Monokuma waited patiently in the Orion Academy gymnasium for the students of Orion Academy to arrive. To figure out what had happened when they arrived at the school, why everything was on complete lockdown, and where everyone was beside them… and why HE was there. It all took a lot of preparations, but boy would the results be BEARY interesting and full of despair!

Upupupu.

All the classrooms that the Super High School Level students would wake up in were all set, the students were all placed gently in the desks with the utmost of care, and the notices to go to the school entryway were also placed on the desks the students were currently unconscious on. Of course, they wouldn’t be escaping; the door to the school was replaced by a rather large vault down, and gatling guns were hung with care from the ceiling, ready to gun down any intruder that would try to get out of the school with permission.

The upper levels of the school were currently locked off from everyone, as well as a number of rooms that he didn’t want the students to get into yet. For now, he needed all of them to get acquainted, so when he sprung on them their new school life, it would be even more despairing than before!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Meanwhile, Serena Bellerose woke up in a classroom she didn’t recognize—in fact, nothing around her she recognized. Last she remembered, she walked into Orion Academy and… well, that WAS the last thing she could remember. Her head was in a lot of pain, more than she cared to have at the moment, and it took a bit for her vision to clear up enough for her to read the notice on the desk.
”It’s a new semester starting here at Orion Academy! A wonderful new life is here for you bastards in this very school! Please make your way to the school entryway at once!” was all that the pamphlet read.
”What… what’s going on…?” Serena whispered to herself. She looked around the room now that she could see more clearly. Giant iron plates on the windows and some sort of security camera were the two bizarre things that accompanied what was otherwise a rather normal classroom. Serena gulped nervously, quickly heading out of the classroom she was in. She saw not a single other person in the school hallways on her way to the school entryway, which only made her more nervous. She reached the doors to the school entryway, absolutely terrified of what she might find in there…
((Edit: Do not worry if you do not have characters submitted in, this first part of the RP (the group getting acquainted and learning about their new life) will be a bit slow at first and then will end up speeding up, this is just our introduction of sorts to get things into high gear))
Octavia first noticed the utter silence. It was the lack of familiar music or even chatter that made her open her eyes and look around the classroom. Technically not empty; there were desks and chairs after all. But she seemed to be the only person. Strange. Her school - wait, this wasn't her high school. Was it Orion Academy? She knew she was supposed to be attending there, and this room seemed unfamiliar. Especially the metal plates. She drummed her fingers on the desk mindlessly. She didn't think the school was that big, that there was one classroom per student. But then where was everyone? Even the halls sounded devoid of footsteps and teen gossip.
And speaking of sound, her violin! She twisted in her seat to find the black case and, in the process, sent a pamphlet drifting down onto it. Both grateful for the paper source and curious, she picked it up and read it. Well....she frowned briefly. That seemed rude. She quickly wiped the expression off her face. Maybe the writer merely had a bad sense of humor? She creased the pamphlet along its midsection and heaved her case onto her desk. Undoing the clasps showed, yes, her instrument, along with the papers and pen, were intact. She lifted the lid up further, tucking the paper under the violin, and pulled out the bow. That felt better. She re-secured the clasps and, bow over her shoulder, case handle in her other hand, got up from her seat and left the classroom.
The halls seemed perfectly well-lit and clean, so it didn't look like the school was abandoned. Hopefully, she'd find others at the entryway. Maybe they could tell her what was going on. If they were friendly, anyways. What if they weren't? What if they intended to hurt her?
She rapidly dismissed the thought. They had their chance when putting her into that room. She was likely-
Something slammed into her case, and she fell over, bow tossed away to prevent breakage, a moving weight on top of her. She struggled, trying to push it off, as a voice stammered; the weight finally slipped off, and a person sat next to her.
"Well, fancy running into you here." The person smiled, and she returned the expression. He (or she? The voice didn't strike her as terribly feminine, nor did the flat-chested suit, but the hips and hair were something else) got up to a kneeling position and offered her his hand. "You're not hurt, are you?" Octavia shook her head and grabbed his hand; they both stood together. He let her go to retrieve her bow. "So, who are you anyways?" He had his hands on his hips and, Octavia now realized, his own copy of the pamphlet neatly tucked into a shirt pocket. She swept her bow in the direction of the entryway, and he stared. "What?"
This was going to be tough.
She continued walking, and soon heard the footsteps of the odd stranger not far behind. Admittedly, there was some comfort in not being alone, even if it was with someone she didn't know. The entryway....didn't seem far now. She pushed open the doors, and held them open for the person behind her. He picked up the edges of his jacket, curtsied, and passed through. Maybe 'he' wasn't appropriate...
Silas IC
Silas woke up, he felt his head lying on wood, when he sat up straight and looked around he found himself in a classroom. An empty classroom. Silas stood up and heard his tummy crying for food, a sad expression appeared on his face as he rubbed his tummy with his hand. When he further inspected the room he noticed that there were thick metal plates on the walls, he assumed that the windows would be on that place. He rubbed his forehead. What exactly happened? The last thing he could remember was that he arrived and entered Orion High School, that is where he must be now, but why was he here alone?
