The bio is a little short, but the personality section is at least two lines and there's not much else to say about the backstory, so, um, accepted.

I could make the CS longer and more dramatic, but I've decided to leave it short and to the point...'cause I'm lazy. Say the word, boss, and I'll get to work ti expand it.

Our doll to doll master ratios are pretty uneven...
Thankfully, there seems to be quite a healthy amount of interest in this. When do you believe you'll have the OoC up?

Well, given the amount of interest, hopefully soon. ^^; I would like to see some more Doll Masters posted, as well as bios from people who expressed interest and haven't posted their bios yet.

That's fine - I'll edit the backstory and some of the personality traits while keeping the basic concept reasonably similar (maybe taking a little more of a trickster and wheeler-dealer tone than a smuggler). Does the Doll seem alright?

Doll Master

Name: Dwayne Anthony

Gender: Male

Appearance: Pale, heart-shaped face with a pointed chin and high cheek bones. Long black hair that just touches his shoulders. His hair is always either fully or partially wet from swimming in whatever clear water body he finds. He tucks hair behind his left ear on which he wears a black earring. He leaves the other empty to maintain a dark feel. He always wears dark clothes and puts eye liner. He has bright blue eyes. He prefers to not wear a coat over whatever he is wearing, even on a cool, breezy day . He is 5'8" but just to appear to be taller so he wears shoes with two inch platform. He custom makes his clothes and gets his hair cut and styled in a salon to always look the exact same even when its wet.

Personality: He likes to think he is the cool, mysterious, silent type. But he is really a child with aggravatingly excessive zeal for what everyone is doing or saying. He gets easily influenced by what people do or say and doesn't have a strict opinion on anything. His older brother, Aron used to fancy himself the slave of devil when he was a teenager and Dwayne tried to copy his look and personality. He is always friendly and cheerful, especially when he is confused about how to react to a certain situation, and he is usually confused about how to react about something. There is nothing that really upsets him. He doesn't easily lose his temper.

He likes cute furry things, especially cats and rabbits but he doesn't harbor any sort of love for anything not human. The beauty is all he appreciates and he won't feel any remorse for anything that dies if it has become ugly first.

Backstory: Dwayne was brought up in an upper class family. His mother and father were liberal minded people who believed in allowing their kids to do whatever they thought was right. Aron, his older brother, adopted several looks and styles during his hormone-driven adolescent life, but the most prevailing look was the last, the dark look and personality, which Dwayne now in his 20s adopts. Aron succeeded his mother in her fashion and retail industry becoming the chairman after she died in an accident with one of the malfunctioning machines. Their father is a wildlife and animal researcher who is hardly home because of his travels all over the world. Dwayne being the youngest was never neglected, always given what he wanted but somehow it didn't produce a spoilt brat.

Also, one quick question - have we already bonded with our Doll before the game starts or does that happen in-game? I was under the impression that our characters had to have already undone a suitably high-danger or high-stress event for their Doll to have appeared to them.

I should have my two masters and dolls up by today if everything goes well. But I'm planning with a couple people so I actually already know who I'll be paired up with! Hope you don't mind VitaVitaAR! ^^;

@Mist: His outfit seems a bit too modern, to start with.

@Ardent Dawn: You can do either, I planned for my current Doll Master to get her Doll in the first or second post, but not everyone has to do that.

@kittenlover: That's fine, it's perfectly okay to plan it out beforehand.

Also, I... might be making a second set of characters just because I have a bit of an idea. ^^;

Edit: I would also like to point out that, though you obviously don't have to since all the Dolls so far have weapons that aren't unfitting for the time period even if they're a bit strange in some cases, that Dolls can have totally anachronistic weapons. For example, chainsaws and rocket launchers.

Dwayne's mother was a fashion designer, she liked to experiment with clothing. And even for those times, there were rebellious people like Aron. Because they were brought up to do whatever they wanted, Aron dressed up differently. It wouldn't be considered normal to wear completely black with dark makeup I think. In period dramas, they were pretty colored up anyway. But if you don't like it still I could change the clothing.

Also...uhhmmm...should we discuss whose getting paired up with who?

@Ardent Dawn: Okay, um, for your Doll, I'm kind of confused about the appearance thing. They don't create a form upon entering the world, they have it beforehand.

@Mist: One of the things that bothers me the most is the clip-on earring. I also don't think leather jackets were as widespread, starting to see use in the military from what I recall. If you can come up with an alternative for it the rest can stay.

@Major Ursa: You can start discussing that if you want.

Name: Dead Heart Shooter
Gender: Female
Appearance: "Ah! I have to introduce you! Stand still stand still stand still!"
Personality: Dead Heart Shooter is energetic, bubbly, and extremely cheerful. This does not, however, counteract the fact that she is not entirely right in the head. While she is not some random killer due to her imbalance, she is far too eager to kill anyone who wrongs her or her Doll Master regardless of the circumstances. She is also totally obsessed with her Doll Master, never leaving their side no matter what happens. She fanatically follows her Doll Master's every order, which can restrain her from harming people. She can quickly go from being cheerful and affectionate to murderous in seconds. Dead Heart Shooter can even insert threats of murder into otherwise cheerful conversation. In spite of her willingness to kill people, she's not interested in hurting innocents and somewhere deep down does realize it's not right. It's just that she doesn't consider people who wrong her or her Doll Master innocent anymore. Her desperate attachment to her Doll Master stems from a deep sense of loneliness. Dead Heart Shooter becomes lonely extremely easily. She is terrified of abandonment and rejection. Dead Heart Shooter will do anything to please her Doll Master so she is not rejected. She will even eagerly cook for them.
Abilities: Unlike many other Dolls, Dead Heart Shooter has little to no physical fighting capability. While she is far more durable then human beings, her only real physical combat skill lies in evasion. At least, as far as directly fighting goes. Her real power, and what makes her so dangerous, is her weaponry.
Weapons: Dead Heart Shooter technically wields two weapons, though one is stored inside the other.
Rocket War - A huge iron maiden. Though Dead Heart Shooter is small, it still dwarfs even people who are fairly tall. The bottom is open, and protruding from it is a mass amount of explosive weaponry, or other, similar weapons. She treats it like a person, and enjoys introducing to her enemies by shooting at them with it. In fact, Dead Heart Shooter enjoys firing Rocket War far, far too much. They can all be fired simultaneously, but aside from their ability to harm Dolls, Marionettes, and Puppeteers they are otherwise unremarkable. Rocket War stores Dead Heart Shooter's second weapon.
Slaughter Arms - The massive shadowy arms that emerge from Rocket War. Impossible to cut with anything but the sharpest edge, Dead Heart Shooter controls them in order to block, parry, and attack at melee range. They wield a large, barbed, black weapon with immense power behind it when swung. However, they possess little in the way of unique powers beyond this.
Misc: Dead Heart Shooter is a terrible, terrible cook. The result of her cooking could even be weaponized.

Um, another thing I forgot to mention is Dolls... Dolls can kind of have very, very weird names. Or things that aren't names at all. The ones that do have real names tend not to have surnames, though they can(like what VV stands for). But, um, basically, things like "Black Rabbit" are perfectly acceptable names for Dolls.

Also my second Doll Master will be going up soon too.

I know that I'm paired up with Krinos and Lionheart! But that's the information I have right now! :)

I mean, I haven't done anything about pairing up my guy yet, but I just wanted to know what pairings other people had...
