There's no rush really. You can still keep looking before the RP starts. I'm looking to get an intro post up no later than Saturday morning (PST).

Most of the information I'm intending on adding to the OOC should be up by tomorrow afternoon. I should have my chars up by then too.

Info: A small storage unit that follows Chang around. Floats about four feet in the air, but it's not very large. It's about 7.5 inches across, and while it has no offensive capabilities, it can't be opened very easily without Chang's permission. It's mostly silent, moving around by distorting the air and magnetic fields.

Skills: Having been out in the wilderness for days at a time, Chang can set up a basic campfire and shelter, as well as skin and prepare various animals for consumption or leather, and identify certain types of plants. He can also move extremely quietly in brush and other locations, but if you have good enough hearing, he can be detected.

Personality: Bold and down to earth, he is a jokester at many times, but he is tactful and respectful around other people. He knows how to keep it real.

History: Chang was born in a rather poor part of the city Paracelsus, closer to the outskirts. His family was neither pro-TAC or pro-HALO quite yet, at the time of his birth, but when the war came around, they sided with the Coalition on the grounds that they would provide work and aid to their shambling community. Despite some violence in his neighborhood, Chang grew up to be thoughtful and reasonable, handling things with calculation rather than brute force. Starting at the age of 8, he went out on days where his parents and siblings were out within the city either begging or working for pennies, or learning what they could, he stole out to the forest and countryside, simply wandering around, sometimes for days on end, surviving on stolen materials. Having not enrolled in any formal education, this was one of the only enjoyable ways he could pass the time. After a few years of doing this, he noticed a connection developing with nature and himself, and he became acutely aware of things he used to be completely oblivious to within the forests and meadows that were his home away from home. Shortly after this realization, he found he could tap into his energy stores, applying some basic magic education from one of his siblings into his newfound technique. From his experience, it could mend wounds, but he could only mend so much. Seeing as there were very little healers in his part of town, he found that there was a demand for them, a demand that could result in a good supply of money. From the ages of 13 to 15, he became his so-called "Neighborhood Doctor", capitalizing on his gift. But after a certain point, after he had bought an apartment and began to settle down and get away from a life in that destitute community, that nature called to him once more. The fact that his family was almost hounding him for money didn't help either. That year, war broke out in Paracelsus as well, opposing factions of pro-TAC and pro-HALO nearly destroying the city itself. Thus, he sold his apartment and most of his belongings, save for some survival supplies, and escaped the city and returned to nature's embrace once more, living off the land, be it hunting or gathering. He resolved to further strengthen his bond with nature, practicing his healing magic every so often. During his retreat, he had whittled a staff from a long stick, and he found that he could channel some natural energy to augment his own, fashioning it with different types of flowers and leaves, and carving different sticks into different shapes. He was essentially experimenting with how far he could push the limits of his magic. At some points, he would sell what he had reaped from nature, go back into the city, and live there for a while, so he could maybe lead a normal life, fight in the army, be a good person. But nature's embrace was too tantalizing, and Her spell would always come back to him, and the cycle would continue. When he learned that the Arcane Coalition was recruiting investigators, he enlisted, and the officers recognized his proficient skill in healing as top of class in the Advanced Healing course (for lack of a better name) he took. However, he refused to use any uniforms or weapons issued to him, saying he would lose his "magic touch" if he wore anything but his own clothing or used anything besides his handcrafted cane. They couldn't lose him as a healer though, and after many exasperating encounters with the man, they let him have his way.

Misc: He doesn't like wearing normal people clothes. He says they're too boring.

Completely possible and I'm willing to do it. The only issue (I think) is that there probably isn't too many campaigns happening. There might be operations and missions but never a full military campaign against something. All the countries are at a time of peace (even though they are gearing for war).

Maybe the two were stationed at the same base and Allan was in Emlia's military company when. Allan a private at 18 and Emilia a lieutenant at 23. Allan ending as a Sargent and Emilia ending as a Captain. While their relationship was mostly professional but they would have probably shared a word or two.

Allan, due to his farming accident, would have to recover for about a year or something, Emilia would have joined TAC about a year before him.

