Name: Lucy Bastion

Age: 17

Personality: Lucy is always seen with a cold and distant look in her eyes. She views intimate or relationships in general as unhealthy and a hinderment to her goals, especially in high school. Speaking of goals, her ambitions and crazy schemes to bring down the Ultimatum are the only topics of interest she will focus heavily on with a passion. That and homework. With that said, she won't interact with other people unless they yield some benefit to her or serve some purpose. In short, she has slight trust issues. If, however, one is fortunate enough in prying open her shell, Lucy will come to see that person as a mutually respected ally, and eventually a friend.

Background: Not much is know about Lucy, and what little is known is probably rumor and speculation. Even so, she has a long history of transferring schools and moving living locations, sometimes in the midst of a school year. Furthermore, she seems to live alone with no other family members and is not affected by the isolation. Whether her family abandoned her or something more unfortunate occurred has yet to be seen. She also claims that something of dire importance to her was stolen by the Ultimatum, but curiously enough, she cannot remember what exactly that is.

According to her past school transcripts, Lucy apparently has a critical heart condition that can hinder her at any given moment. The attacks are usually spasmodic in nature and if left untreated, she will eventually succumb to cardiac arrest. Sunnydale has taken this into account and provides special painkillers for her in the school nurse's office. However, Lucy keeps her own set of painkillers hidden inside her school bags, despite the risk of bringing confiscated items on school campus.

Notable Skills or Abilities: Lucy carries around an exo-skeleton gauntlet. In normal everyday use, this device is simply seen as silver bracelet with a red orb in the middle around Lucy's left wrist. However, it can conform on itself and expand to form an exo-skeleton like structure surrounding the hand and finger tips, with the red orb centered around her palm. Inside the orb is a highly flammable gas that ignites when exposed to heat and oxygen. The red orb will begin to heat the area around Lucy's hand to high temperatures before opening up the orb and releasing the gas. This in turn creates fire that Lucy can use as either projectiles or a continuous stream, giving her access to fire magic.

In addition to this, Lucy seems to have significant knowledge and experience when it comes to handguns. However, this is the only firearm she can use effectively. Or at all.

Name: Seth Parker

Age: 17

Personality: Seth is the sort of person who will always stand up for what he believes is right, even if nobody else will stand with him. He is loyal to people, not principals, and he expects loyalty in return. Fiercely protective of others, he will not hesitate to do anything in his power to help somebody in trouble. Unfortunately his headstrong and sometimes rash attitude sometimes gets him into trouble, but he always seems to find a way to get out of it, though not entirely unscathed, Though normally outspoken and fearless, Seth has a dark side to him that few have seen, and only those who know him best understand.

Background: Seth has not had an easy life, raised by his father's best friend, who he's now come to see as his uncle, after his parents were murdered when he was 9, he's known the pain of losing those most important to him, and the fear of not being strong enough to protect the ones left. Regardless of his past, that left him with some emotional scars, he refused to seclude himself from the world, and took up as many hobbies as he could in order to keep him busy. Not many people know the full story, and he doesn't like to talk about it, though he will if you become close enough to him.

Notable Skills or Abilities: Seth has been practicing martial arts, and swordsmanship since he was young, at the request of his father, which he has carried on long after his death. He's honed his skills to a very respectable level, and is advanced beyond his age, due to the amount of work and dedication he has put into his training. Outside of this, he is a skilled mechanic and pilot, having a wealth of knowledge of all things mechanical, from droids to vehicles. He's always found tinkering with the cool machines in his Uncle's shop relaxing, and it helps him clear his mind and simply focus on something, escape from everything if he needed to.

Name: Morgan Reid

Age: Almost 17

Personality: Morgan has a somewhat sinister personality at first glance. Her dark sense of humor and high level of intelligence is somewhat intimidating to people in her class, so she is typically seen as a loner - which she is perfectly fine with accepting. Marching to the beat of her own drum, people have called her eccentric with her interest in old magic. Her desire to read old histories and tomes of ancient times further isolates her from her peers but increases her appetite for knowledge. When she is not studying the ancient texts, she likes to do artwork - dark art, naturally. Although all of these things make her hard to approach for her classmates, she is actually a pretty easy to talk to girl, even if she does give her knowledgeable opinion freely - she rarely takes others' opinions to heart and thinks they should do the same.

Background: Morgan lost both of her parents in a fire when she was young, and has always suspected something nefarious. After moving to an orphanage, she noticed that she was different than the other children because she had no desire to play or have friends. One day while walking back to the home, she came across an old taboo shop where an old woman claimed to be a mystic. Being a child of reason, Morgan scoffed at her, but was equally interested in what the woman had to say. She took in notice of all the items in the shop and quickly became fascinated almost to the point of obsession. Being a quiet child, no one picked up on her interested until the last few years of middle school. The other children began to tease her and isolate her when not doing so. After being locked inside of a large trash container one day at recess, Morgan began to prefer when the students left her alone. She pondered how to get them to do so and came up with the solution: fear. Her studying of old magicks served her well and gained her what she so longed for: privacy as well as intimidation when she caused a scene in the school cafeteria nearly a year after her time spent in the dumpster (one of her summonings). However, she is not completely alone - she does play guitar in a band with some older kids as she likes to skip school and stay out late at night from time to time.

Notable Skills or Abilities: She is not terribly skilled at physical fighting, but does love to conjure her creatures (artwork) and controls them mentally from a safe distance. She does carry a curved blade which she uses magic to control in sort of a boomerang fashion, but this drains her as well after prolonged use. Note: While using her summoning magic, her eyes go completely white and she is in the mind of her creation. She is able to summon her art because of the extensive tattoos infused with nanochips which she had a hand in designing along her limbs, up her spine, and curving along her collarbone which correlate to the mixture she uses with her paints.

Accepted Faded Memory. Just keep in mind that at this point in time, magic and technology have become so integrated into each other, it's usually rare or taboo when an individual solely devotes their self to only one aspect. Basically, society looks down on those who practice one without the other. But in the case of Morgan's character, it works out.

For those who would like to begin, I will be posting the first IC soon. Considering the amount of people involved, there will be a post order for this and that will be determined by who posts first and so on in that order. For those who are still working on CS, you will have to post at the end of a posting cycle and integrate your OC into the story.

Just curious. ^^ If so, then maybe he'll be one of the few people she's openly nice to before getting to know. :P

Edit x3: Also, that applies to Jurano as well - even though she'd be more of a tolerating sort with him instead of nice. ^^;

Hopefully things start progressing at a decent pace soonish. :p
