I’ve taken a pretty long break from Roleplaying. Life happened. Wife happened. Now I’m here again! I’ve been Roleplaying for over 10 years, and I’ve decided to try to get back into writing again.
I write at a high casual to low advanced level, but I try to match my partner. This could be several paragraphs for intros and transitions to two or three paragraphs for more action packed scenes. Quality over quantity, as long as there’s effort and not one-liners.
I require my partners to be 18+ for maturity reasons. I’m in my 20’s myself. I write mature, adult themes in my writing. As for spicy things, I’m fine not writing them at all or fading to black. If it makes sense to write, we can discuss that, but it won’t be the focus of the role-play. I’m happily married, so I’m only doing what myself and my partner are both comfortable with. I normally play male, but can play either female or male characters and normally play multiple characters alongside a main character.
I at least try to write once a week; on days off I can write a couple times a day, it all depends. I have a full time job, a wife, and a few cats, so life can get busy. I’ll try to communicate, and I just wish for you to do the same. Life happens, and real life always comes first. I usually will communicate OOC and chat a bit when I can.
Genres
These are some of the genres I like to write about!
-General Fantasy scenarios (high fantasy, low fantasy, anything)
-Realistic, slice of life, but interesting scenarios
-Post Apocalypse/Zombie apocalypse
-Superhero/Supervillain (super hero academy/school is fun too. Anything with powers in general)
-Vampires (Or general supernatural nonsense)
-Medieval fantasy (DnD like, princesses and knights and magic)
-Videogames (Last of Us, Final Fantasy, BG3, I’m familiar with a lot of games)
-Fandoms in general
-A lot more
The Thicc Plots
Here are some ideas I already have fleshed out. I’m happy to use these ones or alter them in any way.
The story takes place at the most prestigious hero academy in the world. It’s the equivalent of college, but for those looking to work in the hero industry. Most are students with some of the most potential to be great heroes, with unique and extraordinary powers, while some are students who want to work alongside and with heroes in the background, who are bright and exceptional in their own right.
One main character would be at the top of their class, a prodigy recognized all over the school and poised to be one of the top superheroes in the world. High expectations, all eyes watching. The other main character would be the opposite. They’re a nobody. Whether by sheer luck, accident, mistake, they made it into the college. Maybe they have a power that has yet to develop, looks weak at first, or they don’t know how to control it. They slowly rise up to stand toe to toe with the best of the best in their class.
The setting is loosely based on Last of Us, using their zombies. The world has been in ruins for years, most of civilization being wiped out. All that remains is a few stragglers, gangs, and groups scattered throughout the wasteland that was formerly America. Our characters are in New Haven, a dictatorship walled-off city where the elite few rule over the many. They harshly police the population, setting harsh rules and even harsher punishments. Public beatings and executions are commonplace, and rations are always low.
One main character will work for this corrupt government, either fully believing in the corruption and tyranny, or perhaps unwillingly acting as part of this group. The other main character will be a survivor, one of the civilians looking for a way to get out of the prison that is New Haven. When all goes to shit, the two team to survive in the harsh world outside the walls.
This takes place in a high fantasy medieval setting, although optional for no fantasy elements. The plot goes that a tyrannical king has ruled over the land for quite some time. Selfish, war mongering, he has planned to invade the neighboring kingdoms to grow his empire.
One of the main characters will be the child of this king, which could either be a devout, faithful child to the cause, whether blindly or full knowing what he does, or perhaps is a bit skeptical of his ways. The other main character will be the leader of a rebellion group, who kidnaps the child of the king for ransom in an attempt to stop the war. When the two meet, chaos ensues.
This plot is a pretty basic idea. Our two characters will be part of an adventurer’s guild, an anime/D&D staple. Taking odd jobs and quests to make gold and a name for themselves, rising in the ranks. Within a town full of adventurers, within a country teeming with treasure and danger, there’ll never be a dull moment. Will it be full of many whimsical adventures, or is there a darker, more sinister plot behind it all?
I do have an D&D campaign that I DMed and write myself that I can draw some heavy inspiration from as far as the setting and plot goes, but I’m also open to making our own along the way.
This is just a group of fandoms I wouldn’t mind basing some roleplays off of.

I’m fine with playing canon characters with a good enough reason. I’m also down to just make an Alternate Universe based on these settings with our own OC. There’s probably more I’m missing, but these are some that I enjoy that come to mind.
A healthy mix of drama, action, romance is always nice. I can do gritty and dark, to fun and wholesome. I’ll pretty much write anything as long as it’s interesting and we’re both having fun. I’ve done a ton of writing in the past and can suggest ideas, I’m open to ideas you have, and I’m also more than happy to come up with one together. This is just to give an idea of things I’ve done in the past and enjoy. I like a healthy mix of myself and my fellow writer to both help move the story along.
