Indeed there are. If KL decides to give preference to Hell of a Life because he was in the old RP, I will come up with new powers, but I did post my CS first.

I'd feel like a major dick if I just took the power, but it also comes at the fact that we were both first in something, I really want to see what Latern says about it.

I mentioned some thoughts on the idea of having two shifters. I see it working out much in the same way both Feral and Wolfsbane operated in the X-Men universe at the same time in the early 90's. I've thought on the powers and how to make them different to separate the characters moreso than they already are, let me know what you guys think.

Animus - in human form he has the ability to mimic animal powers, I'd write this off as having a feral sense like Wolverine with heightened vision, smelling, and hearing as well as heightened physical attributes [strength, speed, stamina]. He also has the ability to shift into animals for short periods of time [not including bugs just for difference' sake?].

Chimera - in human form... he's human. Chimera's power is like Animus' on crack. He can use more than one animal or bug [or arachnid] trait at a time and only becomes as gruesome as he has to. He can shift into a tiger with huge bat wings and a scorpion tail, or he could still be a humanoid with six limbs like an insect and exo-skeleton armor like an armadillo.

Basically, Animus is like Sam Merlot from True Blood. Chimera is like something out of a science fiction movie. I could see a friendly rivalry in the field from these two.

Yep I like it, it could definitely create a cool dynamic between our characters, Perhaps even a rivalry. I think I'm gonna tweak Zhayne's power just a bit since he's been at the mansion for a few years instead of being new. He should now have better control over his powers than before.

Good idea. I'm getting really excited for this RP to start, and I look forward to whatever dynamic develops between our characters.

Weaknesses - When there is a large amount of people in an area Colbey gets over stimulated very easily. Making it very hard for him to use his abilities to the fullest of his power. Because he’s been able to read thoughts most of his life he has grown to miss trust other people. For he has constantly only seen the bad in them.

BRIEF Bio - Aleister was sixteen when he started showing signs of being a mutant. He was said to be a schizophrenic just hearing voices. Of course these weren’t made up voices like the doctors, parents, and teachers said they were. They were real. They were the voices of people all around him. The meds didn’t work they just made him gloomy and depressed. At eighteen he discovered he could move things with him mind. That’s when he found out he wasn’t ‘normal’ anymore. By this time he had learned to some what control the voices and emotions that drifted to him unwarranted and without his permission. He had done so by meditation. Shortly after he was diagnosed with schizophrenia he had turned to meditation. It helped calm him and it was the only thing he found to keep the voices and emotions away. Thats why he stopped taking his meds at seventeen. He continued his own personal training of his powers, and started researching Psychology. Quickly stumbling upon two great minds of the 20th century. One Carl Jung a Psychologist that worked on dreams and the subconscious and the role mythology had on the mind. Leading to the other, Joseph Campbell a Mythologist who spoke about the power of Mythology and what role it took in not only life but the world. These two men brought a great hunger to Aleister. A hunger for understanding of the mind. He started researching all things related to the mind. It wasn't long until he discovered that he was a Psychic. A real Psychic not one of those fake ones on the Tv. He mastered his mind powers the best he could on his own for the following years until he was 24 years old. Thats when he was found by one of the ‘X-men.’ They brought Aleister to the school where he enrolled and started his learning. Quickly learning to control his powers on a whole new level.

That was sorta' the point, darlin'.

Jeanvieve would pretend not to enjoy sitting and listening to everyone else talk and sing. And, you know, she'd totally help set up the camp 'cuz survival is, like, her whole schtick.

Also, KL why for are you laughing at poor little V? She can't help she's amazing...and just for that (because I totally wasn't going to do this anyway) I'll give her a penchant for knives and otherwise sharp and pointy objects of elimination.