Just a thought.

That makes sense. I like the idea of them being at a base together, and if Emilia were his Captain, they would have interacted. Perhaps Allan even made Company Sergeant or First Sergeant and became her adjutant at some point, giving him a deep professional respect for her, which may or may not prove justified.

Info: Bonnie is a scarecrow made from a potato sack stuffed with straw and bones from various sources that is supposed to form a skeleton. Through complex necromancy and months of work, she has been imbued with the remnant life force of a dead pig, horse, and crow. It is important to note that she is not alive, nor does she have a soul. She is merely a puppet that does whatever Morticia commands. Bonnie walks awkwardly and is rather clumsy due to her rudimentary bone structure, and often falls apart at the seams. She is mostly used for simple things like carrying bags and doing simple chores.

Skills: Reading, gardening. Plants are one of the simpler forms of life, and as such Morticia studies and experiments on them frequently to discover the secrets of life and death.

Shortly after Morticia caught the same disease and had the same symptoms. Desperate and unwilling to let another daughter die, her parents turned to The Arcane Coalition for aid. And while their magics were more sophisticated, it was ineffective against the disease. Her condition worsened until she was at death's door. Then one night, when the stars aligned, Morticia fell into a deep slumber. She dreamed of nothing, darkness, an empty void. Then, from the shadows she saw her sister. Her lips were moving but Morticia couldn't tell what she was saying. The next morning the sickness was washed away like it never existed. Her parents thought the healers from the Arcane Coalition saved her and they became passionately PRO-TAC. Morticia was never the same after that. Once in a while she would have strange dreams of places and people she has never seen before. The only constant in those dreams is the image of her sister. She became convinced that there some meaning behind them. She became obsessed with magic, especially the dark kind that tampered with the line between life and death. Morticia scoured libraries for books and attended lectures despite not being a student. Her interest and talent caught the eye of TAC recruiters and she was convinced to join the academy. There she honed her magic skills and expanded her knowledge. But despite all she has learned she still searches for answers.

Misc: While dark magic isn't illegal, it is frowned upon and often kept secret by those who can wield it.

Info: A cockroach that was used as an experiment dummy for different spells, hence the size. After some spell gave him some basic intelligence, like of a rat, He managed to escape. And soon after that Finn found him and made him a pet. Rave is a totally normal cockroach, except for his intelligence and size.

Skills: Cooking, skinning, tracking, spear fighting, tailoring, Archery, long distance shooting.
Blind shoot- From his mixed blood he managed to get the best of hearing from Cathain part and the best sense for smell from Org part, making him capable of accurate shooting without the need to see his target.

History: To most, Finn was a riddle since he was young. A half org, half cathian, orphan was a rare sighting. Most people couldn’t even understand how it is possible for these two races to breed with eachother. One was big the other small. Though Finn was neither big nor small, his body posture was of an Org yet the cathian head confused most. Out of confusion people stayed distant from him. Alone most of the time, Finn learned how to live by himself and take care of himself since young age. From his blood he managed to get the most of bought species, great sense for hearing as scent were passed on to him, also the agility and brute strength. These gifts helped him in his upbringing. As a young boy he learned how to hunt and track game. This became his profession at first and he was more than suited for the job. But as he became older he ventured more and more into the wild. There he was attacked by bandits and outlaws. At first he learned to spot them from far and as he hunted he also kept track of their movement, but soon he realised that sometimes his enemies could not be avoided or shoot from a distance and so he learned how to fight with a short spear. At 25 of age his job changed from a hunter to bounty hunter. Some years later when he was coming from a mission he rescued a man in need and together they had travelled some distance. In this time the man had persuaded Finn to join the T.A.C. organisation. And since the age of 29 Finn has been working for T.A.C. Finn got his best friend Reva one year later while being on a mission.

