Beringer was, surprisingly, met with an unprecedented amount of reaction to his words. Delphia at first simply averted her eyes from Beringer's crouched position and refused to place her hand upon his, but she nevertheless uttered a first word to the group.

"Sure," she mumbled, her eyes still traced to the side. She seemingly disliked such close eye contact. Beringer's communication was short-lived, however, as Ulysses brazenly motioned to take Delphia into his metallic clutches. The girl was hoisted up without an issue and without a peep; for all Ulysses abrasive tendencies, Delphia made no motion or word to avert being placed on his shoulder. She remained as unenthusiastic as ever, retaining the ever-apathetic gaze away from any and all direct vision.

The scientist looked a tab bit pleased at her quick "integration" (if nay of the champions were willing to call it that), and took a few steps backward as if to surrender her to their care finally. With a monstrous, long bow, the doctor gave his goodbye's, some final words of encouragement, hope, and thanks, and disappeared in a flash of light, indicative of his leave from Agar Mythos itself. All at once, the world seemed to fade back into place.

Their meeting location was, at first, seemingly a nameless building with an address in the outskirts of Titan, a mountainous city reflected in the real world upon Mt. Fuji itself. Upon entering the room initially, it was a dull grey, littered with various chairs, electronic boards, and miscellaneous messages. It seemed to be a doctor's office of some sorts, but as the doctor himself had appeared, it was altogether lightning quick and unexpected; he had warped in, Delphia in tow. At that moment, the room too instantly changed, growing deathly quiet and seemingly removed from the world. Now that he was gone, things returned to normal, and the sounds of a common pedestrian bustle outside once more reached their ears.

Marian's gesture was responded with swift handshake.'How rude. I was trying to be friendly and she seems to want little physical contact with me.' She nods to what Mai says, though she still thinks this girl might pierce her with only her eyes if she stared a little harder. Maybe she was able to see through Marian's facade? That seemed likely, but Marian tried to be the comical relief in such a tense situation. "Oh god, please don't stare so hard, Miss Mai. I might get pregnant." She says, holding her face with her right hand and blushing rather hardly. Yep, she is so good at acting that she can even fake blushing. She lets out a giggle. "Oh, please, don't mind me. It is just that I can't stand it when the mood gets so heavy." Marian said with a lively voice, before turning to hear what the other sister had to say and taking the folder from her hands.

Ki gets out of her jacket a pair of earphones, which most likely are designed to keep communication with her sister. 'Hmm... This girls seem resourceful, seems it won't be so bad after all to be paired with them. And I like Mai's attitude. Trusting her instinct rather than her sense can be crucial at times.' She admires how this sisters are coordinated. Ki turns to her and apologizes for not having bought one for her. It was something to be expected, really. Marian herself wouldn't have thought about them while buying something like that even if she had known that they were her teammates. "Don't worry, dear Ki. It'll be my pleasure to add you to my contact list." With the swipe of her hand, she stores Ki's number in her already vast contact list. Too much men she had to seduce in past missions. With another swipe of her hand, she deletes every contact in her contact book. To be honest, this is the first teammate contact she has stored in her contact book. The first teammate that wasn't interested in Marian romantically, anyway.

Her face changes to one of disbelief after she hears Mai say her title, since she tries to only use her powers when she gets serious, she thought rumors about them wouldn't be circling around. Maybe she overdid it that last time she was challenged to a duel? Well, whatever, at least she wouldn't have to lie about them as well and go all out on Sprite. "My, where did you hear that? Yes, that's me, I am Marian Dylas, the Gravity Mistress, but I don't like being called that, so just call me Marian." She runs her hand through her hair. "So, if it isn't too much to ask, may I hear your titles as well? It seems only fair if you already know mine."

Mai grinned at the girl's joke, a little loosely now seeing how her reactions were met to expectations. Still not a single hair out of place when she shifted back to her usual "self", truly impressive. It was like she was made to do this sort of thing. Looking at the motions, she wondered how she got so good, and what it has any relation to her title of "Gravity Mistress." This one was hiding something, and that alone made it more entertaining. Most people held their beliefs at their collars, and only sitting down for 5 minutes Mai could conclude what kind of person they may be. But not Marian. Not that it should mattered to her, "companions" and other such things never stuck around too long after missions were finished.

