OOC here.

First post will be about the prison and the prison break. I still need to have a general idea of what your character does so I can work on mine accordingly, but I have the scenario surrounding the prison break down.

I have several ideas for a character so far, the question is how stereotypical they'll be.
One where a character gets wings, unusable at first, so thatll be a physical change
The other ones is either being able to liquify solids, or mirroring, aka whatever harms the main character, mirrors back to a target person type of magic.
Or one where the character can turn a part of the body into an acidic substance of sorts.

Then theres the more stereotypical, controlling an element, telikenesis, teleportation, mind reading, turning invisable etcc.

Theres a lot of posibilities. I thought honestly that there would be a part of the intro would be that your character spreads word about a possible riotining or asking for information about what people think or know they can do, so a rioting can be planned. That way you'd get a chance to describe your characters appearance, abilities etc, and leave an opening for me to do the same in a fluent way.

What do you think?

I think the idea here should be that the characters should have powers that are more mythological than anything -- magic in the sense that we recognize from stories we've heard. For example, a chick with snakes in her hair that turns people to stone...and may well have to blindfold herself for people's safety. That's just one.

I can do that though, re: the first post.

Okaydokey, I understand, honestly though my knowledge of mythological powers and beings are limited, I'm going to look around a bit.

If you have any suggestions of what you would like to see, im happy to hear you out :3

So here's the fun of this scenario -- you get to decide where the characters are. ;) Have fun with that. You can improvise what sort of help they had on the run and so forth. Brian was totally out for however long you need him to have been out.

I don't think our characters knew each other (or well) before it all happened, they just got thrown together in the chaos of the Uprising and the escape.

Oh, and don't sweat the length of my first post -- I tend to do smaller posts in the RP after a big first post. It's just that it's a lot of material to cover in the first post.

If you want to keep the next post short, I can move it up to a rest stop somewhere. ;)

Haha :P Sorry man! Didn't mean to, its just I get impatient when i hear "Soon soon soon" too many times :P
Then again, I do the same thing every once in a while OxO

I really enjoyed reading the post! You progressed the story and made it realistic :P Much detail, some which i dont understand, but it was really nice :0 I liked the perspective of the Native american aswell.
How do you want it to continue? How do you think our characters could interract more?

I also would like to ask you a huge favor(that you may have already planned?) because you know more about how the government works with the issue at hand (the Emergents), Could you post something about how far theyve come with the containment, or the Nellis intident sometime in the future? I am curious to see how close they are to our little gang.

I also wonder what your opinion is about our characters meeting up with other Emergant groups. How organized are the anti-government emergants? or Pro Emergants people?

Who are the five characters again?
Smalls = Is it the one with the tattoos?
Simon= The one with tusks/horns?
Cutter is the elderly woman with unknown powers so far
Brian=Your character
Daina= my character.

Smalls - ex convict from Philly, working as a trucker in Nebraska, with the tattoos yeah. Mixed African-American, Caucasian heritage.
Simon - Horns/tusks.

And the rest.

As to the pro-emergent groups and anti-government groups, it's a bit hodge-podge -- the churches and anti-Emergent groups enjoy the support of most local and all federal police agencies and talk real tough in a time of uncertainty, which is popular. Americans tend to like macho tough talk when shit is going wrong, basically, so these guys are doing that.

In Frisco itself, there are a lot more Emergent-friendly types around, and my feeling is that it'd be fun to play out that political conflict between factions in Frisco -- maybe some politicians are pro, and some are anti..as well a many of the cops.

In that aspect, I'll write about how the Nellis Uprising plays out -- its effect on the community.
