<Snipped quote by Legend>
*Flinches, causing cheese balls to briefly fly into the air*
Huh? Oh yeah, sure. Wrong movie to sneak up on me.
Sorry. We're in a rush.

*Flinches, causing cheese balls to briefly fly into the air*
Huh? Oh yeah, sure. Wrong movie to sneak up on me.
<Snipped quote by Legend Begins>
Sorry. We're in a rush.
<Snipped quote by Legend>
Really?
*Tosses the device behind me while I pause the movie with my other hand, frozen on a foggy, rotted hallway*
Where's Vi?
<Snipped quote by Legend Begins>
She stuck around on the other world. She sort of found out who your old dad was, aaaaaaand...
<Snipped quote by Legend>
Oh. Yeah. I get it. No problem.
<Snipped quote by Legend Begins>
Well, um. Awkwardness aside, I'll be going and thanks for the tool.
<Snipped quote by Legend>
*Waves with my free hand and clicks back onto the movie just as a jumpscare strikes*
Sure. Just call me when you're coming back and I'll make sure I hit the road before she gets here.
<Snipped quote by Legend>
*Walks into the open space by the first station, closing the portal behind me and letting out an exhausted sigh before glancing around again*
<Snipped quote by Blueflame>
A professor, really? Of what?
<Snipped quote by Legend Begins>
Thanks! I think.
*Holds the polyhedronous piece of technology under my arm as I give you an awkward high five from behind*
I'll let you know how it goes.
<Snipped quote by Audacious>
*Warps back to the base station*
<Snipped quote by Legend>
*Is standing with one hand on my hips near the lip of the crater I dug on our first trip*
You got it?
<Snipped quote by Audacious>
*Raises the machine above my head with both hands*
Victory is ours!
<Snipped quote by Legend>
*Raises a fist over my own head to match*
Let’s gooo!
*Turns around toward the crater and pecks at my phone*
I was trying to see if Dad had any options for signal tracking. Either I’m just really dumb, or we’re gonna have to comb the area carefully for minor rifts. I think the good news would be that since these are holes in space that I can only assume are opened regularly if they exist, that the tears should stay fresh for longer? I think?
*Walks around the crater, in particular near the derelict equipment*
It’s all just me assuming things. I don’t actually know how this stuff works in practice.
<Snipped quote by Webmaster>
combat and self defense mostly, trying to show my students they don't have to fear their gifts. That they could learn to trust themselves
<Snipped quote by Audacious>
*Shrugs*
As far as I get it, all of them are sending signals to other random stations. I don't know why or how that does anything. But maybe it means it's as common as we need it to be.
<Snipped quote by Legend>
It has to source from somewhere, right? If the signals being sent out were always random then I feel like that doesn’t really… Achieve the goal, right? The end of the line, on one end or the other, would have to be your home.
*Holds my phone out in front of me, aiming it at and angling it toward the manmade bits in the crater*
<Snipped quote by Audacious>
*Turns on Artemis' device in tandem and waves it around in my hands*
Mmmmmm... nothing too terribly strong.
<Snipped quote by Legend>
It doesn’t seem that way. I’m afraid to just assume it’s not there and miss it though.
<Snipped quote by Audacious>
Yeah. Maybe we can amplify them somehow? I don't know, just spitballing.
<Snipped quote by Legend>
I don’t know how to do anything like that.
<Snipped quote by Audacious>
I thought your power was energy amplification or something.