Everyone had their own paths to take in life, and Mai understood this fact.
After all, she was just some lazy shut in that chooses to stay in her room all day instead of going outside to socialize like her sister. In a way, she owed her sister for providing a home environment worth living in. Ki was careful though, and made sure to keep them safe from people who wanted them gone.

Marian seemed doubtful of where she got this information, but confirmed that it was true nonetheless. She asked them in return for their titles, causing Mai to laugh a little, "Word gets around pretty fast concerning us champions, if one knew where to look of course." shrugging, "I'm just called, plain and simple, "The Watcher."

Turning to her sister, she awaited her response, feeling something like this should be answered from her own mouth. She of course knew how she loved to talk with new people anyways, and Mai wouldn't mind being the backseat of a conversation. It was just the way she liked it.

Dear... Ki? Have I met her, before?
"So, if it isn't too much to ask, may I hear your titles as well? It seems only fair if you already know mine."

"I don't see the importance in titles, really. It's just fluff added to your name- it's not like it boosts my combat status or benefits me in any way. Regardless of this, I am The Lost Soul, adopted child of the Najisefas."
"Right then. It says here Sprite is sighted most commonly in the Central Hub. As the area is rather large, we should go there to start. If we don't see him for some period of time, we can branch off into the districts. We should probably always carry enough money to teleport, because once we sight him, we should initiate battle and stall him for as long as possible, for the others to come - following him is too dangerous. At least that's a way to start." Ki said. "So, any objections? The plan is subject to change, of course." Ki had been analysing the problem intently while everyone else was talking. She looked at the list of victims again- it was extremely peculiar.
One of them, well known for her dedication to learning and recording. Another- the Associate of the Expedition Brigade who maps the developing world of Agar Mythos. The Mapper and recorder of newly spawned NPC's in the furthest reaches of Agar Mythos. Then, Aurora champion who possessed vast knowledge of the worldmap and its people. And also the High Priest of the Agar Mythos Internal Database.
---
It is as if sprite.. is trying to erase the existence of Agar Mythos's history. As if.. to cover something.

Ulysses HAMMERJUSTICE

Ulysses couldn't wait to show little Delphi all the cool things there were! Surprisingly enough, there really was quite a lot of things to do that didn't involve shooting people. Although, he'd probably avoid showing her how to shoot things. He doubted she could handle the recoil. She seemed to not care much for direct eye-contact, or speaking much, though somehow Ulysses actually managed to pick up on that. "Don't wanna talk, huh? That's okay, just talk when you feel like it." He said. then, the blue-haired guy formally introduced himself. Ah, Averus! that was his name! Then he said that word, Subtlety. He kept hearing people say that, usually complaining about a lack of it. The hell did that even mean? "there's that subtlety thing again, or whatever. Why would there be a word like that? It doesn't even sound nice..." He mumbled to himself.

It was then that Averus asked for him to put Delphi down so he could take her 'measurements.' that line sent quite a few creeper alerts off. "Uh, I'm not sure that's a good idea..." he said, his expression quite clear that he found what Averus said deeply disturbing. it was then that the Crow-girl asked him to put her down as well. However, the last part of her request confused him. "But wouldn't less attention make it harder for the bad guys to find us?" Ulysses asked. After all, hiding wasn't fair play. He Hated it when his opponents hid from him, and couldn't really imagine doing that to someone else. he hated cheating after all. "I'll let her down if she wants to be let down." he said, a certain finality in his tone. Although he didn't ask her if she wanted to be up there (Mostly because he didn't think she'd answer if he asked), he felt that she should get to decide for herself. In any event, the scientist left, changing the room back.

When he heard the people outside, he felt better. "Ah, good. We can get started! Come on, I'll show you the fountain! Then we can go see the garden!" He said, smiling. He frowned however, when he remembered that the doorway was too small for him to get through with Delphi on his shoulders. "Hey, watch this!" he said as he focused. Metal parts from the lower part of his backpack flew out and reassembled into his Sniper Rifle, Gungnir. He chose this weapon because it's magnetic rails made it the quietest to fire, and he thought that his other weapons might hurt the poor girls ears. Shoulder weapons were also a bad idea, obviously. He was a fair distance away, so when he fired and blew the upper part of the doorway off no debris reached them. They might have hit Averus though. The whole sufficiently large, he walked outside. He quickly peeked his head back in. "Well, don't just stand there! we've got quite a lot to do!" He said in his usual jolly tone.

