Cassiopeia managed to find some bubble bath and oils she could use to moisturize after. She was just testing the water when Nic knocked on the door.

She smiled, part of him finding Nic checking in on her adorable, and another part wishing he would just join her. Nic's bathtub wasn't huge, but she would happily sit squished in the tub with Nic if it meant he was with her.

”I did, thank you. You have everything almost borderline OCD organized in here. I'm half tempted to rearrange,” she teased him.

”Ich verstehe es besser, aber das liegt daran, dass ich niemanden habe, mit dem ich darüber sprechen kann,” Caden informed them.

Their wine arrived and Caden took the first sip. He nodded his approval and they were both poured a glass before general appetizers were brought out for the table.

”Worauf hast du Hunger?”

Avery chuckled and kissed the top of her head. ”Works for me, little fox.” Avery kissed the top of Kimiko's head and threw whatever popped on the TV on for background noise. He settled with Kimiko in his arms, humming softly.

“I will probably cry if you did that.” Nic says with a laugh. He’s tempted to ask to join her but he also doesn’t know how she will prefer to have him see her naked for the first time. His hand hovers over the doorknob before he decides he shouldn’t put either of them through more teasing.

Needing to pull his hand away from the doorknob before he just opens it, Nic runs it through his hair instead. “Let me know if you need anything, okay?” He tells Cass.

Nero takes their glass of win and greedily drinks, definitely feeling like they could use the alcohol right about now after today’s events. They peer up at Caden once the appetizers have been set down. “Solange du es verstehen kannst. Viele der Bücher, die ich mitgebracht habe, sind in dieser Sprache, da Dämonen zu schmutzig sind, um sie zu benutzen.” They smile at him with a tilt of their head before sipping more of their wine.

“Was das Essen angeht, so kann ich mich nicht zwischen den Agnolotti Del Plin und den Tagliatelle entscheiden.” Nero says, pointing to the options on the menu. One had ragu, which the imp knew to be a pretty indulgent meat, while the other had lamb, a meat Nero already knew they liked.

Cassiopeia started to strip down while Nic talked, almost feeling like she was getting naked in front of him but she wasn't.

”I wasn't sure which clothes you were okay with me wearing, so I didn't grab anything. Could you set them outside the door for me?”

She stepped carefully into the tub, the tropical scent of bubbles enveloping her and she sighed. Cassi managed to stand with one foot in the tub and slowly lowered herself down, hooking the injured ankle over the edge of the tub without it getting wet at all.

Cassiopeia settled against the back of the tub, surrounded with bubbles and sighed again.

”Your bathtub is perfect by the way,” Cassi called, not sure where Nic was in the bedroom.

Caden nodded his understanding when Nero explained the books were in the ancient language of the celestial beings. As for Nero's food choices, Caden smiled.

”Warum haben wir nicht beides und teilen es?”

Nic tries to regain his composure, having just talked himself out of barging in. “Sure thing, I’ll go get those for you.” His voice comes out strained and he’s quick to grab a large t-shirt and some sweats for Cass, just in time to hear her call out to him again.

“Think it could fit two people?” Nic says, attempting to joke but just creating more frustration for himself. “I have the clothes for you, I’ll set them down out here.”

Nero grins widely. “Ich wusste, dass Sie vorschlagen würden, beides zu kaufen.” The imp chirps before finishing off their first glass of wine and tasting some of the appetizers with a happy wiggle.

Cassiopeia grinned, walking her fingers along the tub. She looked over at the door she left unlocked.

”It could. The two people in question though would be rather close together,” she said, sliding her fingers to her legs.

Cassiopeia was glad she had jumped on that laser hair removal bandwagon. She never had to shave her legs anymore.

Caden chuckled and poured Nero some more wine before he sampled the appetizers with his imp, simply enjoying the evening with his little imp.

“Careful, you’re getting awfully close to flirting there.” Nic says with a smirk as he leans against the door, Cass’ change of clothes still in his hands. “Someone might think you want me to joi-” The bathroom door opens, forcing the tall man to fall onto the floor with a groan.

