Given that demons come in all shapes and sizes and stuff, that pic you put up is quite okay. =)

Demons are nothing more than demonic viruses that slowly take over a human body. Once control is taken over, their demonic evolutionary process take over as they consume more and more play-doh. I mean essence. If you could ever undo the virus's work, you have a "human"

Hell, the Angelic Council was even using demonic parasites to call bullshit on their angelic classes and whenever they were naughty, the parasite would turn their wings a little blacker. How legit is that!?

Angels are nothing more than humans with attached with wings, that store the angelic soul and memories. It seems there is no struggle between the human and angel, though? On a mental level anyway. Take the wings off and you have a "human"...

Welcome, both of ya heh. To further clarify regarding demons, well they are kind of the grab bag of the RP. You can pretty much find any pic you like for them and it'd work if you really wanted it to. I'd argue that demons are strictly /viruses/, but that's an accurate enough description I suppose since they do in fact do all those things.

Additionally, while it is true that most angels are basically humans with wings and a special ability or three (related to their class) there are "Original Angels" aka Archangels(sometimes) which don't have a particular classification and thus have access to the abilities of all classes, but are less skilled at those abilities. The difference is Original Angels do not have human bodies or essence, but otherwise they are more or less the same haha.

Hey there, Heitsche. I'm glad you enjoyed the Weebly site read on Essence. Wind's gunna swoon her little heart out~

So nice to come back to this and see the activity popping about.

I am Slade, I'm the other GM of our second season of Essence of the World. I'm currently in the midst of writing out the OOC. Truth be told i wanted to work on in last night so in would coincide with our Interest check posted by Mikael. But alas, my internet is never too good. So it did not come to pass.

I'm the creators and overall controllers of the two major factions (The Kingdom of the Gospel and Omnity). Mikael is the creator and controller of another mysterious faction called the Iotans. We have a few other factions as well in store for you. But they will be revealed in due time when we can co-ordinate everything in a fruitful manner.

All our veteran players of Season one are enthusiastic about working with more players and expanding our close-knit community that is the core reason why we've been so successful in being one of the few groups to actually finish an RP. A feat not accomplished by most other RP's and is a reason of pride amongst ourselves and of course, among the original creator and former GM, Wild Wind. Who will be joining us as a player for Season 2.

Now help us be even more prideful by giving us the right to say we've completed two successful RPs. Something that is never heard of.

I wanted to let all of you know that I'm gonna post your characters, as well as any information on location and who's where information on a website that I own. I'm currently working on it, but once I'm done (should be before the OOC is up :3) I will have whichever GM posts the OOC thread to also post a link to it, and if I can I'll grab the second post for the same information so it'll be updated along with the site~

I should also note, that my site will not replace the weebly one in terms of the world's lore, it will simply be a back up for characters and locations.

I'd like to add that on the weebly site, on the tab that say like, THE ANGELS and THE DEMONS... those are actually buttons that take you to another part of the site, talking about them. They're not just drop down menus.

Not trying to be mean, it's just it's been an issue in the past. People didn't realize. It's cool though~

On a character related note; would a type of vagabond, lorekeeping angel be an acceptable character?

Well, considering that the main city called Loom is pretty damaged, I think a vagabond angel would be okay. Don't take my word for it though.

Always attracted by an RP with a dedicated team. Interested :D

Heit: I'm pree sure that'd be acceptable. It'd be most interesting to see why your angel insists on keeping lore even after the "almighty" Angelic Council has fallen. We will all help you with this. :3

Well, besides the fact that it's in its second season, I think the amount of unique details and work put into this is what really caught me on, and it's pretty incredible that you all stuck through.