"Well, if that's all you gals need, I'll be headin' out, yea?" Reilcall suggested, slapping the table once again to draw attention. Lifting himself up, he knocked over his own chair, but quickly scrambled to pick it back up. Without another word, the champion strolled right out of the cafe quite haughtily, his chest puffed and head held high. Before he could make it out though, he seemingly thought it necessary to show off his wealth once more, and took out a second wad of cash which he promptly placed onto a waitresses platter. It must have been a substantial amount, because she began to cry quite shamelessly.

The three girl's comms began to ring quite perfectly in unison, hinting to the one who was on the other end. There was a moment of silence before the man spoke, though, as if he were ensuring all three had answered the call and could hear him.

"This is Zale. I see you finished your meeting with Reilcall. Now begins the tough part, as I'm sure you deduced. While you guys procure information of your own, I will be simultaneously searching the central hub as best I can for Sprite and notify you if I find anything of interest. Keep attentive and have your phones ready at all times, and we shouldn't have any issues. If you pick up anything interesting, call me back. Keyword is interesting here. I don't care for chit-chat," he spat out words like a machine gun, pausing little, and it seemed at the very end, when the girls could hear a faint gasp on the other end that he might have done it entirely on a single breath. "Zale out."

The call hung up itself.

Beringer is taken aback when Delphi is picked up and set upon the shoulder of Ulysses without consent, cringing somewhat inwardly. Despite that, he remained composed, receding his hand slowly and turning, about to agree with Averus and Koemi, moments before Ulysses blasted a hole in the door. Suddenly, Beringer was once again thankful for his helmet, which covered the look of utter surprise that he failed to conceal. "Ulysse--", Beringer reached a hand back to his neck, sighing slightly, he looked at Ulysses, more importantly, his helmet. Beringer quietly invaded Ulysses's mind. He nearly fell with what felt like a punch to the face as a sudden flow of information hit Beringer like a disciplinary backhand, but this information was about...oh fuck, Beringer quickly constructed a strong will to put Delphi down, planting the thought in Ulysses's mind. He was most likely undetected in the chaos that was Ulysses's cortex. Beringer quickly cut their connection, feeling woozy from those few seconds alone, going through his own mind and deleting a great amount of files that had anything related to hamburgers. An inaudible sigh of relief bounded off the interior surface of his helmet.

Beringer looked back to Averus, then Koemi, they acted as aloof as ever; however, their actions did little to cause them to stand out from any other champion. He decided he would have to reach out for Delphi since they likely wouldn't. She would likely detect the faintest trace of him trying to inject himself into her mind, so he would withhold himself for the time being, questions could wait until later. Beringer looked towards Ulysses, behind his helmet was an expectant expression, waiting for Ulysses's mind to stumble upon the thought that had been placed near the forefront of the spaghetti dish that was his train of thought, "Ulysses, I'm sure Delphi is quite capable of walking on her own, if you truly desire, you may hold her..hand or...something" He seemed to lose wind at the end of his sentence, stumbling forward slightly before recomposing himself. A nail drove through his skull, a headache onslaught driving through his brain, likely from his recent actions regarding Ulysses. "I'm afraid the poor girl...is too polite to object to your treatment...", he tries to continue, but it seems he has expended all he is able to say at the time, nobody able to detect his headache but himself. There's something to be said for visor-less helmets.

The multi-verse traveling boy wonder, Kid Kiyohide, quietly observes Agar Mythos from his sub-orbital chair in the sky. Within the underbelly of his beloved Robonaut – currently operating in satellite mode - the young, but seasoned dimensionaut, is unflinchingly tense. Dozens of holo-screens float above the dash of his piloting instruments, cluttering the small area with endless streams of detailed information. He scours through 3D maps of explored territories, zooming through every key landmark, checkpoint, and city portal visited over the past year. No luck. He desperately sorts through every NPC and Champion invoice, hoping to find even the smallest of clues that could aid him in his search. Nothing. The Dimensionaut even swallowed his pride to consult with his companion dog, M’Larky, whose specialized bark-to-voice translator simply encoded things like: “Dunno!” and “Stop asking things!” and Robonaut’s personal favorite: “Let go of ears! I can hear you just fine!”

