Cora seemed to think about what Odion suggested. It seemed like a good idea. She pulled her head up from her backpack and looked thoughtful. "Its....worth a shot. Thank you." She said with a small smile. She hoped her aunt would believe it.

"I'm sure we can figure it out. It should be a good start at least." Marik said hoping to cheer him up.

Yami glanced to Serena seeing her in deep thought. He placed a hand on her knees in silent support.

Dartz smiled and said “I hope I can be useful…I don’t want to be a burden to you all…”

Yugi smiled and nodded as Odion said “and you’re not even lying. My words are true in a sense”

Serena blinked and looked over and smiled. “Sorry, went into my own world again didn’t I?”

Marik gave him a knowing smile. "It will be alright. We all have our part to play. Your helping us protect friends."

"A little. But it's alright." Yami assures.

Cora nods as she glances to Yugi and smiles widens. About 15 minutes they arrived to the house Cora had shown on the map. With a deep breath, Cora thanks Seto and making her way out of the limo and steps forward. Seto rolls down the window he was near. "Call when your ready to be picked up." He tells Cora casually before rolling up the window. Cora nodded to Kaiba and looks back at her house.

Darts nodded and said “I have much to make up for…so much…I don’t even really expect them to forgive me really…”

Serena sighed and said “just trying to wrap my head around everything…and I keep getting these flashes…”

Yugi nodded and said “will do. Let us know if anything come up” he ran to catch up to Cora and said “ready? Anything I should know about your aunt?”

Marik placed a hand on the King of Atlantis' shoulder. "It will be alright. As long as your heart is in the right place and learned from the past, what you do now is what counts. That's what matters."

"What kind of flashes?" Yami asks confused.

The limo drives off while Cora's back pack slung on her shoulders. "Other than a mother hen? She can be a hugger. Aunt Kyoki cherishes family."

'Especially after what happened....' Was left unspoken.

Cora takes the first step to her house. She opens the gates and invites Yugi onto the property before going to the front door and opened it. "Aunt Kyoki! I'm home! I brought a friend!" She called out as she slipped her shoes off and set her bag aside before stepping onto the wooden floors.

Her aunt scurried toward living room once they made it there and hugged her niece like she was going to vanish. "Oh my sweet niece! Welcome home!"

After a moment of silence and a small reunion, Cora breaks away softly and looks to Yugi. "Aunt Kyoki? This is Yugi Motou. One of my new friends."

Kyoki walks over toward Yugi and bows her head in welcome. "It is a pleasure to meet a friend of my sweet Niece!" She raises her head. "Please call my Kyoki, Mr Motou." She explains with a motherly smile.

Dartz sighed and said “I hope you’re right…the things I did…what that snake made me do…” he lowered his head and Odion looked over.

Serena rubbed her temples and said “I’m not sure…I keep seeing images of what looks like battles…fighting…”

Yugi nodded and slipped his shoes off as well, looking around the house. He smiled at her aunt and said “please just call me Yugi. It’s a pleasure to meet you”

"I understand. All we can do is what we do now Dartz. If we want to change we must think about what we can do now and not what we did." Marik explains,

Yami wondered what this meant or at least why this was happening. He wondered if this was because of what him and Bane did last night in searching through her past so Yami could remember.

"Well Yugi, I'm glad my dear Cora has found friends." She then turns to her niece whom she gives a stern look. "I hope you ready to tell me why you didn't call me that were staying at a friend's house?" Kyoki questioned which Cora felt guilty.

"It's not their fault auntie, it was mine. I just....got too excited and focused on my new friends. Getting to know them is all." She explained, knowing it wasn't a lie. "I just....I got invited to a Dueling Tornament and I just couldn't say know. It'll be for a week and really wanna go. I'll even try and call every night so you know I'm okay. Promise." She went on.

Kyoki seemed to think it over clearly hesitant. But with a sigh conceded. "Alright. I just," reaching over and taking the young girl's hand. "Don't want to see you hurt or worse. You know why I worry."

Cora nods understandably. "I know. I'll be careful. I just need to pack some clothes and stuff for the tournament."

Kyoki nods before letting her run along. "Yugi, may I talk to you a moment?" She asks inviting him to sit on one of the two couches. Cora wasn't sure if she should stay or go but Kyoki made that up for her and motioned her to go. So Cora went upstairs to her room. Once in her room she grabs her bag and sits down. She carefully unattached her leg and tends to her stub with fresh ointment and letting it breathe.

Dartz looked at Marik and said “I’m sorry…I’m the last person you should have to give advice too…I mean…you’ve been thru so much worse then my little mess…”

Serena looked at him and said “what’s that gaming mind thinking now love?”

Yugi nodded and followed her, sitting down. “Don’t worry, I and my friends will make sure she is safe the whole time. And I’ll remind her to call. I call my grandpa every night too so we can call at the same time”

"Don't be sorry. Yours was no little mess." Marik said

Yami looked to Serena to acknowledge her. "Oh. I'm just hoping what Bane did hadn't caused this." He hoped.

Kyoki sat down and smiled. "Thank you. I am just glad she was able to find some friends. She was quite lonely during most of her school years. Sadly it was ever since she lost her parents. I know it should be her story to tell but I just want to make sure she has friends who judge her, even for her social awkwardness." She explains.

Dartz sighed and said “yes but it was all my mess…I made things go so wrong…”

Serena raised an eyebrow and said “what did he do exactly?”

