Welcome to Marchen, the world of Fairy tales. It's a magical place, but, despite what you've been told, it's a dark and dangerous world as well, especially for a young maiden like the one you will shortly be creating. Monsters and spiteful rivals live here, and you should do best to play it smart as you are still but a small frog in the ocean of power and politics that is Marchen.

Each subsequent Maiden you will take control of will start as a newly minted sixteen years old, with a monthly task or event she must solve before the thirtieth day is up or risk the wrath of Fate. Moreover, each day will come with a Chore, that must be completed unless you want your Maiden to degrade with each missed chore. On top of that, each week you will be given ten Exploration Points, or EP for short, that will be available for use. Be aware that they are risky endeavours, however.

Not all is all work and no play, however, for each successful Event, Chore or Exploration will bring your Maiden it's rewards. Plus, each shore takes no more than eight hours at most, so there is time for more leisurely activity and learning.

The goal, at least the most pressing one, is to better your Maidens' situation,that it may through prowess or advantageous marriages.It's harsh, but you start as a mere servant girl, you need to get out of wretched poverty and non-existent social status somehow.

Each Maiden will start with the following stats, regardless of further bonuses given by the previous Generation:

Cunning: 1
Charm: 10
Athleticism: 2
Courage: 5

Furthermore, you will have the ability to learn skills, transferable to each subsequent generation once learned. At first, you will only know of the following:

Cooking,
Cleaning,
Sewing.

Don't hesitate to try new things, but remember to stay safe!

Finally, there is currency, at first, you start without any copper to your name, but each Chore will earn you a modest but growing wage as you better your situation, so keep an eye out for employment!

Yes, though I think she should have plenty of room to be different from the others, with enough imagination :)

Maiden's Personality:
Sweet and caring, Bria is hardly one to purposely hurt someone. She finds value in all life, and likes to talk with others, even though she is fairly shy. Even though she would like to spend more time in the woods, she's too afraid to go out on her own. Bria is very honest, and very rarely stretches the truth. She's timid, and is often to scared to speak up, letting others walk all over her like nobody's business. Bria is also quite lazy, and won't do much without first being asked, although she is always the first to volunteer if she were to help a friend in need. Bria loves to sit and observe, and she's quite intuitive about how others are feeling because of how quiet she is. She's not very sure of herself, and lacks confidence. Nevertheless, she's rather spirited, and has ambitions of her own. As of now, she's not sure how she should go about pursuing those ambitions.

I imagine her in a bare room in a manor. I doubt she'd be so brave to live in the woods, far from other people's company.

Got it, I see the town as being between a cliff leading to the sea and a forest. The manors are nearer the cliff, so she will be on the opposite outskirts than the forest, far away from the fiendish beasties x3!

Maiden's Personality:

Elora is a sarcastic girl who doesn't care about others. She thinks of herself first and foremost and has a strong will to survive. She understands the importance of picking her fights, and often will remain quiet under authority unless she is positive she would be able to win in a brawl or an argument. Observant and manipulative, Elora finds ways to exploit others to do her bidding if she doesn't feel like it. She's ambitious and desires the most to be at the top of the world. However, she is immensely loyal to those she actually connects with and will always help a friend as long as it does not jeopardize her life.
