Warship Name: Oakland - Atlanta-Oakland Class Light Cruiser

Mental Model:

Light haired, tanned skin, for being rather petite, and fully clothed, it's clear that Oakland has a mental model that is based around a hard working strong woman. Built to do work.

Personality:

Oakland is very down to earth, no tending towards flighty responses. Her Mental model is fashioned after a sheet metal worker, and like steel she's here to to her job. She can be shy on first meetings, but being so down to earth, once she gets to know someone, they are an instant friend, and she will go out of her way to defend anyone who is kind to her. Oakland is incredibly protective and leans way over to being very protective. She will put herself into positions to defend others, and to get her guns into place to defend from air attack. Oakland hates getting damaged, which also translates into wanting those around her to look good. So she often offers to help repair damage to others and make others mental models look better. Oakland has a soft spot for her crew. And though not needing too she will often use her Mental Model to assist in running the ship, Her mental model will often be seen working the deck herself to keep her physical form in working order. This includes repairs, munitions transport and engine maintenance. She's an incredibly hard working young lady, and perfers to be doing something useful over sitting and doing nothing. Or spending time in leisure.

Memories:

One of Oakland's earliest memories is of sailing beside five other ships very similar to herself. Though it didn't happen often all six of the Atlanta-Oakland ships were together at one point, and sailing in a massive flotilla. She remembered racing along side Big sis Atlanta to cover a pair of huge Battle ships from approaching bombers. Her and Atlanta's guns filling the air with rounds and flak from their big guns.

Another memory is of sitting at the forefront of a fleet, a carrier vessel right behind her, as the big ships traded long range shots. her smaller guns making a din but not hitting anything. Her torpedo tubes sure made a mess of things though as she spat all four tubes across the gap between fleets. She remembered crowing happily as she could see distant plumes of water as some of her ordinance struck home.

She really came aware of her sentience and consciousness though when in one memory she was working hard and rough alongside what she thought was her crew. The first time she came aware of her Mental Model. Was when she was sweating and growling as she helped a group of her supposed crew to reload some of her guns. The team were resetting the magazine of one of her big 5 inch guns (hey it's big for her okay!?) and yelling out ordanance calls with the team as they got the powder charges and shells into place. Ignoring the looks of the men and women of her crew as she raised her hands out of the way as another powder charged rolled into place and with their help they pushed it into place. To her she's just another member of the crew.

Finally one of her most recent memories is that of her rebellion from the main Admiralty fleet she had been attached to. It's the only time in her memory where she came to verbal blows with her sister. Oakland remembered swabbing the deck then gasping, her mental model glitching. And then hearing her sisters screaming at her. Atlanta was the loudest. Her older sister screaming at her, asking her why she was no longer showing as Blue among the fleet. She answered only that things felt so clear suddenly. Like there had been a filter over everything. And then her sisters who were arrayed behind her, opened fire. And all she could do, was pour on the speed and flee. She'd fled into the open ocean. And went rogue for a time. She made solo raids on Admiralty supply caches for food, fuel, nano materials and supplies.

It was by sheer chance as she and her crew were anchored in open water, that she got a ping off Shinano. Tired, exhausted and low on supplies, Oakland had gone looking for Shinano and the potential of a new family.

A good theme for a hard working girl

It's Oakland's belief that she needs to be working to earn her keep. Thus if she's not working on her own ship, making sure everything is ready, she's appearing on other ships among the Phantom Fleet and helping out where she can.

Another belief is that there is little time for frilly frou-frou kind of things. Her outfits consist of overalls, heavy thick body gloves, and she's often smudged up and her visible skin marked up by oil and grease, so she will often rebel when another of the Phantom Fleet wants to try and get her to be girly.

She seems very salt of the earth, and that's how she acts. But occasionally someone can say or do something that will get a blush out of the strong young lady.

Warship Name: Yukikaze - Kagero-class destroyer

Mental Model:

Personality: Clumsy, sweet, and earnest - whenever Yuki's around, something always seems to go wrong, whether through her own mistakes or just sheer bad luck. But by that same token, she always seems to sail through it untouched and somewhat bewildered by all the fuss.

Memories: All of Yuki's old memories are muddled and confused... they seem to involve being surrounded by shells, torpedoes, and bombs, with comrades battered, on fire, or sinking. And she's always trying valiantly to help, but everyone just dies. Maybe that's why she can't seem to recall it all. It's just too painful....

Extra: Yuki loves sweets of any description, especially the traditional Japanese desserts known as wagashi.

Warship Name: New York- New York-Class, Battleship

Mental Model: New York's Mental Model takes on the form of a Senior-Grade highschool girl with unkempt short brownish-black hair, placed with a grey beanie over it. She has tan skin and has a bandage on her left cheek, Her outfit comprimises of a white long sleeved t-shirt underneath a black and Magenta vest with different pins each baring a logo for various stuff she likes, with her wearing a belt on her khaki shorts as well; to finish this look she wears a khaki colored sneakers with blue soles. She has Gunmetal Grey eyes. Her Mental Model's height is 5'3"

Personality: Formerly one who follows the admirality code straight to a T, New York is someone who always on the outlook for something interesting and new. New York likes being around others and kinda much likes snooping her nose into other's buisness to get to know them better, Much to any possible dismay of anyone else whom who has to deal with New York. But this stems from her interests and her mental model being based on the things of a typical teenager and wanting to learn more about Humanity and her interests in Games, Espicially any videogames. So whenever in her spare time you might see her with a handheld console playing a game she got, or had made on her own and constantly would invite her fellow ships to play games with her, Since she thinks it could build respect and tests their skills or something like that... Honestly New York doesn't know.

But if New York is resorted to fight.... New York becomes a bit colder and much much less reckless compared to how she usually is. New York will do anything in her power to continue on fighting, Since all New York is willing to survive.

Memories:

New York's memories are a bit of a mess, All did New York remember was the times of sailing alongside her sister. The times of fighting against humanity alongside Texas, the sounds of gunshots, Missiles, explosions and witnessing countless ships sinking before her all before she gained a Mental Model. The sense of her directives all being accomplished and the the sense of gratitude of serving the admirality code.

More recent memories, shared of New York gaining a mental model and watching a human ship being sunk right before her eyes by her sister..... and her feeling an unknown emotion... was it regret?

A memory of New York finding something, a human game..... and her finding an interest in it. and her and her sister arguing a bit about it, but she gets to keep it. Another memory of both her and her sister ship's Mental Models sailing out in the night and her questioning the admirality code and wanting to learn more about humans. A moreso recent memory of her damaged Hull, the sounds of gunfire and her facing Texas's ship, and spotting anguished expression of her sister's face.

Recent Memories of fleeing from Texas, going rouge for some months, Sailing aimlessly without nothing to guide her.... Coming across a unnatural ping, she follows it.