“Do you give up?” Robonaut’s lifeless tone invaded the piloting chamber without warning. The reverberation from the bass of his voice was so blaringly strong, that it nearly sent Kid flailing off of his seat.

“Agh!” The young Dimensionaut let out an irritated growl, throwing up his hands in frustration. “I give up. Where the heck is it?”
The array of holographic windows in front of Kid suddenly winked into obscurity. “Recalibrating lenses...” Robonaut said, course adjusting his satellite sensors toward a fixed geographical position. “Here.”

A large, rectangular window popped into view and began zooming further and further into the earth until it displayed an overhead shot of a busy-bee marketplace. Kid’s eyes widened as he recognized a particular establishment amongst the sea of bright and colorful stores and restaurants. “Yeah! There it is!” He pointed with a wide, mischievous smile. “That’s where they sell those Dye Drinks! Geez, we’ve been looking EVERYWHERE for them!”

“Incorrect statement: You have been looking EVERYWHERE for said items.” Robonaut made the automaton equivalent of a sigh by puffing out cycled air from the piloting room’s ventilation shaft. “If you’re planning on traveling to the desired location, you should also accept the ‘You Don’t Know Me’ quest on the Mission Board while you’re at it. It is within exact proximity.”

“Is it a fun mission?” Kid asked with half as much enthusiasm expressed for skin-changing milkshake beverages.

“Your definition of the word fun does not coincide with the regular meaning of the word. It is, however, a ‘Wanted Dead or Alive’ based quest, the typ-”

“We’ll take it!” Kid exclaimed, motioning toward the door.

“Will you be taking M’Lar-?” Robonaut asked.

“Shhh!!!” Kid madly gestured with his hands for Robonaut to keep quiet, but it was already too late. Echoing from the ventilation shafts came the sound of a slightly perky and mechanical voice with a heavy eastern European accent. “What? Who calls me? God, is that you?”
Kid anxiously looks up at the small camera positioned in the corner of the room. “No, Robonaut.I’m not taking him! I nearly died last time because he ate the flair banner of a powerful champion guild!”

(“Where talking? Kid? Kid there?”)

In a much softer tone and volume, Robonaut replied: “Biometrics indicate that he will become anxious due to limited crawl space. I cannot have him urinating near my hard lines again. We nearly crashed into that Academy sim school-“

“Then teleport him to a dungeon crawl!” Kid insisted, “I don’t know if I can handle another outing with him, Robonaut! Just get me there now, alone!”

The room’s single door automatically slid open. “Oh..hai! Someone say ‘a bone?’”
M’Larkey teleported alongside his Dimensionaut companion as they both arrived just outside Puelle Café in Rekre Mall.

“What kind of Dye Drink you get? I want one that give reptile skin” M’Larkey’s voice box translator immediately spouted. The Shiba inu’s tongue jostled about as he panted in excitement. Its face shone an expression of intense happiness, which seemed out of place when wrapped within a mechanical frame suit that looked incredibly uncomfortable. Kid, who had anticipated this moment for a long time, was now deflated. He suddenly became more interested in the new mission he just accepted. “Dead or Alive” flashed into his head and he half-jokingly hoped the target was M’Larkey. Kid imagined the dog running in terror while getting shot at by Robonaut’s satellite cannon. Kid smiled.

"Let's figure out what the mission is first."

Kid and M'Larky casually walked into the establishment, nearly bumping into an odd looking lizard man in the process. Kid thought back to the message received from Zade before they teleported off Robonaut, but couldn't recall any further instructions now that he was here. So, he waltzed about like a lost puppy, along with an equally - if not more - lost puppy, scampering over to each table, until they reached a group of three champion girls.

“Hi. Are you all here for the mission too? My name is Kid Kiyohide. But, if you're not here for a mission...my name is still Kid Kiyohide!” His boyish smile was carefree and exuberant.

"Oh hai! I'm M'Larky! Call me M'Larky!" The shiba inu blurted out, matching the same enthusiasm as his counterpart. "Kid, why flirt with girlies? Thought you want skin change shakes? Wait. Oh...mission. Hai! Are you mission?"