Silas wanted to exit the chamber when he stumbled against a pamflet that was attached to the wall. He narrowed his eyes and read it. The pamflet said to meet up in the school's entryway. The letter was strange. The one who made it wished them a wonderful time here, but also called us bastards. He also said please, very kind, but the at once made it sound angry, at least in his experience. Silas shrugged his shoulders, he really needed to eat something, the earlier he gets to the entryway the sooner he would get to eat something. He opened the classroom door and stormed out of the classroom.
He was walking with a quick pace through the corridors, although he didn't know where he was heading. He had a destination, only without a way to get there. After a few minutes of trying to figure out where he had to go, he eventually arrived at the entryway. No one was there though. He frowned and decided to sit down on the ground leaning against one of the pillars that was present in the room while rubbing his tummy.
Maria's IC
Maria woke up in the empty classroom. When she noticed where she was she got a little bit frightened. She stood up and walked around while holding the crusifix necklace with a firm grip in her hand. She also noticed the metal plates covering the windows, but didn't think much of it. Back at her "nun school" the classrooms also were closed off, they didn't have much light there either, she kinda was used to being "trapped."
After reading the pamflet on the wall she exited the classroom. She looked around but saw nobody standing in the hallways. "Hello?" she said loudly, hopefully that anyone would hear her. She continued walking through the hallways hoping that someone would be so kind to guide her the way. But for now she was relying on Him to bring her to the entryway. She just walked through the hallways, it probably would take forever to find the way if she only relied on someone who wasn't with her. But Maria put her full trust into Him, as she always does.
Astolfo Garneau
Unlike the other students, Astolfo did not wake up in a desk in an empty classroom. No, he woke up on top of a desk in an empty classroom. It was actually a miracle that that the pink-haired young gamer hadn't somehow fallen off and smacked his body against the cold, hard ground. Speaking of which... "Mmm... WOAH!"
'Thud!'
"Yeowch..." the Frenchman mumbled as he rubbed his back, which had obviously been in slight pain from the short, approximately three foot drop. As he was busy taking inventory of his non-existent wounds, Astolfo noticed a sheet of paper float down from the top of his desk. Apparently his fall had caused it to slip off and land on his head. "Hehe," he chucked as he took the paper off his head and began to read. As he looked through the words, there was a familiar glint in his eyes, a familiar one that spoke of adventure and camaraderie, of trials and successes.
"This is GREAT!" the pinknet exclaimed, getting up off his butt with a deft jump, landing solidly on two feet. And with that, Astolfo dashed out of the room to go for the entrance hall.
Lucas Archwood
"What the heck is going on?!" Lucas groaned as he futiley slammed his arms against the iron plated windows for the umpteenth time in the past few minutes since he had woken up in a desk alone in a classroom and read the rather contradictory-in-tone message left for him by whom he supposed was the organizer of these iron windows and security cameras. He came for a good education and recognition for his talents... Speaking of which, what was his special talent anyway?
'Gah, that's NOT THE POINT,' Lucas thought inwardly. This was one of those rare scenarios in which his whole personal philosophy did jack to help him out. He ran his hand through his red hair and exhaled loudly, as if getting rid of steam. "I seriously hope I'm not the only person here. Hnnn... Might as well do what that pamphlet told me to. For all I know this is a joke and it's getting recorded for TV or something..." he sighed as he picked up the crumpled ball that was the pamphlet and unraveled it to reveal the message he had ignored before reading and re-crumpling it. As he left the room to head to the entrance hall, he tossed the paper into the nearby wastebasket.
"Let's see what's up," he said, steps echoing in the lonely stretch of hallway.
Anna Brunhild
"Security cameras there, there, and there. Metal plating covering the windows... Hmm, interesting," a professionally dressed blonde said as she paced around the classroom, checking every little thing out. After all, who knew where you could find interesting tidbits of helpful information? Anna knew very well what you could find under unturned stones, from food to credit card information. From what she could gather, there was no way to escape through the windows unless you had a wrecking ball or something. Those bolts were screwed in tight. She didn't know what the security cameras were for, but she'd find out sooner or later. Then there was that odd message scrawled on the pamphlet...
The Super High School Level Thief turned back to the desk she had awoken on to get a look at the message once more. "'Go to the school entryway,' it says," she murmured, putting her hand to her chin in thought. On one hand, she could wander about the school, but a hunch told her that there'd be plenty of locked doors and restricted areas. Not that that would usually bother her, but...
Well she felt a bit naked without anything on hand to pick a lock or a cellular phone. "Tch, time to see what this whole charade is all about," she growled as she too exited the room and headed off towards the entryway to get to the bottom of this mystery.
Rosemary Ivy
The fashionable young woman was stirring in her sleep on top of the school desk. While doing so she accidentally pushed her note of entry under a vacant desk with a swoosh. She simple groaned as this happened. It took a few long moments of stirring for her to finally start wakeing up from her slumber. She yawned and stretched in her seat. "Oh my, it seem I fell asleep in class... Everybody gone already, why did nobody wake me up?" She spoke aloud to herself, she tried to scratched the sleep out of her eyes to no avail.
She gotten up from her desk and finally gotten a good look at her new classroom, that odd? The window barricade and cameras seemed like overkill for such a high school. "Where did my purse go- What may this be?.... This person has a poor sense of humor." She sighed as she found her note. Who would write an entry notice like this, who would call their students, beg pardon, bastards. This must be a prank by one of the students for no professional would write up such a crude noticed. If she has to prove herself to the older students then she might as will go, to show she means business. If she has to kick a rude senior on the behind she will, gladly, if it will get her respect, form them crude creatures.
