*facedown on the desk* So - did not call compliance b/c some friends explained to me what that kind of thing is actually for, and my situation does not apply.
Said situation improved, apparently to make way for a fresh wave of completely different bullshit.
Our building has 4 bathrooms. of the 4... 3 of the fuckers are tied to the same pipe - basically if one clogs, the other 2 do it shortly after.
The last one is separate. But it, for some unholy reason, runs* hot water.*
So yeah. Monday, 11/7 - #1 clogged, which meant 2 and 3 clogged... then #1 flooded. Completely silently too, I didn't know anything was even wrong until there was water to the opposite wall.
So yours truly had to call maintenance (we're on a friendly basis at this point. I should send Tina some flowers...). While maintenance is on the way, someone from another office bursts in and says 'is your building flooding?!'
And I'm like 'uhhh I mean technically? Why?' with that cold feeling in my stomach. Turns out, their building is behind ours, down a hill. The 2 of us are connected. ...Our toilet that flooded the floor... flooded their ceiling. I almost cried. I wasn't the only one there, but I, for lack of a better term, had seniority. So I had to handle 1. calling maintenence. 2. telling patients to kindly gtfo 3. telling the dr that his completely booked afternoon had to be canceled 4. blowing up my manager's phone until he responded.
So maintence came out that day and had to yank up the floor to get at the water. Because we're in the South and our standard weather usually means anything wet that doesn't get properly handled can turn to black mold quick. So they do all this shit and by Friday say things will be done by this week.
Well... guess what happened this Tuesday.
If you said: "the same fucking thing but slightly to the left, because the universe hates Dizzy" you are correct!!!
I will spare the rest, suffice to say... if anything occurs on Monday or Tuesday of next week, I am going to walk out the employee back door and into the fucking woods.
