Ralsei

Upon hearing Spamton mention Kris, the prince's facial expression turned to a frown. Kris was nowhere to be found, and that made him nervous. He relied so much on the Lightners for companionship, and now... they were gone.

"We are a team." Ralsei sighed in response. "But I'm here. And Kris and Susie... aren't. They'd probably want me to be strong, and to keep my spirits up, but..."

"I'm... having trouble."

Ralsei's attention was then turned to someone else, who asked for a summary of what was going on. His expression lightened, and he decided to try his best.

"We're... all stuck in a cage." He said, not knowing what else to say besides the obvious. "There was a woman outside earlier, who told us all to stay calm while we wait for... Mr. Luthor, but I don't know who that could be."

Jed looked at the newcomer with a smile. Multiverse hero, eh? Not the weirdest thing he's ever heard, but definitely up there.

"Well, I just offered my services to her," Jed explained, motioning to Ellie. "But you're free to come with, if a 'hero of the multiverse' needs a place to stay, who am I to decline?"

Typically, Jed would never invite anyone to his home. He had a habit of keeping... potential evidence laying around. Guests didn't react well to a wall covered in photos... but here in Metropolis, he hadn't even had the time to start a collection. His apartment was spotless at the moment. Sure, a box sitting in the closest contained his costume and weapon, but he has ways of making sure that stays behind a closed door, literally and figuratively.

"Boston slums, eh?" The journalist replied, sympathy in his tone. "I'm from Florida myself, born and raised. It's a nice place, but I moved around a lot, from Florida to Arkansas, and I know there's greater places out there. For instance, Metropolis is shaping up to be a lot of fun."

Jed looked around, seeing the citizens pass the building, and took a deep breath. This really was a city of Golden opportunity, and he loved it for that. The atmosphere is kind and welcoming, enough to make even he offer his services to someone in need. Whether or not any offers were from the kindness of his heart or all part of a sinister plan was impossible to tell, something he could take advantage of. Maybe he needed a few friends, someone to call in case he needed an alibi or a ride. Maybe even an extra hand.

"Well," He said, holding out his hand for a handshake. "I'm Jed Olsen, journalist and soon-to-be reporter for the Daily Planet. I have an apartment just a couple blocks down, and it looks like you need to wash up, so how about we head down there. I don't have anywhere else to be."
Jed's attention was turned to a newcomer on the scene, an enthusiastic at that. From the words he spoke, this person seemed to be new in town, much like Ellie. Lots of tourists today...

"No worries," He replied with a smile. "Are you new here too?"

"Um, sir," Ralsei spoke up, taking a step towards Negan. "We all need to stay calm. You've already been hurt twice, and I think you should take it easy."

Ralsei then stepped towards Dris, sticking to his side with a warm smile. Of all the people here, Ralsei felt the most comfortable around Dris and Fret. Everyone else seemed so angry and on-edge, but at least these two were keeping their cool. After making sure Dris and Fret were unharmed, Ralsei turned his attention to Negan and the one who he was talking t-

"Oh." The prince spoke. "Hi, Spamton."

Spamton. Ralsei hadn't had time to get to know Spamton, given how their first meeting was a fight to the death. Ralsei and his team came out on top, but Ralsei did manage to hear Spamton's final goodbyes before he joined their side as an item. His opinion on Spamton was... somewhat negative, though he felt a bit of sympathy for the little man.

He was just a corrupted program... right?

Jed accepted the newspaper, folding it in half by the crease. Instead of continuing his read, he stuffed the paper into his satchel along with his other belongings, raising his head to talk to the girl.

"Where you from?" He asked, trying not to sound too curious. "You said you aren't used to the city, and let's just say, I can tell."

Jed realized how harsh his words may have sounded, raising his hand in an apologetic manner as he attempted to fix his wording.

"I meant, you look a little rough." He continued. "I know I'm just a man on the street, but what happened?"
