The twins are first found at one of the labs of Dr. Kyudai Guraki by a task force led by Principal Nedzu in the aftermath of the battle at Jaku City. Research and their testimony reveals that the two are formerly quirkless twins that became part of an experiment to create a subspecies of Nomu that can coordinate and communicate with various villains without being jammed or tracked by conventional means. Despite the successful removal of most of the implanted quirks, removing the shared telepath quirk and augmentations proved to be impossible to remove without risking their lives.

Officially adopted by Nezu, the two lived their new lives and strived to be heroes to help their uncle clean up Japan. At least that was the plan, if not for a dear friend from their past revealing to still be alive and now striving to become a hero as well.

Nomu Surgery [Sora & Shiro]
- Mental Engraving: Turned both into a mental gestalt where the experiences of one will also become the experience of another allowing the two to instantly share what they learn, feel and think that can only temporarily stave off by a special medication.

- Bodily Modification: Due to the incomplete experiment, both exhibited a small increase in strength relative to borderline 1 ton, allowing them to jump 4 meters high with little recoil.

- Super Regeneration: an inferior version of the original, both can heal twice as fast yet gradual than normal humans.