Kid Kiyohide brought a palm to shield his face and quietly sighed.

"Ah, right," the priestess recalled, her words indicative of apology but her expression quite the opposite. She seemed almost absent-minded. "Stitchenstein's creatures..." she trailed off, and gave a glance at Gaul's skeletal form up and down before continuing, "As a necromancer, he's quite capable of raising the dead. He conjures all manner of unholy things, be them human remains or that of the forest fauna. What's worse, he takes pleasure in infusing them with various macabre contraptions. Their bodies are twisted into new forms, mangled or not, and given weaponry that is often simply grafted to their skin."

An all-too close cry in the air had instantly set Fran on edge, and she held her flamberge at waist-level. It was clearly inhuman, and had some hint of mechanization -crackled, synthesized, almost. "Ready yourself...?" she paused, "Did I ever catch your name? I am Head Priestess Fran Meilleur of the Helsann Avery Church. May we find success with one another." Her words were surprisingly calm for the situation. The rain began to pick up as shuffling forms approached from beyond the town gate. Raindrops pattered on their hairless or otherwise skinless forms. As they came closer, it was evident what they were; tortured souls nailed and screwed with all manner of equipment, stitched together in some areas, and crackling with tiny jolts of electricity in some places.

Rusted blades of all kinds sprouted from their twisted skin, or were chain and locked to their hands, unable to be dropped by any means. They moaned and groaned with synthesized voices, as if computerized, hot breath escaping their rotting mouths. Among them, a four-legged abomination, an amalgamation of human body parts and some unknown monster for a head, and a collection of metal machines upon its arms that looked as if they belonged to a mantis.

It's jangling sounds with each step were defeated only by the gravelly and deep booming of its voice as it skittered towards Fran, Gaul, and his minions.
The old man shook his head disappointingly, long beard sliding along his lap as he did so. "Direction? Mmm... It changes from time to time. Poor Fran can only react to her gut instinct and intercept them if she is wrong minutes later. I'm afraid you'll simply have to keep a lookout," the mayor stated. He laughed before responding to Ekho's question, taking the near-insult in stride. Being so old he had very little spite in his heart, and choose to instead let it be dominated by humor and happiness for what short time he had left.

"Dying? Most certainly. At this age, there's no doubt. But do not fret. Everyone's time comes. I'm expecting mine by dinner time tonight," he laughed heartily, and then promptly took another drink of water. "If you have no questions-" he was cut off by a familiar sound. Monstrous cries outside and in the distance caught his ear, and surely that o the champions. He turned to an expression of worry and practically shooed them out of the room.

"They're here! Go! Hurry!" he stressed.

Theow was the first to take his leave from the city hall, jumping into action before the first cries of the assaulting monsters had faded and the mayor had urged the champions to battle. If there was one thing Theow could still find pleasure in after all it was the exhilaration that came with battle and he wasn't about to let that exhilaration pass him by. His mailed feet threw up rainwater as he ran through the increasingly soaked streets, the clatter he created nearly drowned out by the continued cries of the ever encroaching undead mass. It didn't take much time for him to arrive at the town gate, spying his fellow companion and a woman armed with a blade most would consider out of place on her person. Theow suspected this was the Mother Fran that the mayor had spoken of earlier. He recalled possibly having met her at one point in the past but quickly pushed that line of thought out of his head. He had combat to focus on after all.

There were certainly a large number of monstrous constructs approaching the city, though the majority of them bothered Theow little despite their gruesome appearances and equally gruesome weapons. His focus flew immediately to the largest of their number, the quadrupedal monstrosity that was making much of the noise, and he adjusted his course to bring him on a head on collision course with the beast. He passed the two defenders at the gate in a blur, twin great swords already unsheathed, and quickened his pace into a full sprint as two of the lesser abominations shambled their way into his path, no doubt meaning to cut him off from his intended target. This was a mistake on their part as it turned out.