Nic holds his shoulder with a wince. “So, the door wasn’t locked.” He rolls onto his back and stares at the ceiling wit a long sigh.

Nero leans back in their seat and sighs happily, patting their tummy with a cheerful smile. “Both was a good choice.” They say as they sip the last of their wine. “Müssen wir immer noch zum Unterschlupf gehen?” They hope there’s been enough time since the demon encounter for them to just go home and chill.

Cassiopeia whipped her head towards the door when he suddenly opened and Nic hit the floor. She tried not to laugh and failed. She covered her mouth with her hands while laughing.

”I'm sorry, but that was really funny,” she said.

Cassi watched him roll over and stare at the ceiling. She shook her head, still smiling and went back to running her fingers along her leg and playing with the bubbles.

There were so many bubbles that Nic wouldn't be able to see much. ”Now that you're in here…did you maybe…. Want to just leave the clothes on the counter?” she teased, looking over at Nic.

”Let's get dessert first. I can call Avery and have him do a perimeter check after to make sure no one is there.” Caden pulled the dessert menu over and flipped it open to see what they had.

The restaurant had grown quiet with the later hour. There were only a handful of tables now, one group but the others were couples, and all were well lost within each other.

Nic ends up joining Cass’ laughter, finding it too infectious to resist - plus, it’s a totally funny situation. Once the laughter dies down, he looks down at his chest to where the clothes he grabbed for her sit halfway on the floor and half on his chest. “I see my invite has been revoked before even offered.” He says, rolling his head to look behind at Cass upside down before he stands.

“I thought for sure you would have locked it…” Nic says with a chuckle as he places the clothes by the sink. Even from the floor he can tell that Cass is covered enough that he doesn’t have to act prudish, but he still avoids letting his gaze stray any longer than her neck for now.

The mention of dessert has Nero sitting straight again with a wide grin before leaning into Caden to look at the dessert menu. “Let’s get two of everything.” They suggest as they try to give Caden their best ‘puppy dog eyes’ expression. They wiggle side to side in their seat in a little dance.

Cassiopeia smiled and shook her head. She looked away from Nic and played with the bubbles.

”I trust you, Nic. Besides, even if you did walk in here with the intention to ravish me, I wouldn't have said no. But I don't think you will while I'm in the bathtub tonight, because you know how much I need a few minutes to relax and wash off the day. But if you want to come over here and kiss me, I'd be okay with that,” she said. Cass looked back at Nic, smiling at him, and held her hand out.

Caden was about to remind Nero that ordering two of each dessert was only for special occasions until they looked at him with wide, beautiful eyes. Caden looked into Nero's eyes, getting caught up in the two-coloured spell of them, and sighed.

He chuckled when they started to wiggle in their seat.

”Alright, fine. Two of everything,” Caden said, and placed a kiss on Nero's forehead before he rested his hand on their leg.

“Who am I to deny you a kiss?” Nic says with a smile, his cheeks warming at Cass saying she trusts him. He eagerly walks towards her taking her hand and kissing it before he closes the distance to kiss her softly on the lips.

Nic pulls back after a moment to grin crookedly at Cass. “Would you like me to wash your hair?” He asks as he tucks some behind her ear.

Nero grins triumphantly, looking very much like a cat as they gaze at Caden. After the kiss on their forehead, the imp wiggles some more in happiness as they place a hand over the one Caden has on their leg. “They all sounded good and now I know how much of a sweet tooth you have too so… more seems better.”

Cassiopeia kissed Nic back happily, a smile on her face while she kissed him. She blinked up at him after he pulled back. She laughed softly, tilting her head back as she looked up at him.

”You and my hair… I know it's something you used to do for your sister, but I'm starting to think it's a bit more of something else for you.”

Caden rubbed his fingers along the inside of Nero's thigh, watching his hand while he spoke.

”Yes, but I don't indulge that often. Aside from you,” Caden said, looking at Nero with a wicked grin.

“Well, as the great Detective Boyle once said, ‘The most intimate thing you can do for someone is wash their hair’.” Nic says with a boyish smile as he quotes a line the character from Brooklyn Nine Nine says. “I just figure it’s something that might feel nice and relaxing.” He starts cupping some water and getting the strands of Cass’ hair wet.

