Personality: Dazed and confused would be a good descriptior for this young lass. Maybe it's anxiety over this new gig or a lifetime of being under outside pressure but oh boy does she have some nerves to sort through. As much as she stammers and flusters over common social interactions she's a bit of a savant once you put her on a board and have her slinging skate jargon at you. Being physically active and socially accepted opens her up to the world as a player not a slave to her temper basically. She loves to have fun however and hates to pout to long on her struggles with comments like, "oh it;s fine", or "Sucks to suck." Doesn't mind the tomboy label either, so long as you don't get weird about it. Which has happened in the past, causing her to be a loner during her schooling.

Rollie can be intense, and will fight for what she believes is right. Deadpan is her forte, but when she isn't too sour there is a genuine grin under her locks. Playful banter and goofing off are how she breaks the ice as she tries to not be too dour about life. You can tell there is an earnest attempt at her trying to connect when she speaks. This can backfire making her sound pleading when she gets upset. Knocking her off her game can be quite hard as she's already dated enough to know that maybe skateboarding isn't the most painful thing out there.

Rollie enjoys teaching others tricks. A natural at the sport, her encouraging demenour comes out the most when she can instruct someone on how to do the awesome thing she's thought up now. Being tenacious is a big thing for her as well, attempting hard tricks is a great way to befriend her! This means she's a bit brash when it comes to things not on the ramp though. Kids and adults alike might find it hard to come up to her with a question NOT pertaining to skating as she just gets so into it sometimes. Being personal and polite is a struggle for her that she is trying to be better at. Bores easily, but follows rules pretty well, the minimal amount of responsibility usually works for her. Acceptance of herself and others is what she strives for which lead her to taking the skateboarding job in the first place.

Background: Rollie's upbringing was full of adventure. He father was a military pilot and would always have them moving with him as his career progressed, which gave Rollie plenty of time to learn to be the new kid. It wasn't so bad at first, seeing new places and people all the time. But the traveling left her with little time to actually get to know her father as well as she would have liked to. Early in her life her parents decided to separate leaving her with no siblings. Her mother seemed to have moved on quickly and her new step father was nice enough, though they did settle into Oarbreak before she finished her primary schooling.

During her youth, she was a bit of a rascal. As a way to get attention from her father she acted out alot in her independent feelings. Big for her age at the time, she was a bully when she could be. Her stepfather considered this a sign and threatened her numerous times to better her grades and actions but to no avail. Her habit for being a rebel was born during this time, as she thought she knew everything there was to know. It wasn't until the passing of her father that she would learn otherwise. This brought about a period of regression for the tiny terror that she would use through out high school to get by in her books and grades. She graduated North Oarbreak Highschool as a straight B student: enough to get her to the community college a few hours away she thinks.

Now the summer is here and Rollie is trying to find her place in the world. Her mom and stepdad still have a nest of kids to take of so she's moved to a small flat near the mainland bridge. Sure it's noisy AF but it's cheap and right on the way to the beach. And this new skate gig should be a blast, so the story goes. She doesn't know much about teaching kids, or how to surf, or how to adult...but she can shred!

Personality: Conner is a spontaneous and outgoing young man. He likes to have fun. His favorite activities are surfing, swimming, playing video games, and reading comic books. He enjoys socializing with others and being the center of attention. He is an handshaking, touching kind of guy. He openly expresses affection through hugs, holding hands, as well as stroking and grabbing shoulders. He particularly likes flirting with attractive guys. He makes friends easily, and will happily chat up strangers if they interest him somehow. He enjoys social situations, and believes that everyone else would too. He's likely to convince people who he perceives as being lonely to come along with things like 'come on, you'll enjoy it!' or 'you don't know what you're missing!' While he does need to spend time alone once in a while, he gets bored if he does it too long. He values all his relationships, and will happily stick with anyone he considers a friend.

He can often be found with a smile on his face, even during stressful situations. He often makes jokes, when the situation is tense to lift people's spirits. He may tease others in a 'playful' way, and expect them not to 'take it so seriously.' He does feel bad if somebody does actually get their feelings hurt by what he says. Sometimes his attempts at humor are read as him not taking the situation seriously. While he does joke around a lot, he is capable of getting things done. He just doesn't feel the need to be so dour about it. He often suggests that others not be so serious.