She left the room with a dutiful expression on her face, she will not be disrespected like this. She opened the door to an empty hall, to it might have people but she still a little drowsy from her recent awakening.
"Where is this entryway?" She asked herself as she looked at the halls trying to get her bearings.
Conrad Shepherd
Unlike many of the other students, Conrad has been awake for at least half an hour. He was huddled under a desk, hiding from fear of being killed. This was like a setting from a horro movie, waking up in an empty room with locked windows and cameras all over the room. He thought he was kidnapped as he doesn't remember sleeping in class. He thought the kidnappers slash killers were waiting for him in the entryway for easy pickings. But he needs to get out soon and he knows that. The killers will come in here and kill him easily if he stays.
He sighed as he gotten up from under the desk with shaky knees. He was frighten this was worse than his daily panic attacks. He reached the door, at least in the hall he will at least have a chance to go for the door or a good hiding place. He tapped the door so to make sure it isn't hot from a fire on the other end or in the worst case a battery running thrugh the door. Noting happened so it safe enough for him to go out without his skin buring or him being shocked to cardiac arrest. The super high school level Lucky went out the door sheepishly, looking both ways before coming out fully. Nobody appeared to be in the halls. As he went out of the class room he sprinted around the corner. He will get to the entryway as quickly as he can. But he tripped as he went around the bend. He landed on his face, nothing broke thankfully. He just laid there, he was so done with his luck that he just continued laying there. "Ow..."
Elend Carrol
A loud crash woke Elend from his deep sleep. "Huh? What? Where?" He found himself laying on the flood beside an overturned chair. Oh, he must have nodded off again while working on a project after school. El grabbed a paper off the desk he'd been sitting at and ran out of the room. Cassie would kill him if he was late for dinner again, especially if he told her he'd been sleeping in school again. A cold shiver ran down his spine at the mere thought of what his demonspawn sister would do to punish him this time. After a few turns, he realized what it was that he was missing. Elend slapped himself in the face. He'd left his glasses in the classroom! No wonder he couldn't see where he was going.
Elend ran back the way he came, wondering where Mr. Charles was today. Mr. Charles was the janitor that usually cleaned up the science wing after school. Since El frequently spent more time roaming those halls than the science teachers themselves, he had gotten to know Mr. Charles pretty well. By this time in the afternoon, he should be able to hear the sound of the graying janitor humming loudly to himself as he cleaned the halls. That was odd, but not entirely unprecedented; Mr. Charles did occasionally take days off after all.
Elend opened up the door to the classroom he had woken up in and sure enough, his glasses had been laying on the floor where he'd fallen. He was lucky that he hadn't accidentally stepped on them. Elend smoothed his naturally-messy hair down and slipped his red-rimmed glasses over his eyes. The entire room suddenly came into focus. Not a muscle in El's body moved as he found himself in a very foreign classroom. There were iron plates over the windows, preventing him from seeing out. Or maybe to prevent someone else from seeing in perhaps? And a security camera was mounted on the wall, looking directly at him.
He didn't start, he didn't panic, but his brain went into overdrive. This wasn't his school. What the hell was going on!? After a few minutes of silent stillness, he turned and walked slowly out of the room. He was missing data necessary to figure out his current situation. As he walked down the empty hall once more, Elend pulled the piece of paper from his back pocket. If going to the entryway would help him to figure out what was going on, then that was where he would go.
Edie Jensen groggily woke up in one of the many, many classrooms that were in the rather empty Orion Academy. She quirked an eyebrow as she looked around. Why was she asleep? She never just fell asleep like that, whether during work or during classes… something was up. What was up, exactly, was something completely unknown to her, and she figured questioning it would be absolutely useless. However, she was made all the more confused by the pamphlet that was sitting in front of her. The words it said made very little sense, it seemed inviting but… kinda mean at the same time? Clearly this person had some sort of issue. Could it be that they were a part of the school? But why would they call new students bastards?
”I guess I should quit thinking about all of this and just go to the entrance way like this is asking… I mean, I figure nothing can really go wrong…” she mumbled to herself, letting out a small sigh and setting the pamphlet down briefly before going to brush herself off. Of course, another problem lied ahead: her apron wasn’t on. A simple half white apron that tied around the waist and went just above her knees, with a pocket in the front for straws and her notepad and pen for taking orders. It would probably sound insane to some, but in a way she felt naked without it—she did wear it almost every day for the past so many years, after all. Luckily it was just on the floor, once she actually looked around. It would be a bit dusty, but that wouldn’t be much compared to the damages it probably took over the years. She tied it on, making sure her notepad and pen were still in there, and promptly stuffed the pamphlet in the pocket, deciding now would be the best time to head to the school’s entrance way.
It took a little bit to find (the school did seem to be pretty big, combining that with the fact that she had no clue where she was going) and she eventually found the entrance way. Surprisingly enough, there were already quite a few people in there. She offered a small wave as she took a few steps forward ”Uh… hi,” was all she could manage to say to who she assumed were her fellow classmates.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Iris had been sitting in her classroom for some thirty minutes or so. She had read over the pamphlet that lies open in front of her plenty of times, trying to discover something more from its words that she didn’t know before. Of course, it was all to no avail, but she thought that maybe with time she could pull something from it that she didn’t know from the time before.

