"I'm sure they will. It'll just takes time." Marik assures with a smile.

"Mahad is the the Dark Magician. He fused his Ka and Ba together to form the Dark Magician after becoming severely weakened." Yami answers.

Cora continued to cry as she was muffled by her face in Yugi's shoulder. She felt like a little girl all over for all she wanted a friend. Someone to lean on and be leaned on. To play with and tell secrets too. She missed those and so throughout her school years she was 'the slowpoke", "Peg leg". All they cared about was how clumsy she would be trying to be normal again.

It was like Yugi offered his friendship like a help up. To rise and stand on her feet which she was ready to do. Her tears was the grief she held in all those years ago that she finally let go.

Dartz nodded then looked out seeing the hospital coming up. “Oh dear…now I’m nervous all over again…”

Serena rubbed her face, stress hitting again. “I hate this…”

Yugi started humming softly in her ear, a song he had learned from Tea many years before.

Marik saw it too and smiled. "It will be okay. We're right here."

Yami smiled softly. "Let's take it a step at a time. We'll check on Drake. Then check on Aaron. Alright?" He asks hoping that might help from feeling overwhelmed.

Cora listened as her cries slowly calmed. Yugi's humming seemed to help lull her back to a calming state. It was when her shoulders stopped shaking and she was all sniffles, that she pulled away and wiping her eyes with the palm of her hand. Her eyes now a bit puffy from crying. "T-Thank you. C-can you help me reach the bed?" She asks him.

When the car parks by the doors, Isono gets out and ops the door for them, Kaiba being the last to get out.

Dartz swallowed and said “I don’t know if I can face them…not after they were hurt again…”

She nodded as the limo pulled up to the building. “Okay guys…let’s do this”

Yugi nodded and helped her to sit on the bed and he passed her leg to her. “Cora…May I ask…what happened? Your aunt said it’s your story to tell…if you’re not ready to say I understand…”

Marik placed a hand on his shoulder. "If you want we can go in and talk to them."

Yami follows Serena and group inside the hospital, his eyes sweeping along the rooms they enter.

Cora sat down with Yugi's help and took her leg with thanks. Yugi could noticed the leg was light. But enough weight to seem like a normal leg. She attaches her leg to her and flexed it like it was normal. "I uh...my parents and I were on going to go on a trip. Before we knew it we crashed into something. I woke up in the hospital a few day after. I was told the car had been crushed." Cora leaned over to where she was shoulder to shoulder with Yugi. "My parents....didn't make it. And my leg....had been mangled. Too much shrapnel...." She explains though there was more to tell.

Dartz nodded and said softly "Thank you... I feel like a fool being worried but... I wouldn't blame them if they want to beat the crap out of me"

Serena looked around and moved to Seto "When you called before, what were the updates the docs gave you?"

Yugi blinked and asked "So you were in a car wreck? Sounds like a your car was hit by a space rock... did they find who caused it?"

"The Riders are doing well and can leave today if they want. Drake was fine last they checked an hour ago and then when they checked over the phone. And Aaron is still as he was." Seto answered.

"A semi gone out of control. They don't know how i survived but I did." She admits, unsure still herself. "While they worked on a leg for me and got me into physical Therapy, I got into Duel Monsters. Got me through the hardest times while I grieved and went thtrough my therapy. When I got back with crutches, that the kids i called my friends stopped being just that. I guess about that same time I could see Duel Spirits." She explained.

Serena sighed then swallowed and asked “what is Drakes condition now?” Darts was looking around as they walked, his hands shaking at his sides.

Yugi paused and looked at her. “When exactly did you start seeing them? What happened?”

"Still stable." Seto tells her while they get to an elevator. It was empty when they get in and still them when the doors close.

"After I started playing Duel Monsters. I think it was about the time I was rejected by my classmates. I remember being alone in a park close to home. Cerberus was the first I interacted with. I was scared at first." Cora explained as she recalled the memory with a fond smile. "Then I met Kuriboh. And I found out I could understand his coos. He reassured me. Then Cerberus tried to interact with me again. Then I slowly started meeting more of them. Some I helped. Others kept me company I guess."

Serena nodded and held her arms, her own hands shaking now. Dartz noticed and pulled Yami in front of him a bit so he could get to Serena easily. Ishizu saw this and tapped Marik. “His very in tune with the feelings of others don’t you think?”

Yugi nodded and said “I think…you really died in that car wreck. Your soul must have been close to cross over before you were saved. You might have touched the shadow realm and it allowed you to see The spirits…”

Yami had looked to Serena wondering if she was okay when he noticed Dartz and watched him seeing he was trying to get to Serena. He watched closely, curious as to what he was doing.

Marik watched this too and nods. "It would seem so."

Cora blinked when Yugi explained how she had died but then brought back. "Is that how....?" Confused but also speechless.

Dartz carefully moved Serena closer to Yami and stepped in her place so she was next to the pharaoh now. Then he checked her face and nodded. Serena looked at Yami and smiled weakly.

Ishizu said “he reads people very well…”

Yugi shrugged and said “it’s possible. It’s what j can think up right now anyway. But it’s great either way. Are you wanting to pack?”

Yami smiled and nodded to Dartz to then place a comforting hand on her shoulder.

Marik nodded. "Indeed." Quite impressed but he had to remember that Dartz was a King.

Cora let it sink in a bit. As she thought about, could see the possibility however could she see the spirits? When Yugi mentioned packing, she looked to the floor when she had started and she smiled shyly, embarrassed. "I did start. But then decided to take a shower. Definitely helped my leg. It was feeling a little sore."

Cora slides herself down and sits in the empty spot she set herself up and going through her clothes.

Ishizu said “he must have been a great ruler…”

Yugi moved over to give her space and said “your aunt is very nice”

Yami rubbed her shoulder to help her relax to then nodded his thanks to Dartz. Marik hums in agreement. Seeing that is was quite evident.

Seto in the meantime had glanced in the direction of Dartz to look over the security systems to make sure they were up to his standards.

"She is. Aunt Kyoki thought Duel Monsters was a bad idea when so much stuff in Domino happened but seeing as how I could handle my own gave her some reassurance that she didn't have to worry but I'm like a daughter she never had." Cora explained to Yugi.

The doors opened and Serena said “I’ll be alright. Let’s go to the riders first…” Dartz swallowed and followed the others out, his nerves back up again full.

Yugi nodded and said “I told her that I would look after you for her.”

Yami nods and let's go but stays close. Marik pats Dartz' shoulder to motion to follow while giving an encouraging smile.

Cora smile while was folding her clothes and packing them in the suit case. "I appreciate it as would my aunt. I promise look after guys too. It's only fair."

"Yeah we're here mate. Good mornin' Serena, Yami." He looks sees the Ishtars and greets them as well. "Good mornin' been a while since we last spoke Miss Ishizu."

Cora laughed too feeling the infectious emotion. The laugh died as she paused packing to look over at Yugi. "Will it get harder? Harder than it was at the club?" She asks a serious look on her face though her eyes showed some worry.

Raph looked up from his book as Alastor was checking his joint motion by his bed. Serena opened the door all the way and said “umm guys? Someone is here to see you…”

Dartz came in and saw the state the riders were in. He lost his nerves and a look of concern washed over him. He looked around and said “are you alright?” Raph was staring and even dropped his book.

Yugi sighed and said “in a duel? Maybe…but we can handle anything right?”
