Physics can break the body. Bioweapons can obliterate it. Painfully. Over a long time. With no chance of reprieve.

The worst forms can do it so that it remains undetected until it is too late to stop. And if she develops the hoped-for version, it won't be traceable back to her, as the weapon will self-destruct after mission is complete. Just imagine... A small sample is ingested as part of a meal. It is unnoticeable. Over the next time period (week, month, whatever) it attacks something vital, like the kidneys, liver or such, striking slowly, breaking it. Making it fail slowly. When that is done, the virus self-destructs and is naturally destroyed by the body or purged from it the way any other waste product is. Then, a week or a month later, the person slowly weakens as the affected organ(s) slowly ceases to do its job. As a healthy individual, the body can last a while before the buildup of bad things affects daily function. Perhaps long enough for the organ(s) to fail completely. By that time, unless they have a replacement on hand then and there, it is simply too late.

As this happens weeks or even months after the original insult, most, if not all, have forgotten it. Organ failure can occur in even the healthiest individuals. There are too many things still unknown about the human genome.

Mind you, it takes more than a simple insult to get Ylva to do such to anyone... We think...

Physics can erase you from existence...

And it can also create nanobots, which is physics and engineering.
And what are nanobots capable of?
Breaking you down, particle by particle.

It also is easier, and more efficient.
Also, my favorite part, OVERKILL

Checkmate?

We're thinking remis, as in both being terribly lethal if used right/wrong. But then, bioweapons are more epic. Nanites are pretty boring. Besides, your physics needed aid from engineering. So, yes, checkmate. In our favor.

But bio needs help from Bio engineering.
And bio weapons are basically the same as nanites, except not as efficient and reliable

Screw both your arguments...A good sniper round through the leader's head is all you need...or maybe the spouse of the leader to cause emotional pain...

Alright folks, due to Seps minimal presence online right now, I will be moving us on soon.

At the very least we'll all be on ship and headed to the first destination.

I have some thoughts on a Tok'ra Scientist/researcher, are they still open for play?

Per right now, all the Tok'ra slots are filled, but there are plenty of Tau'ri researcher slots left.

Sorry for the double post but question about my CS. Are we assuming that the United States Air force is the still the primary branch in regards to the SGC and the SG program. I know there was at least one unit of Marines during the show, but is it acceptable for other branches to be more wide spread or is it still preferred to by USAF?

The Langford is crewed by people from all sorts of nations, so it could be possible for there to be someone from the other US branches.

Name:
Jason Miller

Callsign:
Prongs

Age:
26

Rank/Title(Dependant on position):
2nd Lieutenant - U.S.A. Army

Appearance:
Found here.

Role:
Primarily - Exotic Zoology Researcher. Secondary - Rifleman

Nationality:
American - Oklahoma - Tulsa Area

Biography:
Born and raised in a small town just outside Tulsa in the east part of Oklahoma Jason's life was quiet and sheltered compared to some of those he attended bootcamp with. Coming from a family of law enforcement officers, Jason knew that the life of his father, uncle, and grandfather was not one the he wanted to live. Instead of pursuing a life as a L.E.O. after highschool, Jason enrolled at the University of Oklahoma majoring in Zoology with a specialization to exotic animals of South America. During his junior year of college, a long time friend of Jason's went to see an Army Recruit and took the young zoologist in training with him with the promise of a beer on him after. During his talk with the recruiter, both men were dragged into the hype and aura of being a soldier for the United States Army. Two weeks later both men, signed their contracts and swore their oaths.

Fast Forward to Graduation of College, both men left and each were sent to a different bootcamp. Jason was sent to Fort Sill in southern Oklahoma where he learned to be a soldier, rifleman, and later after bootcamp a leader. The following two years, Jason served his country to the fullest. Serving one tour of duty in Iraq and then one deployment to the Columbia with a detachment of soldier, helping them identify and learn the local wildlife. It was after this deployment his C.O. placed his name into a pool of other names for a special operation training experienced for qualified, higher educated personal with select areas of knowledge. This is how 2nd Lt. Jason Miller found his way to the SGC and then to the crew of the Catherine Langford.

Personality:
As one of the younger members of the SGC and the Langford's crew and one with some of the least experience both in his field of study and combat he has alot to prove to the older members of the crew. Jason is a smart and bright, young man but is also nice and caring man as well, sometimes to a fault. Though, he is young and sometime doesn't fully think his plans through, he is intelligent and follows orders. He is being sent on the Langford, first as a researcher and scientist who is able to defend himself from whatever creatures, aliens, or other beings they come across and then study them.

Trivia:
Master's Degree: Unable to get his PHD due to the call of the Army, he is still a very qualitfed personal, at least in the eyes of the U.S.A.

Rifleman Training: Serving in a combat, he put his rifleman training to the test. Decent marksmen falling into the top 25% of his class he is better than some but not as good as others.

Leadership Training: Having a degree at the beginning of your military career comes in handy and this allowed Jason the ability to attend officer training right off the bat.

--More to come-- Will prolly add more to it as time goes on as well as flesh out his backstory a bit more.

I'll get to reading it shortly.

Its an interesting character.

Did his studies focus on animals of that region in general, or was it especially about a specific group of animals? (mammals, arachnids, fish, lizards, insects, etc)

Prongs, this is a well-put together sheet.

You are accepted, but remember that when Sep returns he may want to give his opinion as well. Don't worry about that too much though.
Movement post is planned out and I'll write it first thing tomorrow. I want to re-iterate that this was not meant to be my job and I'm almost as in the dark as the players about a lot of plot things right now so please bear with me through the delay.