Of course, sitting there, reading over the words of the pamphlet every few minutes just led to her thinking about the situation she was in, and it left her feeling, well, the same, more or less. She felt despaired almost all the time, and this was no different really, though she was a bit more uneasy about the whole thing.

It left her wondering why she was in this situation. She was invited to Orion Academy for her talent (which she didn’t even understand… for despair? What exactly did that mean) and yet the first thing that’s happen is she’s thrown into a situation, not long after entering, that left her feeling much more uneasy than usual. Something had to be up. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath, before folding up the pamphlet and putting it in her suit pants pocket, and slowly walking out into the hallway. She didn’t quite see any people as she searched for the entrance way. She eventually found it after a few minutes and walked in, noticing a few people were already in and talking, so Iris did what she did best: sneak off to the corner and try to remain unnoticed by her peers.

Karyl delle Campane

Karyl wasn't going to lie, she was in an awful mood, and every little movement betrayed it. The way the strings on her pullover hoodie were pulled tight, the way she stalked through the halls trying to find the entryway mentioned in her pamphlet, the way said pamphlet was balled up in her fist. She was certain by now that she had wandered these halls for at least ten minutes with no success so far. How big was this place anyways?

After a turn, she could see something - someone? - lying on the floor. Well then. This wouldn't do. She pushed the crumpled paper into a pocket on her shorts, stood up straighter, and put on a smile. If the person was a threat, they wouldn't see anything coming. If they weren't, she could possibly get them to help her. Smoothing out the front of her hoodie and loosening the strings, she approached the person. Looked like a guy, no one she knew, and he seemed to lack any inclination to get off the floor. He seemed to be conscious, judging by his breathing.

"Are you alright there?" Hm. Maybe a bit too overdone on the concern.

Morgan Oakley

Morgan wasn't surprised when m saw others had arrived first. After all, their little trip - heh - had that incident m doubted these others had. M shrugged - they didn't want to talk, m wasn't going to waste their time - and leaned against a pillar, taking a deck of playing cards from m's pocket and shuffling. The only trick m had at the moment, aside from the eyepatch. The girl who'd accompanied m waved and then sat in the middle of the floor, opening her violin case and taking out folded music sheets and a black pen. Huh. Maybe she couldn't talk? Well, not with a voice. She could speak in music maybe. It sounded perhaps cliched, but m liked it. People preferred the cliches anyways as long as they were done well - why m kept the card deck.

Very shortly, the doors opened again - m slowed the shuffling upon noticing the white apron. Well. Then again, the girl m had accompanied had that purple dress and m had the suit so what did m know. The mute girl waved her bow in greeting, and Morgan decided it'd be rude to not respond.

"Welcome to Orion Academy...I suppose." Morgan shrugged, managing to avoid disrupting the flow of shuffling. "I take it you had a pamphlet too?" M nodded m's head down to the pamphlet still in the shirt pocket. he mute girl also raised her pamphlet, though hers had large print letters - English, thankfully.

'Hi. I'm Octavia. Woke up in a classroom alone. Was invited as a violinist. Where are the teachers?' Morgan nodded in acknowledgement. Probably easier for her to get this all down in one message. M considered answering when m noticed the door open ever so slightly and a girl slip in, headed towards a darkened corner.

"Well, Octavia, I don't know. I get the feeling, however, there will be more of us, so pardon me for holding off on introductions."

Serena Bellerose

As others started to come into the entryway for the school, Serena’s eyes widened. It was both a surprise and a relief; a surprise in that there were other people actually here, and a relief that, well, other people were there. ”Well there’s others here at least…” she mumbled. Of course this just led to her being uneasy about the fact that there were now other people here. What would they think about her? Now wasn’t the time to worry, but sadly that was just how Serena worked. She worried: a lot. ”Would anyone happen to know what’s going on here? Aren’t we supposed to be attending school?” Serena asked the newcomers, who were mostly all female, except for one guy and one person who she couldn't quite tell.

Honestly, had there not been the one guy there, she'd think it was an all girls school. And where was everyone else in the school? The amount of people who seemed to be coming in did nothing to alleviate any of her fears. ”How many other people do you think there are here?” she asked, before quickly quieting herself. Despite appearing as a princess, it was easy to tell she didn’t have anywhere near the charms of a fairytale princess—or even most real princesses.

Edie Jensen

Edie didn’t expect to see so many other people in the entrance way, especially not before her, but it was definitely a relief. ”Awesome, there are other people here,” she said, offering the group of girls-- and one person that may have been a guy or a girl—a small smile and a wave. ”So you guys were all in the same situation too?” she asked simply. She put her hands on her hips as she looked around, biting her lip.

She looked at the young girl on the floor who was writing on paper—Octavia was her name, apparently. ”Can you not speak?” Edie asked, walking over to her and bending over to get closer to her level. Shortly after, she looked back up at the other people in there, the girl with the tiara and the person who she wasn’t quite sure whether they were a boy or a girl, as well as the other boy that was there, ”So… no one has any idea what’s happening here? Did any of you find other people, or…?” Edie asked.

Whatever the answer would be, Edie wasn’t quite sure it would be good. How did deciding to go to a prestigious school end up like this?

Iris Bradley

As far as she could tell, none of the people in the room noticed Iris when she entered. That was good, the less people that made a big fuss over her in any way, or associated with her in any way, the better. For everyone. She didn’t want people being dragged down by her feelings, by her despair. It would benefit no one, she knew that much. She looked around at the entrance way… it definitely wasn’t a normal school entrance way in the slightest. Security cameras were abundant, and mounted on the ceiling were two things that looked like machine guns. Wait, why the hell were there machine guns in a school entrance way!? Although it kept her feeling uneasy, she managed to hide it well.

And where there should have been a door to get out of the school was replaced by what looked like a giant metal vault door. Why was that there? But whatever reason, it seemed like none of them would be getting out of Orion any time soon…

Now it was just a matter of waiting for these supposed other students. Hopefully none of them would notice Iris. That was all she wanted.

Dieter awoke with a jolt, the way one does when they've slept past the alarm and are aware of it from the moment they open their eyes. It was a familiar situation to him, sleeping past his designated waking hours. Except... this time, as the startled boy blinked his eyes clear from whatever sleep was left in them and looked around, he didn't see the familiar room he was used to, nor did he hear his uncle screaming profanities from the doorway at him for almost missing work. No, what he saw was a classroom, and it definitely wasn't one he recognized. For a moment the boy just sat and stared blankly, confused eyes jumping from the barred windows to the empty desks to the door and back. His heart rate fastened, and he felt a cold feeling of dread flow into his mind. Where... was he?

Oh. Wait, that was right, he'd come to Orion Academy, right? He'd decided to attend despite his adults' wishes... had that been a mistake? A quick look around would tell him yes, but maybe it was too early to decide yet. Orion Academy could have been a clever ruse for an opposing government aware of his title to kidnap him - or this could simply be a very, very peculiar hazing method for new students. It could be anything. Yeah. Anything. So for now he should just... calm down and stop shaking long enough to be able to stand. Fear was poison to a human mind, one far more effective than other nature or human alike could produce. He'd tested it enough times to know.