Conner enjoys showing off his skills for others in order to get praise. He is prone to bragging about the things he is good at. He does it in a 'look at this awesome thing I can do!' way, rather than an 'I'm better than you.' way. Becoming a Star Guardian has given him plenty of chances to do that. He will often be the first one to jump into battle with a monster just to show off the cool stuff he can do with water.

He likes to live in the moment rather than dwelling on the past. This means Conner is not the best when it comes to organization, or planning. Due to his lack of planning ahead, it makes him impulsive, and he tends to jump into things without a second thought. He gets bored when he is not sufficiently stimulated, and will complain about being bored. He is also not the most tidy person. He does clean up his mess after the fact if it's pointed out to him, but he has trouble avoiding making a mess in the first place.

Growing up a member of a rich family that has high standards, and a seemingly perfect older sister has given him a number of insecurites. He’s always worried about not being good enough, and that he doesn’t belong anywhere. He feels like he has something to prove. He wants to have a purpose in life, and while being a Star Guardian has given him that to a degree, he still has fears. He tries to hide his worries behind a mask of cheerfulness, but they’re always there.

Background: Conner grew up in an upscale area of Oarbreak Cay. Comner was the youngest son of the wealthy and prominent Waters family. His parents were quite strict, and they had high standards for their kids. Conner had an older sister named Arianna, and she was the the apple of the family’s eye, at least it appeared that way to Conner. She was beautiful, talented, intelligent, and it felt like she could do no wrong. To him, it always seemed like anything he could do she could do better.

In his teenage years, Conner gave up trying to live up to the high standards set by his sister. He only did just well enough in school to get by, and spent a lot of time slacking off. He would often act up in class, and get himself into trouble. There were days where he would cut class to go to the beach and surf. Surfing was one of his favorite activities. It was definitely something Arianna wouldn’t do. He enjoyed the thrill and adrenaline high of catching a big wave. That, and he also flirting with the hot guys in swimsuits on the beach.

He continued coasting through life trying to have as much fun as possible. Even though his grades weren’t the best, he was rather popular with other students, and had a few close friends. His parents wished he would put more effort into his studies, and better represent his family name, but Conner didn’t really care to try. His sister was obviously the shining star of the family, so why did they need him for?

His parents wanted him to go to college, but he wasn’t interested in doing more school. He got a job at the local surf shop, and saved up enough money to move out of his of his parents house and rent an apartment. He recently decided to join the Skate Camp to stick it to his family, and another way to get that adrenaline fix. After all, you could only surf on the beach when the waves were good, but you could skate pretty much anywhere.

Name: Zeke "SKID" Wilson

What do they skate?? Just about anything, in his prime he was what was called a rigger, someone who used every bit of the resources around. making the un-skate-able, skate-able. These dudes carried, nails, hammer, drills and even blow torches to make ramps or connect grinds. This was the true example of the creative mind mixing with skateboarding. (Retired now)

Appearance:

Personality: He used to be a hardcore rebel, but with aged he really mellowed out. Now he's just about keeping chill vibes as he runs his shop with Ghostie. He's very laid back. He doesn't like to think back on his skater life as what he never achieved eats at him. He sometimes is even caught looking at the Championship Comp. flyer that hands in his office, albeit that's when he wants to be left alone.

Overall he's a really cool guy, he's nice to his customers and Ghostie, he also believes that Ghostie could possibly be as great as he once was.

Background; SKID was a local, living here when skateboarding really hit, he's skated with the best of the best and he was considered to be one of the great "Shredding Saints", literally the gods of today's skateboarding world, or at least here. Ate the age of sixteen, SKID was already making waves, sweeping the local comps that cane about. He could do it all, vert, street, freestyle, he even made his own style, using the world and anything around him as skate terrain.

Sadly about ten years ago, he had signed up for the Championship Comp, for the Shredder's Cup. At the age of thirty five, he was still in his prime until one fluke. There was a gap in the park that very few had ever landed safely, One would take the blues snake path, building up as much speed as they can to launch out of the bowl and over the building into the next bowl over with the American flag Graffiti. It was the dreaded "Snake of Justice" Gap

With a varial 360 mctwist to a sack tap, he thought for sure he hand it until his wheels clipped the bowls edge. He broke three bones that day and then he realized, SKID was not immortal and so he became washed up for the most part. Running a small skate shop not too far from the park that ended his skate career.
