Just got back from Captain America... Oh my holy jesus timmy fucking christ that was the most awesome nerdgasm in the entire history of the world.

Fight Scenes: Amazingly Choreographed.
Story: Dark and a little odd, but nonetheless satisfying
Extra's: HOLYFUCKINGMUFFINBUTTONS!!! They announced so many new characters in this movie. At one point, a bad guy is spilling the beans on all of his targets and certain names pop up, most notably Steven Strange. And at the end of the movie, they have the token "Build up for next movie" moment, which not only introduces classic Captain America villain, Baron Von Strucker but also introduces a pair of characters simply refered to as "The Twins" One of these twins has white hair moves like the Flash, and the other is seen controlling a load of objects... These two HAVE to be Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch, which may not sound like much, but the fact is that they are the children of Magneto... As in The X-Men character.

If I didn't know any better, I'd say that Days of Futures Past was an event built for the purpose of bringing the X-Men and Avengers franchises together to open up a fuckton of movie opportunities. Captain America and Wolverine could have a War Movie, Tony Stark and Xavier get together to found a makeshift version of the Illuminati, introduce Black Panther and have him meet Storm. Introduce S.W.O.R.D.

And, of course, they can now introduce the greatest Superhero of all... Captain Britain and Excalibur, as well as the girl voted "Hottest Marvel Girl" Psylocke

So... I finally played a legit tabletop Dark Heresy today. Needless to say, I make a terrible Void Assassin...

I'm sorry, but I can't take the ending seriously when it's literally just Sonic Adventure 2.

Well, in the end, i'm glad that this episode contained a total devoidance of bad touching.

It was a good episode, but kind of a letdown in terms of ending the series. Fortunately, Trigger managed to avoid going Gainax and having everybody congratulate Ryuko or have her get cut into 666 pieces by Mako when it turned out that she was a demon all along, and at least gave something of a conclusive ending, but it was still rushed as hell. A few more episodes would have been good for the show, since what we got falls pretty far of what it could have been.

Also, Super Saiyan Ryuko was silly. Really would have been better off as a Satsuki/Ryuko double team, if they could have found a way to do that believably.

At least Gamagoori was fucking metal. If this episode didn't make you love Gamagoori, you have no soul.

Also, I literally just realized something about the finale.

Dude, Trigger was founded and staffed by ex-GAINAX employees, and the founder of Trigger and the director of Kill la Kill started off as one of the key animators on Evangelion. Also pretty sure a bunch of other animators from Evangelion worked on this show at one point or another. No coincidences here, GAINAX referenced the shit out of themselves at every turn and it looks like Trigger's carrying on that mantle.
