheet just in case you were accepting one more!Name:
Jane Wilder
Age:
24
Profession:
Software Developer
Top 2 personality traits:
Jane is very quick to call the shots in any given situation, never one to simply idle around and wait for someone else to make the decisions. However, she is also very quick to anger, especially if she's without a drink.
Biggest Fear:
Loss of control - be that through bondage, tight spaces, authority, it doesn't matter; any loss of control is terrifying to her.
Three items you have with you:
A swiss army knife that she keeps on her at all times. Flask filled with what she jokingly refers to as her medicine; one quick sniff would reveal that 'medicine' to be vodka. A stained, badly kept photo of her as a child on her fathers laugh, smiling wide - interestingly, her father's face has been scratched beyond recognition, although Jane would swear she never caused the damage.
Bonds:
Her father, Ben Wilder - although Jane doesn't remember much about her father, as he died when she was young, she remembers loving him deeply. He was the reason she became a software developer, and if she can't help but taste bile every time she thinks too much of him, or feel her chest tighten any time someone mentions his name, well, that was nothing vodka couldn't soften the edges of.
Her mother, Laura Byrne. Although overprotective to the point of suffocation, Jane always knew her mother loved her, even when that love became stifling after leaving her husband. Once Jane moved out, they continued to speak every day, although she can't help but to feel her mother had been hiding something from her her entire life.
Character Flaws:
Jane would not perceive her relationship with alcohol as any sort of character flaw. If anything, she prided herself on being the life of the party, always willing to have a good time. Her dependence cannot be denied, however, and this comes with its own set of problems. Beyond this, she is quick to anger and very guarded, letting very few people get close. She has many friends, has had many lovers, but not one of them knows her truly.
How and why did your character get to Silent Hill:
Jane has had a connection to Silent Hill since her conception - it was there that her parents had met and fallen in love, a month of reckless ghost hunting that ended in a pregnancy and a shotgun marriage. She grew up hearing stories of this town from both her father and her mother, and it was there that her father had disappeared after her parents divorce. The police had found his body floating on the lake weeks after his disappearance, an image that Jane had seen plastered in the papers, on the TV, on her mothers phone as a news advertisement. It's this image that she couldn't get out of her head, even as years mellowed out the pain and replaced it with anger, even still as that anger got tempered and dulled by parties and affairs, careers and failures. It should have been no surprise, then, that after a night of celebrating her new promotion, she found herself driving to Silent Hill - life could temper the pain, dull the anger, blur the image with a painters hand, but she always knew she would end up here. The gates of the Town that Takes All, here to demand answers as to why it took her father.
Bio:
If anyone was to ask Jane about her childhood, she would shrug and say it was normal, happy - the years before her tenth birthday were still her fondest memories, colored by childhood innocence and the love of her parents. Even once her parents divorced, her mother had made sure she wanted for nothing, acting the role as both mother and father. One thing Jane could never quite puzzle out, however, is the slightly plastic quality these memories took when she looked back on them. For her, looking back on her childhood felt like watching a movie, or a recreation - sure, it all seemed real enough, right up until you squinted at the cracks in the façade. She could never remember her father's face in these memories, or any time where they had truly bonded or had any experiences together. If she thought too hard about her father, she would find herself faced with a sense of dread, or disgust, and these emotions would again bleed to anger at her lack of understanding of why she felt the way she did.
Beyond her childhood, her teenage years were troubled. Living up to her surname, Jane was certainly wild - she had turned to drink by age 14, dabbled with drugs before deciding she hated the loss of control by 16, had more notches on her bedpost by 18 than most people would hit in their lifetime. It was a miracle she made it through high school at all, so consumed in the party scene that she neglected nearly every other aspect of her life. It was only through one of her countless interrogations of her mother about what her father was like that she finally found a passion for something other than drink - computers. Her father had been a skilled software engineer, working on numerous life-changing technologies and innovations, and it was through her desire to feel closer to him that she fell into the same path. Although it began as something to remind her of her father, it became more than that. A genuine and real passion for development made her truly skilled at what she did, and it was no wonder that it led to her being the youngest in her company to be promoted to Senior Software Engineer merely one year out of college. It was almost enough to even make her feel happy.
Almost.
Physical description:
Although Jane looked like her mother in nearly every other way, it was her fiery red hair that she took from her father. Her hazel eyes are wide and doe-like, although the deep bags under them took away any child-like quality they may have once held. Her skin is the sort of pale that betrays her nearly nocturnal lifestyle, although no amount of late-night partying and sleeping the days away would ever truly get rid of the freckles that covered her face. She is unathletic and lanky in stature, - although tall at 6ft, she is all awkward angles and pointy limbs, her diet of cornflakes and vodka not quite enough to allow her to fill out or gain any sort of muscle.

Yo GM.
Do you wanna pm you our character's twist/deepest secret/repressed memory to make setting up situations for them easier or nah?
Here's another app, if that's alright.Name: Denise Ryan
Age: 27
Profession: Wedding Planner, Bride-to-Be
Top 2 personality traits: Confident, Controlling
Biggest Fear: That she’ll never be loved.
Three items you have with you (Other than clothing-either profession based or related to your reason for being in Silent Hill): Phone, pepper spray, chapstick
Bonds: Marcus Dillard (a Fullback on the Atlanta Falcons, her fiancé), Nadiya Jenkins (her best friend and fellow wedding planner), Seamus Moore (an Irish golf player and former client she cheated on Marcus with), Daisy Jo Adams (rival from her pageant days), Charlene Ryan (her mother)
Character Flaws (may be self-percieved): Denise is very insecure about ever showing vulnerability’s and can often blow hot and cold in social situations. She is more than a little ruthless, and has on multiple occasions thrown people under the bus to get a leg up career-wise. Because she’s generally paranoid about others exploiting her, she’ll often attempt to do the same to them first.
How and why did your character get to Silent Hill: It was the day of her destination wedding, in Maine and Denise was just about to get ready to head to the church, when she got a frantic call that Marcus was nowhere to be found. Shocked and saddened, but most of all angered by the fact he did this to her o her wedding day, Denise set off alone, still dressed in her bridal ware. She wasn’t sure why, but something was pulling her to Silent Hill, and so she found herself in front of the gates.
Bio: Born to a poor family in a trailer park just outside Atlanta, Denise grew up understanding the importance of scrapping for every little thing that you could get. This led her to view life as a competition and little else-only furthered by her youth being spent competing in pageant after pageant. While the attention and the competition were things Denise loved, she also found herself despising losing, and so she quickly discovered the lengths she would go to to avoid that. Of course, she’d try to keep it on the legal end of things, but a rumor there, a carefully placed comment there, all helped to keep her on the top of the heap.
While she didn’t keep up with pageantry into college, Denise replaced that passion with throwing herself into event planning for her sorority. While a far different tack to being the one on stage, Denise found herself enjoying the idea of putting events together, from location reservations to finalizing guest lists. Making plans and making sure everyone adhered to them was exhilarating, Julie the plan she’d set out for herself. Part of that was marrying wealthy, and it was in college where she met Marcus, a star on the football team. Did she love him? Denise wasn’t sure, but Marcus was nice, funny, and out importantly, set for a sterling career in the NFL. So, she went for it.
After graduating college, Denise set off to the wedding planning industry, using the same tactics that propelled her through the pageant game. Using that same work ethic, she became one of the most renowned wedding planners in Atlanta, rich fiancé in hand. Still loveless, but all according to plan. At least, until she ended up sharing a night of passion with a client of hers. The next week, Marcus had proposed to her, and Denise was ready for the rest of her life.