He stood up, something flaring in the corner of vision and startling him to a near-fall. A... paper? Blinking, Dieter extended a trembling hand and peeled the note off of his forehead. Had he been sleeping on i- oh, who cared. He flipped the thing and gave it a quick read-through, his worries easing a bit. Well, at least this definitely wasn't an enemy government's plot now. They had no reason to keep up the school ruse now that he was aware of it. Hazing, then? Well, there was probably only one way to find out, scary as it sounded.

He'd need to go to the entryway, huh.

Gulping, afraid of what he'd find once there, the boy tiptoed to the classroom door and, drawing in a breath, pulled it open - only to let out a high-pitched scream the second he saw what waited behind it - the face of a fox, staring down at him from more than a dozen centimeters taller.

"Oh?" The face asked, and Dieter quickly realized the animal was just a mask. O-oh. Oh.. for God's... he had half the mind to just-

"So you're awake~?" The man continued in a singy-sangy tone, snapping Dieter from his darkening thoughts and bringing fear back into his eyes. "That's good. The first test subject is finally up and running! I've been sooo bored all alone here."

"... W-what?" Dieter blurter before he could help himself, taking an unconscious step away from the man. It didn't help that he was socially awkward and anxious to begin with; it just made him even more of an emotional wreck now. "Test- Who... who a-are you?!"

"Test, yes, you've been lucky enough to be chosen into a game. My name is Zero, and all you have to do is look for number nine to get out. Easy, huh?" Fyodor shrugged his shoulders, arms casually raised and one leg off the ground as if he was about to fall. "'Coooourse, if you can't get that to work out, the bomb inside your stomach will explode and blow you up into teeny tiny smithereens."

Dieter could have sworn he'd heard something like that before.

And to begin with, he, if anyone, knew that a bomb in the stomach wouldn't-

No, wait, no, now wasn't the time. He was about to be blown up by this madman in a mask! Eyes wide and heart beating in his throat now, the boy stumbled backwards into the classroom, almost hitting a desk. The other man took a step closer, then another, and another, until he was right in front of him. Dieter held his shaky breath.

"Wh-wh-"

"Juust kidding!" Fyodor finally chuckled, lifting the fox mask- and revealing another equally fox-like face underneath, just this one actually human and decorated with a grin. "Got ya, didn't I? Sorry about that. This is actually a game made by the aliens, and I'm a victim too."

It took Dieter a while to recover, and even longer while to reset his mind state to normal. The boy shook his head, and then stared up at the other, still timid but voice more challenging than before.

"Th-that... is a lie, isn't it," he finally managed to ask, heart more steady now, even if his voice still carried a lingering suspicion. "Aliens... d-don't exist after all. Nothing higher than a human does."

"Oh, really?" Fyodor asked, eyes closed, head tilted, and mouth decorated by curiosity. "Hoo... Then, yes, it's a lie. My bad."

Dieter growled at this point, annoyed by the creepy guy's presence and words alike, enough to clear away his stutter for the time being. He never could be both angry and scared at the same time.

"I've gotta go..." He mumbled, pushing past him to finally exit the classroom. "I got a note telling me to go to the entryway."

Fyodor's eyes lit up - or at least, they presumably did, since you couldn't really see them. And so, with few long-legged steps he was behind the shorter man as he walked, all smiles as he waved his own note.

"What a coincidence!" He chirped. "So did I~! Seems like we share the way to go then."

"... Joy," Dieter grumbled as he kept walking towards the designated meeting spot, deciding that ignoring the guy was probably the way to go - at least, until he could steady himself enough to appear normal again.

Silas von Wainright
Silas was still sitting against the pillar when suddenly people entered the entrance hall. It seemed that there were some other people in the school too. He already started to worry that he was the only one. However he still felt like he was the only one as he was the only boy present in the room. Many girls had entered the room and chatted with each other about all kind of things. Well, actually everyone was wondering what was going on. Silas had to admit that there were a lot of cute girls and sexy girls and also one that might be... a boy. Well, that only meant he was to stay out of his... her... its way.

Silas waved hello to everyone coming in but didn't speak. He just kept sitting on rubbing his tummy from the hunger. He wanted to stand up and blend into the conversations but was too hungry to even stand up. He would immediately stand up if there was food present. He would storm right at it. Unfortunately there wasn't any food, which also didn't motivate him to get off his ass. He got a bit cranky from the hunger and shouted. "Where can I get something to eat in this place?!!"
Maria Oathkeeper
Maria was still walking through the corridors, guided by her lord and savior. As she approached the entryway of the school she began hearing voices of others. "Other people are there. Thank you for pointing me into the right direction." she said although she had been walking into the wrong directions this whole time. Once she entered the entryway she saw many people gathered, of which most were girls, like her. She managed to spot a boy sitting on the ground, but other than that there were only girls. Although one of them had some masculine characteristics.

"Hello..." she said with a soft and innocent voice. "I was told to come here after I woke up in a classroom. I do not seem to remember anything, as if He wanted me to forget something. I am a bit scared, I just thought I was going to super high school because of my supreme knowledge about the Bible." she said as if she was going to start crying.

Rosemary Ivy
After a few moments of getting used to the halls, she manage to find the entryway. As she enter, she gulped nervously as she seen the guns on the ceilings, this school really does protection is a bit over the top. But maybe something is very wrong with the school. But at least she isn't the only student who looked confused by this odd ritual of starting the school year. Many of the students appeared to be girls, only one was out right a boy at first glance but the other one appearers they can be either. She decided she needed to introduced herself to the others. "Hello fellow entrapped students." She said in a calm tone, it wouldn't help any if she lost her nerves. She needed to stay calm, for her sake. She sighed. "It appears I'm not the only one who's trapped here for unknown reasons." So it appears to not be hazing ritual like she first thought. What could be possibly happening?

