I'd be playing vampire 5e, not sure where the chronicle would be placed, mostly just seeing if it's even viable here.

@Birdboy like VAMPIRE MASQUERADE or some sorta adaptation of it to 5e?

@Dark Cloud Vampire the Masquerade fifth edition, yes. My brain is too small to fully understand revised but if someone is willing to teach me I would gladly dm that too

@Dark Cloud I might have been confusing with that, I meant this edition of VTM online.anyflip.com/dnpm/cvid/mobile/i…

Man I don't think I've seen any world of darkness run on here that I can recall. It'd be really cool to see a vampires the masquerade game here. You'd probably get a good amount of interest if you did decide to launch. People tend to be nervous about unfamiliar systems but equally enthusiastic. && Probably a few people who have played before lurking around.

@Mae Well I would be more than happy to help people learn the system. The fifth edition is pretty easy to teach in my opinion. I guess if I get a little more interest I might give it a shot here, any suggestions on where I should set it?

I wish people would run older editions than newer ones. I miss 3.5

@Dark Cloud 3.5e Vampire? For dnd I have run 3.5e but it was so daunting to a new dm like myself that I left it feeling like I would never fully grasp the system.

I've run V5 on here before. It didn't go well. Had a player who didn't work out, and from there was left with people with dramatically different ideas about what they wanted from the game.

While I'd be interested in joining if you decide to run something, I will say this; Make sure to have a dedicated session zero equivalent. V5 isn't like D&D where most people play it generally the same. Each table is quite different, and it means different players bring dramatically different expectations to the game based off their background.

I second what Necroes says. While I myself don't really partake in tabletop, a session zero is always a good idea.

@Necroes Good point, I will keep that in mind and would probably want to have my players get to know each other and what each others concepts are well ahead of time. I am still iffy on actually running this, but if I do I will let you know!

As someone who played in @Necroes' game I third-ed that. I was completely green to the system going in but there was a lot of different vibes from the different characters and I think that definitely would have been remedied a bit with a session zero. I had a pretty good time with what I played in that game though, don't get me wrong.