Nero squirms as a pleasant shudder climbs up their back, both from Caden’s movements and his grin. “I was hoping I could use that in my favor.” They say with a smirk, trying to ignore their own blush.

Cassi recognized the reference and smiled. She shifted slightly in the tub so Nic could wash her hair.

”Always the caregiver,” Cassi stated. ”You’re going to spoil me,” she murmured, shutting her eyes.

Caden chuckled and squeezed Nero's leg. He ordered two of everything off the dessert menu. Once their wait staff left, Caden shifted slightly and brushed his leg against Nero's.

”Ich weiß, wir haben Spaß, aber was werden wir aus dem machen, was heute passiert ist? Sollten wir Crowley kontaktieren?”

Caden continued his rubbing of Nero's thigh, following the pattern of lace higher than publicly appropriate, but no one was paying attention to them. Caden didn't linger long, tracing a pattern back down their thigh to Nero's knee, and looked at them.

Nic chuckles with a smile as he starts getting her hair wet before rubbing the tips of his fingers into Cass’ scalp. “Do you use a specific shampoo or anything?” He asks as he goes. “I have some clarifying shampoo that I use for my hair, but I don’t have much for adding moisture for your curls.”

Nero’s unable to look away from Caden even as he orders their desserts. When he mentions what happened earlier, they find it a little difficult to concentrate on what he’s saying at first before they process it. They look down at their lap as they fidget. ”Ich weiß nicht... Aber wir sollten es ihm lieber früher als später sagen, oder?”

”That's alright. My hair will survive one evening, but braiding it should help keep the frizz back,” Cassi said, practically purring from the way Nic massaged her scalp.

She found the washing of her hair much more relaxing and sensual than it was the first time Nic did this for her. Even though he had been gentle, Cass had still been injured and feeling ill after her fall. She knew she had a scar now from that fall, but it was fully healed now.

Cassiopeia stretched her leg out — the one she left out of the tub — and sighed, as she relaxed further.

”You know, you're really good at this,” she murmured.

Caden smiled at his imp and nodded. ”I think it would be best, especially if he already believes there is something up,” Caden said. He squeezed their leg when the desserts arrived.

Their table was quickly filled with desserts and a second bottle of complimentary wine. Caden thanked them in Italian, having another short conversation that ended in laughter.

He looked back at Nero, his eyes sparkling with mirth and kissed them softly.

”They were worried you wouldn't be able to eat all the dessert and I assured them you could both eat and drink me under the table,” he whispered into Nero's ear, making circles with his fingers along the inside of their leg. ”They thanked us for supporting their restaurant in this way and gave us a free bottle of wine, and we're welcome back anytime.”

“Sounds like I’ll be on braid duty again tonight.” Nic says with a smile. Of course he always thinks of Cass as being adorable, but her purring tone reminds him too much of a cat to not find her a bit amusing as well.

Nic’s gaze shifted to the leg she has dangling out of the tub and swallows the lump that’s appeared in his throat. He can’t help but notice the way her thigh squished against the wall of the bathtub and feels the sudden urge to want to squeeze the thick part of her leg. He busies himself by grabbing the shampoo and working a small amount into her scalp, just wanting to get that clean for her but not dry out her curls.

“I’ll admit, I’ve done this for some of my patients before too - just washing their hair. Some of them can’t shower properly because of one thing or another and greasy hair starts to wear on their mental health.” Nic starts cupping water again to rinse out the soap from Cass’ hair as he talks, helping him resist his tempting thoughts. “You’re by far my favorite person to do this for though.” Shampoo all rinsed now, he kisses her head.

“Alright, I’ll let you relax now.” Nic moves so he can see Cass’ face again. “I’ll braid it once you’re done and I’ve showered.”

Nero looks up from their lap to give Caden a half-smile in return, the comforting squeeze on their thigh helping them relax a little. “Ich muss etwas Blut besorgen, um mit ihm in Kontakt zu treten, und ich sollte es außerhalb Ihres Grundstücks tun.” They say softly to Caden as the dessert arrives.

