Fucking kitted out like camp bastion right there! 2 assault rifles, 1 sub machine gun, and enough body armour equipment to out last any apocalypse....im pretty sure even in this apocalypse scenario resources would be harder to come across and t would be better to run light weight and fast for survival purposes?

1: Veteran Medical Initiative (VMI, known as plague doctors for the common population): Before the Division was made, the USA had a biological response unit. It was the cold war and thus that the reds would try anything was expected. After the Fall of the USSR however and with a tightening budget, it was decided that the USAMRID's first response teams would be replaced by the Division, a much less costly alternative. A lot of people didn't swallow this very well. Thus the Plague Doctors are made of military veterans and medical experts with the notable distinction of having a medium age around 65. They are veterans well armed and crafty at that, coming from an era without internet and such and used to lack modern electrical equipment to do their mission. They see themselves as the real saviors of this situation but their methods is reminiscent of the cold war in the way that they dehumanize the conflict. Civilians are just cattle to be used as test subjects, infected or not, anything standing in their way being mowed down for the 'Greater Good'.2: The Consortium: Based in Wall Street, they try to secure bank and corporate data of wealthy clients that left New York during the first day or to rescue those that couldn't make out of there. During the first few days they were extremely well equipped and organized but as time went by, that their drones lacked repair that they began to lack fuel for their armored cars and so forth the mercenaries have devolved from a disciplined fighting force to paranoid cutthroats, fearing anything approaching them wanting them dead or being infected.3: The Sewer Rats: The most crafty residents of the city, the homeless and so forth, they are the elusive occupants of the city sewers. They themselves are not much for fighting but their domain as been trapped from beginning to end and by all likelihood those that venture under the city will die of a trap or the following infection after being wounded in such a dirty place rather than be killed by one of them. Still, when fighting is needed close quarter surprise attack at the turn of a corner is their preferred method of combat, indeed a shotgun in the hands of someone that don't know how to wield a weapon can be very dangerous.4: The Neighborhood Watchmen: Gangs have, lets say it honestly, a reputation to be filled with more 'Ethnic' and 'colorful' people. When the good while collar residents of New York found themselves besieged a particular residential sector decided that they wouldn't join the Quarantine zones and leave everything they own behind to be looted, no sir no! They decided to stay behind and fight back the looters with what they could. Terribly equipped and with a very poor moral with generally poor physical training as well, these people have little for themselves but their number and the fact that they have loved ones behind them to protect.5: The Hive: Scavangers and those with the city's ability to produce goods, they got their name from their unofficial founder that was a beekeeper in a building next to central park and that began to trade stuff for Honey, a rare luxury now. They are generally unorthodox in their fighting and aim more to 'Secure the goods' than anything else. While they can be honest to god businessman, there are also those that are dishonest and that will steal a power generator to sell it later to the same people and so forth.6: The Anarchists: Called Anonymous, the Occupy people or so forth, they seem to be more like a force than real people but they are there, the leaders in riots, the protesters, those stiring up trouble, They believe the government is hiding something from them, that they keep them here, that they keep the food from the people and so forth but in their desire to do good and change things in the camps they only cause chaos and destruction as one day they will let infected people in the Quarantine to then compromise everything and the other they will stir up a mob to walk on the medical post and burn all the isolated infected, allowing looters and whatnot to take hold of the supplies.

no im just aying that in an apocolypse scenrio even the system will struggle, as they already do in the current climate