Info: Ivanov is the result of nearly a lifetime of tinkering. It is considered one of Dmitry's finest inventions. Limited free-thinking capabilities and extremely obedient to Dmitry. In standard form, he essentially operates as a storage unit and another pair of hands, but the unique quality of this form is that Dmitry can wear Ivanov like armor. The motorcycle form is a testament to Kovalev's teenage days. It is mainly steam-powered, but with special enchantments, can clock in at 80 mphs. The Equipment Form is the most important form and Ivanov is quite often in this stage. In the equipment form, he attaches onto Kovalev's back and arm prosthetic, serving as an extra battery that amplifies Kovalev's magical abilities. One of his legs can also reconfigure into a long-ranged sniper rifle, and one of his hands can transform into a short ranged match lock pistol. Because Ivanov is used for a wide variety of purposes, Kovalev must constantly service the robot so its functions continue to run smoothly.

Personality: Witty. Charismatic. Improvisational. Daring.

History: Imygden born, Ranath-mixed PRO-TAC advocator. With over 15 years of T.A.C. Investigator experience, Dmitry has solved over two hundred mid-to-high profile cases. He spent the earlier portion of his T.A.C. career in a Preemptive Strike Unit called the Roaring Tens, a classified project that operated like a military hit squad. Records show that he campaigned in Kadesa, and played an important role in quelling the Kadesan-Golathian border riots of 865 SW. For reasons unknown, Dmitry was reassigned to a T.A.C. precinct back in Imygden as a lead investigator, eventually working up to Chief.

Officially, his exceptional work in the Iron Murlock case is what convinced the higher ups to assign him as Vanguard Leader to the Interceptors. The Iron Murlock case involved a deeply seeded syndicate that operated under the jurisdiction of Deigns. They were called the Shady Hilt, and they conspired to commit a web of terrorist attacks all across Kadesa and Imygden.

While many of the low profile incidents could not be helped, it was the big tamale that they were building up to that Dmitry prevented from happening. Reports indicate that Kovalev went in with a team of six, successfully infiltrated their fortress in the Narrow Coves (located along the southeastern coast line of Deigns) and wiped out all two hundred conspirers. The case is called Iron Murlock, because it is named after the submarining golem the Shady Hilt retrofitted as a 12 ton seismic bomb. Upon detonation, everything within a fifty mile radius would have instantaneously been leveled. Key suspects in the upper hierarchy of the syndicate were apprehended and are currently serving their life sentences at a cavernous prison ward.

The 4th Mage of The Eight, Maritori Kujan, reached out to Dmitry personally about putting together The Interceptors.

Misc: Kovalev entered the Coalition with the metal prosthetics. He gives many different explanations as to how the incident came about, but never admits to the true story. "It's nothing dark and mysterious, trust me. More embarrassing really." - His usual response.

Info: Wulgoth earned Gwar's companionship after surviving as its prey. They fought mercilessly in the Northern Forests of Kadesa until they reached a stalemate. Wulgoth says the blood from their wounds had mixed, solidifying their bond as equals. Gwar is a silent tracker that never leaves tracks. Its bite can stun, and the harder the bite, the intense the electricity builds. Further enchantment achieved during his time as a T.A.C. student resulted in a menacing imbuement that when fused with Wulgoth, unleashes a primal wolf monster encased in stone and steel.

Skills: Calligraphy, Fishing, Scouting, Tracking, Photographic memory, Arena style wrestling/grappling/fighting.



Equipment/Weapons: Dual scimitars and dual one-haded axes.

Personality: Menacing. Violent. Calculating. Honest.

History: Not much is known about Wulgoth other than the fact that he is a mix-blood from the Hivera Isles. Of all the T.A.C. Operatives, he is among the most controversial of members due to his checkered past as a gladiator in Golathis, and thief to a very prominent pirate guild in Deign. In fact it is rumored that before his enlistment, he was sentenced to death for crimes committed in Kadesa. If it weren't for the good graces of a Sir Machian Devari, honorary Ark Knight of the Royal Guardsmen, Wulgoth would be running around in the afterlife with his head cut off. Some type of deal was made; Perhaps a challenge of swords, one that if Wulgoth could pass, granted his freedom - under the condition that he enlist of course. Some say that Sir Machian saw goodness in him and wanted to believe that he could change for the better. Perhaps Wulgoth wanted to believe that too.
