Would be funny for Jorick's character to show up to the shop late. The shop-keep would just sigh and facepalm :p

That could provide some interesting insight. He might have a better idea of what their camp looked like and how challenging the giants were. Although, apparently my character can judge the giant's strength just by staring them down. Still, would be interesting. Might freak out some people in our group.

Game over, man! Game over!

Yes I do remember that it depends on rolls, I just wanted to be sure that it was a possibility. I have always been in very free-form RPs so I'm a little unsure of the mechanics of this one. Learning as I go!

But yes, I'm good with giving Soraya a shot at fashioning some weapons for them. After all, she can't take down a giant with just a hide cloak. :P The most important thing, to me, and probably to my character, would be to gather as much info as possible before charging in. If Jorick's character had already been through the ordeal, he'd be a prime source for info. But depending on the layout of the area, it may be most appropriate for one or two people to go ahead and free a couple of dwarves rather than risk the entire group to do so. Does that make sense?

Btw, on a completely unrelated and unnecessary note, I'm totally in love with lumberjack-looking men. I call my boyfriend a lumberjack all the time. My weakness!

I like their flannels.

On a related note, your character is a pretty good scout and would possibly do well to sneak in there. Who else would be good to go with?

Maybe me? If I can use some of my abilities. MIne would be more like I could blend in with whoever is running away, look normal and all.

Hey, Boss_Dude, you decided to get Jotunblut in the end, right? Might want to update that part of your CS.

Jorick AKA Angus Hartmann AKA Angus Njordsson
--
A stone shield, carved into it being a very intricate and ornate design of landscapes, and rivers and such. It appears to be a map of some sort, although it’s not clear of where; it matches no location on Midgard.
--
You unarmed strikes, or strikes with your shield, deal considerably increased damage compared to your otherwise armed strikes.
You are able to throw projectiles so that, as long as they don’t get embedded in a surface, they will bounce back to you
When you are to be hit by an attack that would cause serious damage such as broken bones or gaping wounds, you may make the damage you take less severe; bruises and sprains and scrapes instead of breaks and wounds.
When you plant your feet on solid ground, you become almost as hard as the earth itself to move from your spot
When you run or jump, the wind swirls around you to enhance your movement and speed
You are able to turn small quantities of dirty liquid water into pure clean water

So basically you have a little more than 8 hours spent getting there after the shop. If there's anything else you want to have done that's reasonable with a majority (roughly 7 hours) spent doing stuff like driving and short breaks, just lemme know and I'll include it as well, or you can note it in your post instead. Either or.

Right, I'm off for a bit. Elendra's got the scenario post ready. I'd suggest we introduce ourselves, get acquainted, then march off to kill some frost giants.

Oh right that was a thing.

Here's the thing https://docs.google.com/document/d/14erGvXtdGO4xSkl3uHQxwOe5KeQMYeGxWFQk1Cxc6lI/edit?usp=sharing

You can't access it, but it should give you a thing where you can send me an email asking for permission to access

I can then give you access and edit skills

And then we have this GDoc, yay GDocs