Yugi said “I would never judge anyone for their past or their traits…I’m a pretty shy guy most of the time”

"I understand in a way. But now we look forward. Give me an idea about Altantian magic. How would it work when you said you could help protect them?" Marik asks.

"He was showing me the past. But also events that were leading up what had been happening and their similarities and differences. He had last shown me a battle where you had gotten overprotective after a fight you had with a cultist. Later to find out I needed to seal some of your powers because they had become overwhelming. We have a few theories as to what is maybe happening from last night when you fought Timeaus to protect me and when you lashed out at Kaiba for questioning me." Yami explains to her in hopes she would not be mad.

Kyoki nods in understanding. "I am glad she has found a friend in you then Yugi Motou. I hope you can help her grow and see what it means to have true friends to cherish." She looks toward the stairs before getting up. "I'm going to set up a lunch for her. Would you check in on her for me?" Cora's Aunt asks with a warm smile.

Within her room she it shows she is not where when Yugi goes upstairs. The shower can be heard turning off from a room away from hers. Resting about her bed is a metal leg prosthetic with her sock covering the foot.

Dartz looked up and said “oh it’s simple. I would call on the spirits of the sea to make a barrier around those in need of protecting. I would ask the knights as well to place a seal to alert of any dangers”

Serena listened then thought for a moment. “It would explain why my powers only started up after meeting you again here…and I always feel a rush when your in any kind of danger…”

Yugi nodded and said “of course” he went upstairs and found her room empty so he waited by the window, wanting her to see him first when she came in. He looked at her leg and said “I should ask Seto about this…maybe he knows about the ins and outs of these limbs…in case anything happens I want to be able to help”

Marik was impressed. A different version of Egyptian magic but impressive none the less. "And the knights your referring to is the Dragon Knights?" He asks.

"We believe so too. It got me thinking to and your permission to check on the seal. Unless you feel ready to wield. Such abilities. It would be better to release bits at a time." Yami told Serena. "But then I wondered if by chance I could check on Drake and maybe check his soul room and how he's recovering."

Cora hobbled into the room dressed in jeans and a tanktop when she noticed Yugi and was surprised to see him in her room. But more over he had seen her leg. Had felt a wave of embarrassment and was speechless. Cora looked away while leaning on the doorframe, her wet bangs hiding her blue eyes. "I-I..." The words dying in her throat as quick as they came.

He nodded and said “they were the ones to come find me in the afterlife actually…”

Serena said “we should check the seal…but let’s help Drake first…” she paused and asked “can you check the soul room of someone…whose soul isn’t there?”

Yugi looked up, face the same as he asked “Cora? Do you have to maintain your leg yourself? I was wondering if maybe Seto might have some ways to keep your leg up to speed with all going on. I couldn’t bare if you were hurt and i couldn’t help in some way.”

Marik seemed confused. He looked toward his sister Ishizu knowing she was more well versed in the spirit realm than he was, including their history. He looked back over to Dartz. "I've never heard of Monster Spirits finding those in the afterlife."

That was a good question Yami hadn't considered or tried. He could tell if someone was soulless. "I don't know. I could try. Why?" Yami asks her curiously.

She almost couldn't seemed to process why someone was asking about her leg. It wasn't a conversation that she got if at all. Cora was always bullied for it and became her shame and misery that she learned to hide. She after all the incidents was able to get a change in school uniform but some still knew and teased or made fun of her. So to be asked about her leg in this calm manner was foreign to her. Alien even.

"Why...?" 'do you care? Why do want to help? Why? Why?' Cora asks though more she wanted to ask but he voice betrayed her. Of everything she had a list of questions, Cora was all her brain could process and speak out. Not understanding what Yugi wanted of her.

Ishizu said “it’s not uncommon for the gods to send duel monsters to other realms. I mean, they come to the human realm as massagers right?”

Serena looked away and muttered “Aaron…I want to know if…he is in there or not…”

Yugi blinked and said “why do I want to know? Well you’re my friend. I want to be able to help if anything comes up. I’m sure the others would agree. Anything could happen during this fight. You’re too important not to”

"Fair enough. You have a point sister. I'm glad they have though." Marik stated with a smile.

Yami gives Serena's knee a comforting squeeze. "I can check for you and see."

Cora was so use to being alone. Having little company and mainly herself. To have someone who truly seemed to care shocked her. She didn't know what to do. Tears were streaming down her face as her shoulders shook. "I didn't think I was important for anyone besides Aunt Kyoki....."

Dartz looked at him and said “you do? I fear I have just upset the others by being here”

Serena smiled and nodded. Then asked “do you really think…Aaron and Mahad are the same soul?”

Yugi blinked then moved over and hugged her tightly, rubbing her back.

Marik shrugged. "I have learned can't appease them all and right now they are choosing sides. There is only so much that can be done.

Yami looks to where his hand rested on Serena's knee. "It would make sense. But I am not completely certain."

Cora's ginger hair was a little damp from the shower when Yugi hugged her. She stiffened from the contact but it was a contact that broke her walls. Trying not to put her full weight into Yugi, she wrapped her arms around him and cried. She missed it so much. To have people call her a friend, to have those interactions and moments that built a friendship. Though how they became friends was not exactly normal but it was a bond forged in friendship none the less.

Dartz sighed softly then asked in a low voice “do most seem like they are going to give me a chance?”

Serena nodded and said “it seems crazy…Mahad is dark magican right? It’s so confusing…”

Yugi held her tightly, taking her weight as she cried. He rubbed her back in circles, trying to copy what yami does for him in his weak moments. “It’s alright Cora…I’m not going anywhere…”
