Cora felt relieved by that and had admit she felt foolish for thinking such a thing. But she had to admit that she wouldn't have been able to think of anything else since she knew little compared to them.

Yami felt completely relieved plus he hadn't thought of the link to Apep. He hadn't thought that there was one between Drake and Apep. But it made sense. "I understand now. That. I can do. It would still require to enter his mind. It would make sense for Adam to be there."

Yami looked over to Dartz when he entered. "It's seems Apep got creative. Adam should be alright as soon as we see Drake."

Dartz frowned and walked in, kneeling down by them and said “I see it…we should get him some food first. May I come along? I was planning on going anyway…”

Serena was thinking and muttered to herself “is this why…the ones taken can’t break free?”

Yami nodded to Dartz. "Understandable. I wouldn't see the harm of tagging along." Having thought he heard Serena, looks at her. "Is something the matter?" He asks.

"Will you be okay Adam?" Cora asks him, standing up to offer him a hand if he needed it.

Adam took her hand to stand up and said “I believe so…thanks for fixing me up. I hope it wasn’t draining for you?”

Serena looked at him and said “it’s making me wonder…if someone is beaten…that’s when the link to Apep is made? With those wands?”

Adam smiled and said “that’s smart thinking. Yugi seems to jump the gun a little fast…” Dartz was looking around the room and said “dear…you had a rough night I take it…”

Serena nodded and said “we need to talk to Marik. I am wondering about something Tristen was telling me about…but I don’t think it will be a comfortable question…” Adam looked over and asked “what is that?”

Serena sighed “how did he hold control over a persons mind with the rod like he did with Tea?”

Cora wondered maybe she could pass on her finding to Yugi. For now they needed to figure out what they were going to do.

With a hum, Yami didn't think it was a comfortable either which he understood. "He may not find it comfortable, but he may answer as well."

Serena stood up and said “I’m worried that Adam was attacked thru his link with Drake…but I need to speak to the experts in the matter”

Adam smiled weakly at Dartz and said “I’ll be alright thanks to you guys…” he started to get up, still shaking a bit.

Adam looked at her and smiled softly “thank you dear…” Dartz moved over to help as well, Serena watching with a soft smile. Then she followed Yami and moved to catch his hand on the stairs. “Are you alright?”

Serena frowned then moved and cupped Yamis face in her hands, her eyes full on concern. At the top of the stairs the others appeared but Dartz stopped them seeing the couple. He smiled softly and said quietly “let’s give them a moment…”

Serena said “I will ask him in a way that won’t make him uncomfortable. It’s mainly for research truly. To see if there is a way a link of minds can be used by an outside source…he would know better then anyone…I know you care for your family darling. I won’t let them be in any kind of pain if I can help it”

To when they walked in the dining hall he could see everyone looked halfway or done with their breakfast. "Sorry we're late." Cora said with a small goofy grin.

"Yeah. Adam needs to eat is all. Woke up on the wrong side of the bed." Cora knew that was semi true but details were for anyone who wanted them and not hers to give. She helped Adam to a seat before before sitting down herself.

Seto eyed Adam to see that he was roughed up a little but otherwise fine. "As long as you're alright then there shouldn't be anything to worry about. Skeptical but he always was till satisfied.

Adam nodded as he sat down and Yami and Serena walked in. “Morning all. Umm Marik? Can I ask a question? It’s about when you were master of the rod…” she tried to word it in a way to not make it sound negative at all
