Siegeworks

Hello, i'm tossing up a general RP concept involving a small crew in the army, during a siege in 14th century England. The basic setting would involve a myriad of opportunities, interacting with non-pcs in the encampment, as well working with other players for operations around the camp, including, yes, using siege weapons. I'd be looking for six people interested in this idea, from there, i'll develop how to start everyone, on arrival at said castle, then break it all down. If interested, just let me know. If I've picked up six....who knows, people die when a boulder lands on them...no cartoon characters or God-Chars allowed.

Shiny objects are fun, except when the sun is too bright, then they can be a bit squinty...or glaring. Either way, get a fun pointy helmet though, deflects impacts.

Why not? I'm in. Be warned however I've only done basic combat Rp.

basic combat works, unless you swing the burning torch down. You see, someone dropped black powder all over the ground....and Vortex lifts off.

So, right now we have Kat, RPG, Vortex, paige and me...we can wait for one more person, or I could toss in an NPC to tinker with.

Remember, you're dealing with 14th century weapons, armor and equipment. Ants do crawl inside the armor, so you might want an inn. I'll start cooking up some number for basic starting gear, but if anyone is thinking of something special equipment-wise, let me know. And no, chainsaws are not period.

I don't know nothing about the 14th century. That's your area;p

Out of curiosity who are we and who are we against? And in what terrain?

Vortex, no nukes....at least if you don't eat the rabid wildlife. Also, going with the English, going up against an unnamed Scottish castle in the central highlands.