Conrad Shepherd
As Conrad was laying on the ground wondering about his luck and how his life will end in a bloody manner. Will he be stabbed? Suffocated? Shot? Blow up? Poison? Drugged? Tortured? His eyes being cut out?! His fingers being ripped off?! Rip off all his limbs?! Oh god he needs to calm down! Maybe he over reaction, maybe he only here for a test to see how bad his nerves will be shot, if it was that he failed epically.
The voice of a girl made him shoot back to reality. And his panicked state he stood straight up and screamed, "DON'T KILL ME!" And he started running towards the nearest doors, which happened to lead to the entryway.

He opened the door with a slam and he looked up and down the room, seeing mostly girls and couple boys, but his eyes took note of the cameras and guns right away. His eyes bugged out but was hidden by hid shades, and he sweated nervously, his hands became clammy, he felt like he wanted to puke from fear. He went walked straight ahead a couple steps on shaken knees. But he fell when he gotten out of the way of the door. He landed on his knees and than slumped to his side.
"I'm goona die, I'm gonna die, I'm gonna die." He repeated this mantra a few times as he laid on his side.

Lucas Archwood
The red headed young male in question walked through the corridors towards the entryway as dictated by that parody of a pamphlet he was left with. Hopefully he'd get some goddamn answers to what exactly was going on. Eventually Lucas would make it to a set of doors concealing the sounds of commerce. Figuring he had the right place, the Super High School Level ??? pushed open the doors and entered the entryway.

His first impression of the folks gathered was: 'Damn, that's a lot of girls.' It was quite natural though, given that the female:male ratio leaned heavily towards female dominance. Not that it really mattered, anyway. It was just an observation. Lucas raised a hand to wave to the people that noticed him enter, but other than that, he did nothing to announce his presence. Instead, he just migrated towards the wall in wait for whatever the guy who gathered them all here for to make his or her announcement.

Astolfo Garneau
A pink blur dashed into the entryway, practically leaving skid marks as Astolfo just barely stopped before the huge vault door closing the school off from the outside world met his face. He still had his little note from before firmly clenched in his hand, and by the sound of his breathing, he had been running for quite a while. The excited pink-haired Frenchman looked around the entrance hall at the rest of the folk gathered there. "Haha! Yes! Finally found this place," Astolfo exclaimed with a leap and a fist to the air. He would have gotten there sooner, but in his haste he had missed a few crucial turns and had gone through the same halls once or twice.

Once the young man had sufficiently calmed down, he turned to the rest of the group. "Oh hey everyone! Looks like I'm not the only one stuck here, don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing, but y'know, the more the merrier right?" he waved, crumpling up the pamphlet and sticking it in his hoodie pocket. "By the way, did'ja know that the staircase to the second floor is closed off?" he asked innocently.

Anna Brunhild
Rather than head immediately to the entryway, Anna decided to test out some of the doors and explore the floor a bit. She had seen some other students around, though they hadn't seen her, obviously. That meant that whatever the person who decided to kidnap(?) them all would probably wait until they were all gathered, which meant that she had ample time to do her thing. As expected, most of them were locked up and since she didn't have a kit or really anything to pick a lock with on her person, she was forced to abandon them for later. The second floor was curiously closed off, but that mattered not. It seemed all the classrooms were unlocked, and some of them had notices just like the one she was left with, and given the number of rooms, that meant there were somewhere around 15 other students in the school.

Of course, with her analysis all over and done with, Anna decided to head towards the entryway. It's not like there was really anything else to do anyway. Anna entered the entryway without any grand entrance or anything of the like. Really, the only good way to describe it was that she just... got in. The blonde thief crossed her arms and took inventory of the group before migrating to the shadow of a pillar.

Elend Carrol

Elend walked down the hall, mind flashing through the various possibilities of his current situation. None seamed plausible. What was he involved in?

A geeky boy with red-rimmed glasses walked confidently into the entrance way, and then he realized that he was no longer alone. Elend's form seemed to collapse in on itself like a dying, geeky, messy-haired star. Suddenly slouching and staring at his feet, El started to panic. A room full of strangers; his worst fear. With one shaking hand, he reached into his back pocket and pulled out a tack that he'd lifted off of a billboard he'd passed in the hall. El's fingers closed around the small red tack, driving the point into his palm.

Elend meekly walked over to the closest male, a boy with red hair that was leaning against the wall. No amount of pain could mask his fear of the opposite sex. Somewhere in the back of his mind, El couldn't help but ponder for what reason someone would gather so many young people in one place. What was he involved in? Eyes still to the floor, Elend shakily spoke, "U-um h-hello, m-m-my n-name is E-e-e-el-land. I-it's nice to m-meet you." El held out his hand for a handshake, but his own hand seemed to be doing all the shaking already. His other hand slipped the tack back into his back pocket.

Lucas Archwood

As Lucas stood there against the wall, waiting for something, anything to occur, he heard a sound. It seemed pretty... weak and quiet, but fortunately still audible. He could sort of make out a greeting of some type and a name that was probably 'Elen' or 'Elend', but he couldn't really figure out where it was coming from at first hear. The red head's eyes darted around before coming along the sight of a black haired kid with thick, red rimmed glasses holding his rather shaky hand out for a shake. The best word to describe the guy would probably be 'nerd', but he wouldn't say that out loud. Lucas wasn't that impolite, after all.

Lucas gave a reassuring smile to the guy and shook his hand firmly. "Nice to meet you too, man," he greeted in kind, "I'm Lucas." And with that said, he detached his hand from the other young man's lack of grip. It was nice to see someone taking initiative and introducing himself, even if Elend wasn't really confident about it. He wouldn't hold that against him.

