Hey! Great video. I also make fan music videos on youtube! Just as a word of advice I'm not sure what software you're using but if you enable "Stretch to fill frame" and disable "Maintain output aspect ratio" the video will fill the whole frame rather than having the letterbox format. I also tend to get my source footage by pirating the full film from piratebay usually as an MKV file and then using Handbrake to convert that into an MP4 so I can use it with Sony Vegas. This keeps the framerate up and stops it from looking choppy while also maintaining full quality and makes it look a bit better when stretched out of the original output ratio. Again really cool video I hope my advice doesn't come off as criticism!!

@Crimson Clover No worries! Thanks! It's great you found the video cool, and your advice is kind of a compliment. I can't articulate how. xD

Regarding your points, in actual fact -ha!- you reminded me I forgot to add something: I left it in letterbox format intentionally! I'm still an old school dinosaur using Windows Movie Maker 6.0 for most of the work, and Movie Maker for certain adjusts - I could've stretched it to widescreen, but I decided the letterbox format, I don't know, counter-intuitive as it may sound I kind of liked it in a Cyclops' visor sort of way and to just go with it - knowing full well I'd get called out for it. :)

As for vid quality, thanks for the tips! I was ripping straight from the DVDs but my ripping software....(Full DVD Ripper 9)
The main problem is I have to then run the file through Movie Maker to save it in a format compatible with Movie Maker 6.0.

For this video I thought it was time I jump ahead in tech, I think I'd downloaded Handbrake.....But, ugh...confusion settled in if I recall. I know I tried a different vid maker too, might've been Sony Vegas but... I'm no stranger to putting in the work to scale a learning curve and bustin' through confusion or whatever, I'm nothing if not determined, only ephermerally daunted, when the need/priority/desire is there. But, *sigh* I felt more a pull just to make the vid - it wasn't yet the time. I accepted my self-imposed lot.

And cool! : ) I'll give your vids a look sometime.
