ever since installing opera mini on this bad boy i figured making accounts on a forum or two could be fun. i signed up a few days ago, but i couldn't log in - it turned out to be my fault, i had cookies turned off.

i've never participated in online role play, but i do struggle with maladaptive daydreaming, so i think i know a thing or two about creating stories and characters XD

i'm going to have to lurk for a while to see how things are done around here. i might just use my laptop to customize my account, but i will be mostly posting from this flip phone, i'm romantic like that.

Forum role play combines both creative writing and role-playing. So if you imagine one of those Venn diagrams, this is between the two circles. Some people are very much more on the creative side, as they have long elaborate plans which can be quite rigid, and others are more on the role-playing side, where they prefer more dynamic story telling from characters perspective. Neither approach is wrong, but they can butt heads when it comes to extremes. So it depends on where you land with things on what you would find the most effective for your own experience.
