They were taken up a flight of stairs and into an office with huge windows. A middle aged man sat there, writing on a piece of paper. He looked up and smiled. “Lady Shade…it’s been too long. Who have you brought?”

Ana stepped forward and said “my proof. Last night this girl was a cursed one…and she is now cured” the gatekeeper stood, a frown on his lips. “Is this true?”

Damien follows as he shifts himself to keep close to Violet when they enter the office and stop with Miss Shade. Upon listening to the conversation, he watches the man and taking glances to Violet to see her reactions. He then takes a step forward after asking if it's true. "It is. I am a witness to the events that occurred. I came today to give my account should you let me." He says with a bow of his head.

The gatekeeper looked at him closely and said “and who might you be?” Dante said “this is Damien. He has been helping us out.” Ana paused and looked at him and the feelings hit her again and she swallowed.

"Damien Malcolm, of Clan Malcolm." He introduces fully. He didn't like using formalities like these especially infront of Vampires. Since they were to be the Clan that is to prevent another war and mainly against Vampires. It just felt wrong. Probably no wonder they stayed hidden.

The Keeper nodded and said “I remember your pack during the end of the war…did good work. Saved a lot of lives…” Dante said “sir how do you know?” The keeper smiled and nodded to Ana. “You should read her reports from those days…a great read” he sighed and said “I take it…you have no idea why this is such a big deal? Mr Malcolm? Dante said “sir we don’t have to go there sir…truly it’s in the past…”

Ana said “cursed ones are the reason the war started in the first place”

Damien looked up to meet his gaze to the Gatekeeper and looked confused with a tilt of his head. He didn't expect praise. But what made him more confused was what they meant by why this was such a big deal, but yet he listened anyways.

He couldn't believe what he was hearing. Cursed ones started the war? So there were cursed ones to begin with? Did the pack know? If so who all knew? How come he didn't know? So many questions and yet it seemed the people before him would be the ones to give him the answers. "How is that so?" He asks them, curious but serious.

The Gate Keeper sat down and said “we vampires have great control. We aren’t killers. But when a cursed one reaches full rate and is taken over by their no name illness, they attack without reason. All they want is blood. That’s what started all of this. They attacked humans and humans reacted…and we had to defend ourselves until…” he looked to Ana “our witch able to end the war”

Damien listened, soaked in the information he was given about the Vampires and the cursed ones. They were two sides of the same coin yet with big differences. He looked to Ana then. He did know if it was appropriate to ask. It seemed like a sore subject. "So....do you know what's making them cursed ones then?" He asks cautiously.

Ana turned and said “in the past they were burn that way. Then some time in life line their control snaps and they lose all humanity. But the recent events like Ms Violet, some being is taking the true names of more then just vampires. Humans, werewolves, anything. This being we have heard rumor being calls Panic Discord is taking their names…”

Ana said “that’s one thing I would like to try. I haven’t tried it quite yet so” the gatekeeper said “I would like to believe this but o need to see this myself. And I have a case for you”

He picked up a file and held it out to them. “There have been five murders in the last two weeks that look like a cursed one…find them and try your theory on them”

Damien takes the file and opens it showing Miss Shade. "Guess we should get going then?" He asks. His eyes linger on her form longer than he should have before Snapping out of it. He was glad he brought extra clothes. No doubt he would need them should he need to fully shift. When they were ready to go he was ready.

The Keeper said “we shall have Ms Violet stay with me for now. That way we can see if she is truly cured. And make sure she is safe as well” Ana nodded and took the file from Damein and said “seems the killings are by the Big Eye in the human world…”

Dante nodded and said “keeper can we have our gear now?” The man chuckled and said “yes you may have your weapons back. They have been cleared”

"Sounds like fun." Damien comments. He looked to Miss Violet when they said that they were going to keep her there for her safety. He is glad that either way that he is on this side of the conflict and not on the other. He was debating if he should call the pack and warn them or see them in person. But figured that was a thought for another day. For now he needed to be on his 'A-game' and prepare for what might happen for when they get there.

The maid returned with three bags and Dante jumped over and took them, holding his bag with a hug. “Oh I’ve missed you…” Ana smiled softly and the three headed back out side and Dante was digging in his bag. “I need my daggers…”

Ana was looking over the file and said “all the attacks happen at dusk so we have a little bit of time. We should head down there and figure out the best location to set up an ambush..” she glanced at Damien and said “any thoughts? You know the city better then we do?”

A small smile graced Damien's lips when he saw Dante hug a bag that he guessed was full of his belongings. It was for when they headed out that he was asked about the city. "Well considering the 'Big Eye' is one of the largest Ferris Wheels in the human world, it is a tourist destination to be sure. Is there a more frequented area around it or it is random?" Damien asks as he checks the file from over her shoulder.

Ana glanced back and saw how close he was and blushed a bit then said “it seems they like the water front…so the bridge must also be an area we can use…” Dante had found all his daggers and was putting them in place and said “I feel like me again…”

Ana smiled at him and said “now that our weapons are returned we should be better equipped this go round…I just hope this still works…”

Damien nodded, glancing to Ana before he felt his face felt warm. Not sure what was going on, he looks away to Dante and smiles seeing them both feel better. "So one us uses the Big E as a vantage point and find the cursed one and then we can pursue them from there."

Damien nods in understanding. Following the two toward the Big Eye. It was when he took notice of Ana observing her surroundings of the city that he noticed her say how much it changed. "How long has it been?" He asks Ana.
