Heyo, no problem, but you may want to take a closer look at the posts that came before in the combat round.

Also, in PF2e, when you make multiple attacks in the same turn, you take a Multiple Attack Penalty (MAP). You get a -5 to your second attack and -10 to your third and more. Likely to encourage players to do different things in combat than just attacking over and over. So funnily enough, I think both of your attacks would be the same result xD

The Agile weapon trait reduces the MAP to -4 and -8 respectively though~

Yeah I included the MAP in it, +6 on the sling bullet, down to +1 on the frost vial. I'm just trying to squeeze this out before I collapse

Still tho, the posts that came before have been spent pacifying the beetles at Saur's request via the ichor on the desk. Starfinger doesn't have to adhere to that of course, feel free to shoot if you want to~ But one of the beetles you're aiming at was already pacified on the previous GM post, so if you want to make both shots at Flash Beetle 2, then that should fix your problem.

Should I wait for this situation to resolve before posting? What Ele does depends on what Starfinger decides to do in the end (aka whether attacking the pacified beetles was intentional on clanjos's part)

Hey gang.

I'm going to be posting pictures of battlemaps like I would if we were sitting at a table together. To that end, would you all please customize a token on this website (free): tools.2minutetabletop.com

To use this link, just put some search terms like "elf witch" in the top search bar and something should come up. Then you can tweak the colors to your heart's content.



When you have the token, you can either reply in OOC or PM me the image and I can load it into Foundry to place your character on the map for the combat.

I'll only use maps for encounters, that way we're not chained to it, but I feel like it could help with orienting where characters and enemies are on the battlfield.


Just a reminder that you can feel free to provide a token image for your character! The link in this post might be a good place to start, but any image will do!

As for Ele's actions, it looks like with 25ft move speed he could either get on top of the desk where the ichor is, or he could get next to (adjacent to) Flash2, just North of Jenk's square. If Ele moves North of Jenk, he won't be able to reach the ichor :(. If he strides on top of the desk, then he would be able to reach the ichor (careful of glass :D) AND present it to Flash2.

What are your thoughts on that?

Action set 1:
1. Move to the desk (not on top of)
2. Get the Ichor
3. Move to North of Jenk's square

Action set 2:
1. Move on top of the desk
2. Get the ichor
3. Present the ichor to Flash2

Or something else!

Right! Hmm, so would set 1 mean he wouldn't be able to present the ichor yet? As in, is offering it up an action? I can't see him climbing atop the desk in all honesty, so then perhaps--

1) Move to the desk (not on top of)
2) Get the ichor (scoop some up into a makeshift paper cup?)
3) Carefully toss the papercup closer to the beetle so it can help itself

or

1) Move to the desk (not on top of)
2) Get the ichor (scoop some up with the paper)
3) Shove the paper into Jenk's hands (since he's in the next square over) so they can help themselves to it from there

He'd be very pleased with either option because it keeps him away from the insect. Would either work?

@Vertigo Both would definitely work! Your imagination is the limit.

Here's what I see for set 1:

1) Move to the desk (not on top of)
2) Get the ichor (scoop some up into a makeshift paper cup?)
3) Carefully toss the papercup closer to the beetle so it can help itself


1. Is a stride
2. Is an Interact
3. Is a Thrown Attack with an Improvised Weapon, so this is what Ele would have to deal with: This "Thrown Weapon" has a range of 10ft and as an Improvised Weapon, Ele would take a -2 penalty to his Attack. If you're good with that, off you go!

For set 2:

1) Move to the desk (not on top of)
2) Get the ichor (scoop some up with the paper)
3) Shove the paper into Jenk's hands (since he's in the next square over) so they can help themselves to it from there


Jenk's player @rush99999 needs to acknowledge willingness for Jenk to receive the paper and Jenk needs to have one hand free, or it just falls on the ground :). Receiving this paper with the ichor will use up Jenk's reaction for the NEXT round, meaning that Jenk will not be able to react for the whole next initiative order.

If everyone's good with that, coordinate between the two of you!

Ooh was not expecting such quick progress, I'll get my own post done in a moment then!

Also dang, I made one and went back to find it, but I guess I didn't actually post it. Whoops.

Anyway, here's Saur's token I suppose~ Surprised how decent I was able to actually make this. Originally, his colors were darker browns, reds and blacks in order to blend into cavernous surroundings, but he's since had his armor adjusted for more foresty surroundings since he's been in those more often as an adventurer than when he used to be with his clan~
