I am new here and I am a huge fan of Dragon Age and Fantasy Theme rps, I have a couple ideas I got from the game Dragon Age The Veilguard but I made it where you don't need to play the game to understand the story. I will post my two ideas and see where it goes, hopefully this isn't against the rules but it is the Rp Discussion board so figured this was the best place. I am a detailed rper since I have been writing since I was about sixteen so a lot has changed over the years on how people rp I have noticed. The Heart of The Death Mage - Your character is a Necromancer, and he is in his 50's but still looks rather young, you have the ability to talk to the dead and you work at a huge chapel that the dead walk the halls in and actually help take care of the place and it's staff. You have a rare gift called Corpse Whispering where you can speak with the dead, it was not a skill you used very much but you use it to help people when the skill is needed. When he meets my character there is an immediate attraction on both sides, but due to the age difference he doesn't say anything. They met out in a forest around the chapel of the dead while she was trying to practice her skills as a mage. She had just gotten her magic and was trying to figure out how to use it, since he is skilled in magic he decides to become her teacher.
They get closer, both flirt but again age stops him from saying anything about the attraction, he finds out she is in love with him when they are both in danger. They were surrounded by thieves that wanted what they had on them. Your character is wounded from the attack even though she had only been practicing her magic a good six months she uses her love for him as her main source of power and surrounds the two of them in a protective shield and with a wave of her hand throws the bad guys far always from them. When he looks into her eyes he can see love despite the age difference.
Once emotions run high and love is spoken of the relationship gets deeper, unfortunately there is a group of rouge mages that are very evil and use blood magic (Which yes, it is as it sounds they use blood as a main source of magic). She ends up getting kidnapped and that's where he does the most honorable and powerful thing, he can be sure he can find her and be her protector his fellow Necromancer's perform a special rite where he becomes undead BUT not a zombie or anything like that. He will pretty much be a skeleton wearing the outfit of a mage, doing this he becomes powerful but also immortal. He did this out of love and desperation and does not regret it. Only issue is he has what they call a glamour, he looks the same and when she touches him, she feels skin, and this is how they end up having sex which he can still feel.
He doesn't think ahead or anything and when he saves her, she sees a skeleton wearing his clothing and where eyes should be they glow (Think Ghost Rider, Red when pissed and blue when around her) Sacrificing everything knowing he could lose her but he didn't want her to die. She will know it’s him because of the robes but also because of the way she feels around this skeleton and seeing the eyes change color. Besides fighting off this group that kidnapped her because she will become a powerful mage so he will end up finding a ring or a spell that makes her immortal. He will find a way to make her immortal unfortunately due to her power and blood she will be hunted. Even he could feel the power within her when they first met.
I figure when she touches him its when he will activate his glamour so she can feel him and he can feel her touch since he loves her touch so much.
Note: Anything can happen with this and like to swap ideas.
Demon Of Pandora - You play a man who is a very powerful assassin and while you were on a job you were set up by your brother who wanted the family power and wealth to himself. You were supposed to be killed but you were kidnapped and jailed. You were taken by a very powerful mage where she puts a demon inside your body, the demon of spite. My character works for this mage and she is only working for this mage to try and stop her. Her brother was kidnapped and a demon put into him, but he died while she was doing it. So, she wants payback, and the best way is to blend in, our characters have seen one another every day for a year but the demon inside him knows she is a good person. Sadly, she couldn’t make her move for a year, so he was stuck there for a year, but they grew close, secretly.
Now to control the demon in him they took a sample of his blood so they can control him, making him do the mage’s bidding. But one day she comes in with the vial of his blood and throws it onto the ground in front of him, now that the vial was destroyed, he could move freely and not worry about anyone controlling him (But spite of course) She frees him and in return he kills his mark and gets her out of there. Now he has no clue his brother betrayed him, but she will help him uncover what happened. While they do, he ends up falling in love with her, he may be about 10 years older than her not that it’s a big deal, so he acts on his feelings for her.
When Spite is in control his eyes glow there is no mutating of the body or anything like that, and when he uses his ability as an assassin, he has wings that come out. They are black but made of some kind of energy. If she was to touch them, she could feel warmth and humming, and he will be able to feel her hand on them as well as spite. He likes to hold her in his arms with his wings wrapped around them. He has no idea what she sees in a assassin but they do love each other.
I love peoples input so it's not just all my idea we use.