Octavia

As the cardshuffler had predicted, more students filed in, each apparently as confused as the rest of them. She waved at those who seemed to want attention, and in between wrote answers to questions she expected - she didn't know what was going on, no she couldn't speak, she would need at least a minute to write so please be patient, she was looking forward to meeting everyone, she did not want a boyfriend, and she took requests. Someone asked about food - a young man. She shrugged in reply. The cardshuffler had pocketed his deck, apparently taking a headcount - and then it seemed all hell broke loose. A boy with sunglasses screaming about dying. A girl in a nun habit fearfully mentioning lost memories. A boy with red glasses shaking in terror. And to top it off, a girl in a pullover hoodie and shorts stomping in and demanding to know what the hell was going on. She raised her hands to her ears. Too loud. Far too much cacophony. A rasping sound began to rise from her throat. She wanted to go home, she wanted everything calm again-

There was a sudden crackle overpowering everyone's voices, as if a small firecracker had gone off, and the cardshuffler was waving smoke from his fingertips. He crossed his arms.

"Okay, first off-" He indicated to the sunglasses boy. "-was anyone sent here as a counselor? I think we need one." She raised an eyebrow at him. Out of everyone so far, she hadn't expected him to try to restore order. "Second, no one seems to know what's going on, so right now it's pointless to get worried." He paused. "Though I wonder why we were sealed on this floor..." Octavia jotted down an answer and waved her bow to get his attention.

'Termite infestation?'

His eye glanced over the words on the paper, and he then chuckled, a bit high-pitched.

"Then I hope we also have an exterminator among us." She smiled; she much preferred this version, the one who she met in the halls. Felt more stabilizing.

Serena Bellerose

All of the new people that had come in definitely was starting to freak Serena out. Sure, she was used to people being around her, but generally never people her own age, generally not shouting or being chaotic, and DEFINITELY not in a situation like this. Then again, she had never been in any situation remotely similar to this before. She knew it was probably more than likely throwing everyone in the now rather large group in the room for a loop, but it was taking its toll on her. Every chance she could, she would take a few rather small steps away from the now amassing chaos of a group to try and give herself a bit of space.

These were people she didn’t know in the slightest, and as such, she didn’t feel comfortable around them in the slightest. She put a hand to her head, making sure her tiara was still there (that was one thing she couldn’t lose at all), as well as to just adjust it and balance it on her head better, and to make it ever so slightly more visible to the people she figured were her peers.

She did figure that people would have to know who she was, sooner or later! …Even if it did make her as nervous as she could possibly be in the process.

Edie Jensen

Over time, more and more people were coming into the entryway, but luckily for Edie and her constant dealing with people, it wasn’t too bad for her. She had an itch to get some drink orders, sure, but the number of people was absolutely nothing to her, so there was that at least. When the rather ambiguous person of the group spoke, Edie shrugged, ”Not me. I mean, sure, people talk to their waitresses, but… I don’t think this’ll work in this situation, not by far,” she said simply. A small blush started to come onto her face after. Who knew what things these people were at Orion for, but she was a simple waitress. It was a bit embarrassing for her, to say the least.

”But, uh… I don’t think everyone is here yet? I mean, there are a lot of classrooms on that floor… and there are a lot of people here, but I think we still might be missing a few,” she added, scrunching up her mouth as she scanned the room.

Whatever she had come into, she figured it wasn’t going to be something simple.

Iris Bradley

Over time, Iris watched more and more people come in from the corner she was standing in quietly. None came over to her, thankfully, but she knew soon everyone would be here and introductions would more than likely take place, and at that point she would feel most vulnerable. She would feel despair, but more than usual, she knew it. She rubbed the back of her head nervously, looking down at the ground. What was going on? Why were all of these new students thrown into this situation?

…Surely it had to be some prank played by the upperclassmen or something?

She didn’t have the best feeling about it, but Iris hoped (as much as a girl like her could) that that was the case.

Maria Oathkeeper

Maria was worried, as she had expectations that some would freak out. As a matter of fact, one of the persons in the room already started freaking out. The blonde with the sunglasses went to his knees and kept saying that he was going to die. Maria saw it as her tasks, as nun, to help the poor boy. She walked towards him, he was only a few steps away, and knelt down before him. She laid her hand on his shoulder and began tried to comfort him.

"Don't worry boy. God wouldn't punish the ones who are pure of heart, and never committed a crime against the Bible. As long as you follow the lifestyle He wants you to follow, then you will be okay. We all will be okay." that was Maria's way to comfort the boy. In her eyes talking about the love of God would always cheer her up. But, even though she doesn't know it, not everyone believes in the same religion as her, or believes any religion at all. Maria stood up and looked down on the boy. "You feel better now?"

Dieter Brauer

Dieter wasn't sure how, but he'd managed to lose the taller man in the end. Or at least, he assumed he'd lost him; could be that the guy was still stalking him somewhere, or separated on his own accord. He didn't know, nor did he really care; he was much more interested in seeing what awaited him at the entrance way. Would it be a bunch of upperclassmen in funny hats, announcing the success of their hazing prank? Or would it be a bunch of dark clad men informing him that he'd been kidnapped, or... or officials demanding for his arrest for his 'crimes against humanity'? Dieter's steps slowed as he drew closer to the answer.

One step, two steps and he stepped into a large open area, filled with similar security measures as the classrooms held, just amped up to eleven. There was an actual, huge gun hanging from the ceiling, pointing towards the humongous metallic gate that barricaded what he assumed to be the exit. There were other people present as well, but none of them had the face of a hazer - rather, they all seemed just as confused as he was. Someone was even on their knees in panic! So this... wasn't any of the options he'd thought of so far? That didn't reassure him, not one bit. His eyes shot back up at the gun hanging from the ceiling, but instead of his gaze carrying a scared look like it had up until now, he seemed more... intrigued, than anything. He'd used guns against people in the past, of course. Shooting people in nonlethal places was one of the most basic forms of torture, after all, but he had never used anything quite this large before. Part of him couldn't help but grow curious - what would be left of a human if they were hit by that?

