<Snipped quote by Galvanize>
Not where I work now, but the company on my resume is gone, along with anyone who could argue whether I was there. I made sure of that.
Was it bad?

<Snipped quote by Legend Begins>
Was it bad?
<Snipped quote by Magnanimity>
More of an idea than I asked for...

More of an idea than I asked for...
<Snipped quote by Artifact>
*Warps into view in a burst of blue pixels, landing a few feet from the air onto the floor with a loud thud*
Almost perfect timing. You called?
<Snipped quote by Galvanize>
Was what bad?
<Snipped quote by Legend Begins>
The company? Why would you make sure that the people who worked there are gone?
<Snipped quote by Galvanize>
So nobody can call and find out whether I was ever really there.
<Snipped quote by Legend Begins>
What did you do to them?
<Snipped quote by Galvanize>
Er, nothing. Nothing at all.
<Snipped quote by Legend Begins>
Artemis?
<Snipped quote by Galvanize>
Yeah?
<Snipped quote by Legend Begins>
What did you do?
<Snipped quote by Galvanize>
I really didn't do anything. I had to do some research to find a company that made sense, but I didn't have to do anything else.
<Snipped quote by Legend Begins>
What about the people?
<Snipped quote by Galvanize>
They presumably got other jobs when the company went out of business. Or retired. Or any number of other things people do when they lose their job.
<Snipped quote by Legend Begins>
How does that relate to them who “could argue that you worked there”?
<Snipped quote by Galvanize>
I picked a company where "my manager" died a year ago, and his manager is retired. Tracking down anyone who would know I don't exist would be more trouble than it's worth.
<Snipped quote by Legend Begins>
I see now.
*sighs*
<Snipped quote by Galvanize>
What did you have in mind?