As Caden starts a conversation in Italian with the staff, Nero can’t help but smile. It always amazes the demon just how charismatic their dragon is to just about anyone. When Caden turns back to look at Nero, they beam up at him as they notice how brilliantly his eyes shine.

“That’s very sweet of them,” Nero says, a little bit in awe of the simple kind gesture. It’s hard to think of humans being kindhearted when you’ve been the one torturing humankind for their sins, but Caden always seems to find them in one way or another. “Is Italian anything like Latin?” They ask as they pull one of the desserts towards them.

Cassiopeia drifted in and out, the gentle timbre of Nic's voice lulling her into a further relaxed state. She didn't open her eyes while he rinsed her hair. Cassi only moved again once Nic kissed her head.

She smiles, opening her eyes and blinking a few times until she could focus on Nic.

”Thank you, for everything,” she said. Cassi was going to have to make a list of everything Nic had done for her in the short time they'd known each other. Then think of a better way to thank him than saying it.

”I'll finish up while you're in the shower, then,” she declared.

Caden's fingers slowly moved up the inside of Nero's leg, following the same pattern Caden had started with at their knee. He pulled a dessert over and happily sampled it.

”I find it more like Spanish. They say if you learn Italian, Spanish, or French, the other two languages come quickly. They have similar patterns and words, they are just said a little differently, and more so depending on what type of the country you are in. When I'm in Italy, depending on where I am, I try to shift my tone to match the area,” he confessed.

Caden pulled a second dessert over and sampled back and forth between the two of them. He wiggled his toes in his shoes, the only sign of his pleasure at having so many delectable things in front of him.

Nic stands with an eyebrow cocked as he glances between Cass and the shower. He guesses it’s opaque enough that he wouldn’t be able to see her any better than she could see him. “Alright, let me grab a change of clothes.” He says with a soft chuckle, he crouches down again and gives Cass a kiss on the forehead before walking out of the bathroom and into his closet to grab the clothes.

Nic sets his change of clothes on the other sink before stepping into his shower, closing the door behind him before he starts undressing. “No peeking!” He calls out teasingly.

Nero narrows their eyes a little at Caden as he does his little tracing on their thigh, a blush creeping on their cheeks each time he goes inappropriately high. They know the two of them are obscured from view but the imp wants nothing more than to jump him in the middle of the restaurant.

“Mmm.” The hum of content emits from Nero’s throat as they happily wiggle in their seat and eat their dessert, momentarily forgetting that they were trying to admonish Caden for his behavior. “We should definitely visit here often.” They declare.

Cassiopeia followed Nic's line of sight and grinned. She honestly couldn't remember if he had another shower, but even if he did, he was glad he was going to stay close.

As usual, his forehead kiss warmed her and made her giggle.

She grabbed a cloth and started to wash her arms and the back of her neck when Nic walked back into the bathroom. Cassi noted that he walked into the shower fully clothed.

”You know, when people say no peeking, it makes the person want to peek all the more,” she said and looked at the shower.

It was opaque enough that all she could see were shadows. A violent image of a second person's shadow in that shower with Nic's silhouette flooded her mind, and she had to look away to clear her head from the image.

Caden's movements pushed Nero's skirt up slightly, even with how short it was already. He shifted his legs, blocking Nero's lower half from anyone who might be inclined to look over, and rested his hand high enough on Nero's leg that his fingers brushed their other leg without much effort. He kept his hand stationary for now, not wanting to push his self-control or Nero's further than he already was.

”I'll make sure we return then,” Caden said.

“Well maybe I’d like for you to ogle me.” Nic says as he tosses his clothes out and starts the water, choosing a cooler temperature than usual. He lets the water soak his hair first before he grabs shampoo and massage it into his scalp this time. Letting the shampoo sit on his scalp, Nic starts scrubbing at his body with soap.

Nero gives Caden a sidelong look before ignoring his hand and opting to eat more of the desserts. Their ears are the only thing giving away that Caden has any affect on them. “I think I’m at a tie between the log looking things and the caramel one.” They rest their hand close to the same area on Caden.
