Ana blinked and blushed a little. Then she jumped onto his back and held on. “Thank you Damien…I’m ready when you are”

Dante was fighting tooth and nail with the cursed one. Who was starting to shift into a much bigger wolf, a nasty acid spitting wolf. Dante blinked and said “well thats not good…I might be in a spot of trouble now…”

Damien nods as she hops on his back. He the takes off on all fours going as fast as he can. Seeing a large gap with a road in-between, Damien sprints just before jumping the long gap and making it across and continuing toward the bridge.

To be honest with himself, he missed being the wolf. Running and hunting. Letting himself just be. Tonight he had his prey to go after and he would help see this through.

For when they made it to the last building, he stopped to let Ana off his back before his would charge after this larger wolf, going for the tackle before the wolf could go after Dante anymore. Going for sinking his maw into the wolf's neck, though that may just merely annoy him. But atleast he would be less likely dealt any acid damage till he was ripped off.

The cursed roared and tried to get him off as Dante got up and was panting. “Thank the goddess you guys made it…” Ana ran forward and pulled the book free. “I just need a few minutes!” She opened the book with a flash and purple and silver lights flashed around them. Ana glowed as she cast her hand up and shadows shot around the cursed one to try and pin him down so she could find his name. But he was moving so much the spell couldn’t catch him.

Ana cursed and said “come on…I’m trying to help you…”

Damien was trying his best not to go for the kill despite what his instincts wanted of him when he considered the Cursed One his prey. But he had to hold on. To make himself seem like the threat and keep it's attention on him.

Damien then wrapped an arm around it's neck to the best of his abilities as he twisted himself and unlocked his toothy hold on the wolf. His attempt was to help wear the wolf out by now the means of choking the wolf to slow it down and not kill it. He would hold on the best he could while arms were locked in a choke hold.

Ana moved out of the way of a slash from the cursed one before Damien got a perfect hold on the beast. Ana moved and worked the spell again and her book flashed in a bright light and surrounded the curse one. She smiled softly and said “there it is…what a name…Conway, Hound of the Plain…now it makes sense. Take back your name my friend and be yourself once more!”

The magic flashed and the beast howled as the blackness burst from his body. Ana yelled “Damien move away now!”

It was as soon as Ana said to move away, Damien used him as a spring board to jump high bit not without getting some of the blackness substance got got on his furred arms. He lands a few feet from Ana. He looks at his arms wondering what this substance was.

The aura wrapped around his arm and then he heard a voice behind him “why hello there…will you give me your name?” When he looked the scene was all black with the night sky but the stars were blood red and a white figure stood there, like an outline person without shading. The figure had blood red eyes and reached for Damien.

“Will you give me your name? Then I can take your pain away?”

Damien felt himself freeze still in place as he felt a chilling voice. His instincts were in a mess. He wanted to run, but also wanted to fight. Being asked to give the creature his name, Damien didn't know what to think of with such a question. To give his name and take his pain away. What pain? He wasn't in any pain.

"What do you mean? I'm just fine!" He retorts. Then he realized something. What the voice asked. To give his name. Was this figure Panic Discord?

She moved around him from behind, her arms warm and static. “I can make you feel whole again…I can take the loneliness away…just give me your true name…your one of the strong ones…I have to ask…give it to me…”

Damien listened to the dangerous words before shaking his head vigorously. "No. No! I refuse! You can't have my name!!!" He decides with a glare in his eyes. There was no way he was going do this to himself and others around him.

The arms wrapped around him tightly as the voice called again “please give me your name…I will treasure it forever…” when she got closer to him there was a blast and Ana’s voice “no! He refused! That’s enough!” The void of blood stars vanished and soon Damien was laying on the bridge, Dante binding the now cured man laying face down. Ana had Damien’s head in her lap, breathing hard as she rested a hand on his cheek.

“Damien? Can you hear me? Are you alright?”

Damien growled low and dangerously as the figure had her arms tighten their hold and still trying to get ahold of his name again. About to voice his refusal was when he heard a familiar voice and felt the magic.

When his vision was changed, it was then that he realized laying on the bridge and still feeling himself as the wolf by his stature and his tail. What he noticed peculiar was that he saw Ana above him and by how he was laying, she had her legs used as a pillow. He was surprised alone that she had a hand on his cheek. For when Ana spoke that brought him back to reality.

"Huh? Wha?" Not having paid attention to what she had said but knew she said something.

Ana sighed with a smile and asked again “I was asking if you could hear me, if you were alright. Do you still feel like yourself? Are you hurt?”

Dante came over and said “you landed hard and then you were surrounded by that blackness. Lady Shade had to act fast to free you from it. You looked like you were about to give into that stuff”

Ana shook her head and said “no…he was fighting her…an impressive act that is for sure. Can you move?”

To test to see if he could, Damien began by lifting his head and looking around them. Next he turned on his side and with the support of his hands, he slowly sat up and sat criss-crossed and then hands in his lap.

"I wasn't sure what was going at first, but I'm fine. I guess that was Panic Discord that I met. She tried to have me give my name to her. I didn't realize at first but once I put two and two together was when I refused." He looks both Ana and Dante over for any injuries.

Dante was cut up from the fight, claw marks all over. Ana looked fine just pale and had been in a panic. Ana smiled and said “I’m glad you held out till I could break the link…it seems we have found how she latches onto people…”

Dante went over and said “the crappy part is that we didn’t have time to record the fight…”

Damien looked concerned on two accounts. One: the fact that Ana was pale. He wondered if she already used her strength and then some to get him free and cure the victim of being cursed. He would need to find a way to thank her. Two: they forgot about them capturing and doing the purifying the cursed one infront of the gate keeper. They got caught up I'm helping Dante.

"Oops...." his ears drooped, sulking from his actions.

There was clapping behind them and they turned. Three figures stood there and a blonde woman in all black said “have no fear my dears. We saw the whole thing. Seems he is truly cured. We can take him back to the manor and get him treated.”

Dante sighed and said “the Gate Keepers Hounds. Hybrids like Ana but vampire and human. They work to keep the peace.” One of the men, a black haired one, said “you guys put on a show. A lot of data collected tonight…especially thanks to you Purple Witch…” Ana had moved protectively in front of Damien, and she didn’t even notice she had done it.

Damien had turned to look to the sound of the clapping but enough that if he had to, he could react. To see someone step infront of him, he looked up to see it was Ana. He stood up slowly, standing behind Ana as if to be her shadow. A large shadow ready to pounce. "As long as this is enough to convince the Gatekeeper." He states calmly.

The woman nodded and said “we have it recorded as well with our Bats as well, he saw the whole thing thru them. You have nothing to worry about now. We have also have made sleeping arrangements for you two as well if you don’t have any already”
