Some people are surprised when they hear my age. A lot of them think that I'm a lot younger because of how I act in role plays.
(Other people say they're surprised when they hear my age when we're talking over the phone some even say they're surprised I'm a guy I've been told that my voice is really high)
I have been role-playing for a long time, I don't remember how old I was when I started, but I do know that over the years I've developed habits that make my role-playing style less than desirable
I don't know if anyone else role plays like I do and I have my reasons.
I'd like to think that the way I role play is a little unique, not original by any means but definitely different.
I do exclusively one-on-one role plays. While I like paragraph length replies and replies with detail, to me it's not a necessity.
In fact, the way that I roleplay my rule of thumb is as long as I can work with it and we're both trying to an extent, it's fine.
If I have enough to continue the role play without more input than I will and if I need more then I'll say something.
I have heavy fetishes that some people find rather disturbing, I've had some people ask me why I even go near some of the topics I do, and I've had other people that straight up block me because of it. I'm not going to put my fetish list here, but I will post it on DMs to anyone who tries to make a role play with me.
Another thing that turns people off about the way I role play is that one of the main things that I do is when it's my turn I can control whatever I need to including the other person's character (within reason) I won't make them do anything drastic, but just the fact that I do this at all is a turn off for a lot of people I see it as fair because i give my partner the same freedom. when it's my partner's turn they can control everything, including my character (within reason). I like to call it a sort of shared game mastery.
one thing that I know is that I like it when my partner has his character treat my character as if they're on equal ground (or something close) regardless of whether they are or not. Like, for example, when you play a king that's big, strong and heavy, who's known to throw his weight around the way that I'd like it to be played out is that if he learns something about my character that makes him feel like my character is greater than he is he doesn't treat him with fear rather he respects him. He is not afraid. Turned on to the point where he can't keep it in his pants anymore wanting to dominate me if not to prove that he's still on top, then just to show off and try to get a rise out of me (maybe). Turned on by the idea of getting dominated by me due to the fact that I do have so much power that he would deem me worthy of being the dominant one in a relationship with him if only every once in a while( gotta prove he's not scared of me he's still not a pushover) (maybe). Afraid of me and walking on eggshells due to what power I may have (no, no, no, a million times NO!!!!!)
I'm a switch, the way that I role play is that the dominant role is shared between me and my partner not based on the role play itself but instead the situation in the role play in the moment for example I have some days where I like to have my character put his foot down and then I have some days where I like my character to just get sat on and non-fatally crushed.
I prefer doing male x male role plays, but if you prefer to play male x female role plays. I am willing to play a female role. Sometimes I'm willing to play the male role, but honestly, it depends. I won't do female x female roleplays. I am a person who has a hard time figuring out how girls work both mentally and physically. (Typical guy mentality as it is, what's worse is that I'm gay so yeah.)
another thing that I like to do is have my role plays have a kind of logic even if that logic boils down to a magic system that doesn't make any sense at all when you really think about it. It's still fine. Like, for example, if you have a character who has a fetish about getting hurt, they have to have a way to either heal themselves afterwards or it has to be an injury that wouldn't leave permanent harm
another thing to point out about my role play style. I like having a dominant character who's not a jerk. I don't like characters that are needlessly mean to other characters, especially when they take it too far. There's a difference between being the dominant role and being straight up cruel and I'd like to draw a line somewhere.
I like it when at the moment when my partner's character is being dominant, he's doing it in a playful way of swords like for example the character likes to throw his weight around, but he doesn't really fully realize how heavy he really is or maybe he does and just toys with people that way not to be cruel or mean but instead, to be himself, to have fun.
The way I role play is that characters can get hurt and even die but they can also be brought back through a number of means if they do die if we decide to bring them back (sometimes I make a character that you're just practically supposed to hate)
