Jen and Aura is wondering who will battle both Calorex.

Liam had also backed up when Shiranui gave the warning.

Froslass was quite surprised to see both Calyrex appear to tame each horse. "Well, I guess two of you will get a chance" She said with a smile before bringing up a barrier to protect everyone.

"Which of us wants a mounted Calyrex?" Shiranui asked.

“Do we get to battle one of the horse Pokémon,” Jen ask as her Pokémon are ready to battle.

"Apparently Calyrex is trying to be one with their mounts," Shiranui speculated, "We may be battling both at once."

"That seems to be the case," Liam commented.

“So it will be a double be a double battle,” Jen said as she wonders if Fuyu will goin the battle.

"We still gotta decide who will do the battles," Liam said.

"How?" Shiranui asked, knowing that the odd person would miss out, "Roll a die, janken*, draw straws?"

"Janken could work," Liam commented.

The three took their positions and chanted, "Jan, ken, pon!" On pon, Liam shot rock, Shiranui shot paper and Jen shot scissors—a deadlock tie. It was on the second round when the decision was made as Liam shot paper and Shiranui and Jen both shot scissors.

“Which which Calorex do you want to battle,” Jen ask Liam?

Frolass would move the barrier back slightly to protect her and Shinranui leaving an opening for Jen and Liam to leave when ready. "Good luck, after this, I'll show you the way to the poucher base of Galar" Frolass said.

The two Calyrex have successfully tamed their mounts and have turned towards Liam and Jen.

Jen did not know which one will charge at her but she is prepare for a battle.

After a pregnant pause, the Ice Rider Calyrex addressed Jen. "Sightless one, prepare for battle," they warned before charging at her. The Shadow Rider Calyrex charged at Liam, only to make a sudden turn towards Shiranui.

"Yoto, en garde!" Shiranui called his shiny Aegislash out and Shadow Rider Calyrex halted with a flourish before launching their signature move, Astral Barrage. "Yoto, Wide Guard!" The Aegislash conjured a hexagonally-segmented barrier that blocked the ghosts. "Night Slash!" Calyrex used Confuse Ray and let off a flash of bright light, rendering Yoto confused. Yoto tried to attack, but hurt himself in confusion. Vulnerable to another hit, Yoto was ensnared by a Leech Seed from Calyrex before taking further damage from his confusion. Confident of taking down Shiranui's kingmaker, Calyrex was about to fire another Astral Barrage before Yoto (in Blade Forme) struck a critical hit with Night Slash. "Ultra Ball, go!" Shiranui threw an Ultra Ball and the ball drew both Calyrex and Spectrier in. For one of the longest minutes in Shiranui's life, the ball was shaking violently until it eventually stopped and pinged a successful capture.

Shiranui picked up the ball and gave the newest addition to his team the name Shuukaku.
