Sounds good. Should I just put up a ret-con post if he hasn't replied by the time I get back on tomorrow, or do you plan on posting something to maintain continuity (maybe assuming that there's some sort of armor malfunction that requires a last-minute replacement?) ?

Mr. Pink did respond, but he said he wouldn't be able to continue due to a ton of homework he received recently. As for how to fit your character into it, the best thing to do would probably be to just assume that you had always been there with that group. Otherwise it will require a lot of more or less unnecessary editing. Once I get home, I'll try to contact everyone else to see if they are still interested in continuing. It might also be worth it to revive the interest check as well.

Alright, cool. If you could just edit the section that called heroes out to the mission, I'll be back on later today, and should be able to put up a post to catch myself up to Zephyr and Red Rain! :-)

No worries; life happens!

I should be able to post no later than tomorrow morning, but I'd like to clarify one thing about the intended mechanics of Geist's telepathy beforehand: unless I specifically mention a pace for his mental speech, the communication is nearly instantaneous, so I don't think the planning period would have taken quite as long as it seems to have, based on the boss' comments in your latest post.
Also, as far as any of the bad guys should be able to tell, Geist is still completely in the open, just completely unaffected by their bullets. XD

It would still take time to make sure that everyone was on the same page, and with the boss's hotheadedness, any pause would have made him irritable. Even if it was just a few minutes, a combat-oriented situation would have made it seem a little longer than it normally would have. I'll go ahead and edit this if its really a problem, but I figured spacing it out a little bit helped with posting.

As for Geist's illusion, it's just sitting there, right? Unless it was actively moving, it wouldn't appear as life-like as normal, and the goons probably would have either figured that it was a decoy or decided to ignore it because it wasn't doing anything. I will edit that to make it a little more clear, however.

EDIT: I went ahead and tweaked it a bit. Tell me what you think. :D

Edit: Also, I think that part of the issue I'm having is that I didn't realize that the communication would be seen as taking more than a few seconds, so I didn't really specify anything for the illusion to be doing (though it seems, to me at least, that any experienced illusionist would actually have something for their illusions to be doing, in order to preserve their effect), which may have made it seem to you that it was just sitting there for the span of a few minutes, since that's how long it sounds like you're saying the brief exchange took.
I'm actually having trouble coming up with a post that doesn't either seriously break character or contradict the timeline/continuity that you've laid out, so if anyone has any suggestions, I'm open to ideas.