"Nothing..." he mumbled to himself as if to answer his own, unspoken question, his voice not as shaky as it had been earlier. He sounded almost bored. "Get shot by that thing and every single inch of tissue in your body will rip apart, easily like paper... It'd be over in a few seconds. You wouldn't be able too feel anything before dying - the initial shock would carry long enough for you to die before it fades."

He scoffed. "In other words, an useless machine."

Just then, he remembered where he was. Snapping out of his thoughts, fear returned to his face. Oh, right, people. And there appeared to someone standing directly to his right; a pink-haired boy in a blue hoodie, seeming unnaturally happy despite the predicament. Dieter inched a bit away from him, awkward and not knowing what to do.

"U-uh..." he began, nervous, not sure where to lay his gaze or if he should talk to the other or not.

Fyodor “Fedya” Vasnetsov

Done with his own little quest, Fedya started his peaceful trek towards the entrance way. He had pulled his mask back on his face and pushed his hands into his pockets as he walked, not showing a sign of hurry. He wanted to take the opportunity to look around as he walked. The situation interested him immensely. He couldn't say that he wasn't at all worried - of course a part of any person would be concerned if they woke up in an apparently inescapable building with what appeared to be a form of amnesia - but he wasn't enough so to really let it affect his smile. After all, when all was said and done, this was just one big puzzle, and finding out the answer to that ought to prove interesting. He'd wanted to find the "truth" for so long. Who knew, maybe he'd find it here?

Fedya chuckled as he finally reached the entrance way and stepped in. As if. There wasn't such thing as truth.

"Ooh, so many people~!" He exclaimed out loud the second he entered, one hand raised to his forehead as he leaned in to take a better look. The barred windows nor the gun did really anything to faze him - after all, during his little trip around the first floor, he'd seen similar things. Whoever decorated this place had a one-track mind. Oh, well. He shouldn't be too judging. Aaand he had better things to do, anyway. He wanted to get to know all these people. Interaction was one of his favorite past times, in addition to swimming and skiing. Or... nah, he hated swimming. And had he even done skiing before? Hum. He tilted his head. Ah, anyway.

As he looked around for someone easy to talk to, Fedya happened to notice a girl who tried to stay on the sidelines, most likely trying to avoid being seen. Perfect, this one! He walked up to her, mask still in place and leaned on the wall next to her. He bent down a tad, just enough to be a bit closer to her height.

"Oh, alone here, aren't we?" He questioned playfully, the smirk on his face audible in his words. "Aah, that's so dangerous though, so dangerous. Last time I was kidnapped here, the unsocial ones were the first ones to be picked for 'testing'. I guess that's why I survived! I tend to talk a lot. Sometimes too much. Ah, but then, did you know that not using your voice for a long time can lead to throat deceases? So you could say, I'm preparing for the future! So," he stopped his ramblings for a moment and continued, calmer: "What's your name?"

Serena Bellerose

Luckily for Serena, it seemed like less and less people were coming into the school’s entryway over time, though the last few people that entered seemed to be just as crazy—if not crazier than everyone else who had entered so far. It left her feeling a bit jumpy and she brought her arms closer to herself, as if that would somehow protect herself from the rather eccentric others who had entered.

Of course, this simply kept Serena’s paranoia jumping through the roof. Seeing one of the boys fall to the ground near screaming didn’t do anything to calm her, and set her panic meters off the chart. What was going to happen here? They weren’t going to die, were they?

It was supposed to be a nice school, there was no way they could die… right?

Edie Jensen

As the last few people came in, Edie nodded to herself, starting to count everyone that she noticed. Sixteen? There were about that many people there, from what a quick headcount brought to her attention, and she had gone over the crowd a few times to make sure she got everyone—especially two in the corner who she wasn’t quite sure she had noticed before. It was a few minutes from when the last two boys entered that it seemed like no one else seemed to come in. And, at the least, there were now a few more boys who had come in—which was a lot better than the one boy, the bunch of girls, and the one person who she wasn’t quite sure about. She waited quietly for a few minutes, folding her arms and tapping her feet, before finally deciding to speak up.

”Hey… I don’t think anyone else is coming, you know?” she finally spoke up. She had an easy time with customers, but for some reason, being around so many probably talented peers left her with a slight bit of apprehension. It would pass pretty soon, but starting out she was a bit nervous.

”Shouldn’t we like, introduce ourselves or something? I mean, none of us really know what’s going on… but if we’re all classmates we might as well introduce ourselves, right?” she asked. ”Anyways, I’m Edie Jensen, and I was invited to Orion Academy as a Super High School Level Waitress,” she said, turning a slight red.

Hopefully the others would speak up, and hopefully she wasn’t the only one with a mundane talent.

Iris Bradley

Iris had seen the last few people come in, and, sadly, someone somehow noticed her. She looked down for a bit before looking up at the boy, who was now talking to her, rather confused by what he was saying. ”I prefer to stay out of the way. It’s better for everyone that way,” she told him rather simply, though that wasn’t the end of their conversation by any means. ”What are you talking about anyways…?” she asked, rather confused by what he had rambled on about just a bit earlier. When asked her name, she looked down temporarily, before looking up at the boy who had been talking to her.

”I’m Iris,” was all she said.

Not too long after, one of the other girls—the one with the apron in the center of the room—had talked about everyone introducing themselves. Crap, now her supposed talent would be out in the open. Sure, everyone else’s would be, but so would hers, and she would probably be the bizarre one. SHSL Despair, what a strange, ridiculous talent she had.

”Oh… I guess we’re starting introductions, huh? I wonder what we’ll be doing after this…” she mumbled to no one in particular.