Digging the heel of his left foot into the ground before him, Theow turned his sprint into a pivot, using the momentum to bring the full force of both great swords across from his right in a horizontal slash a few feet in front of the two monsters. The first abomination lost its left arm at the elbow and it's head followed suit as the highest of Theow's strikes cleaved through it's neck, silencing it's groans and cries. Carried on by the force of the strike and Theow's own momentum the newly re-dead corpse barreled into the second creature, knocking it clean off it's feet and driving it to the ground where the body of it's fallen comrade pinned it to the ground for the time being. Any immediate obstacles cleared from his path, Theow completed his pivot and continued on his course for the four legged construct, flicking his great swords once as he ran to clean them of blood and other foul substances.

It vaguely occurred to him that he should probably wait for his fellow companions but at that point he was already preparing to cleave the creature's legs out from under it so he filed it under a list of things to think about after he won the day.

Ekho didn't dwell on the old man's joke or urgency, but instead followed the other outside to the action. She gripped Talus in her hand as she exited the building, her blood pumping and her body warming - but when she saw them, she froze. They were gruesome and bloodied and tortured. She almost wanted to vomit at the sight of them. And a rancid smell floated into the air that left a sickening quelch in her stomach. This moment of hesitation was what allowed the undead soldier a way in; he reached for her, his sword thrusting at her chest. She had no time to think and she gripped her spear, jumping deftly over him and impaling him with it.

There were so many of them; a horde of them! Ekho swallowed and tried to calm herself, falling into the familiar motions she has utilized since her digital birth. She plunged her spear into every thing that came at her and ignored the splatters of blood that stained her animal skins.

Likely to Ulysses dismay, the act of busting a hole in the door had quickly shifted Delphia's feelings of apathy into one of distaste for the hard surface of his shoulder. Her expression remained as stagnant and unreadable as before, but her more active motions indicated she was less than happy about his actions. That, or she was quickly becoming scared of the metal titan and wished nothing more than to keep away from him and his devastation.

Delphia thusly hopped down from his shoulders and walked a few paces away, without even glancing back or turning to look upon him. To the trained eye, it seemed as though she was more focused on a tiny bug than Ulysses himself; or rather, the hole in the door he had made. Averus' not-so-subtle ploy at trying to discomfort the group altogether went unnoticed by Delphia herself, but at the same time she made no move to let him doing anything anyways.

Unfortunately for the group, Ulysses aura of chaos and mayhem easily raised itself to danger mode, and extended its reaches into the guardians of the city; that of the police. Within minutes, the cries of several sirens sounded off outside, and they were approaching fast. Though the dismay might have reflected on the champions, Delphia, once again, displayed little care in the world, despite the fact that their mission's troubles had just been set in motion.

Ulysses HAMMERJUSTICE

Ulysses had felt... something in his mind. For some reason, he had a difficult time putting any thoughts together, but he suddenly snapped back to reality when he realized something, to his eternal dismay. He had forgotten his favorite food entirely. Desperately, his mind worked to find any evidence of the information, to the exclusion of all other thoughts. He stood there, gazing into the distance, his expression a mixture of panic and desperation. He thought the cyborg may have been talking to him, but he couldn't afford any time. It was as if someone had stolen the information from his mind, and threw it in a paper shredder. He didn't even notice that Delphi had hopped off and wandered off. However, more pressing matters made themselves known. The cops were closing in.

Ulysses groaned. "The cops?! I can't kill cops! They haven't even done anything wrong!" He said. He walked through the ruined doorway, before hitting a series of buttons on the inside of his armor. The sound of various valves and hydraulics depressurizing was heard, and The armor opened up, allowing Ulysses to step out. The armor then folded itself into a box directly after he stepped out, whereby he raised his arms to show he was not armed. Whereby he waited, so he could explain to the cops his intentions and pay for the damages. (how much could it be? It's just some wood and drywall)

So, now the lizard guy decided to almost destroy the whole cafe while standing up. Whether he was really clumsy and not self aware of his size or he just liked to destroy things was a real mystery. Besides that, he was a total showoff, paying things with fat wads of cash. Mostly, Marian was just jealous at how the high-budgeties had so much money to spend as they please, though it was rather probable that she would be stingy as always even if she were a high-budgetie too. They, and she thinks 'they' since the sisters are also included in the mission, receive another call, but this time from a guy named Zale. Marian wondered if it was the same guy trying to screw with them by changing one consonant in his name every time he called or not, but she didn't pay much attention to it.

Marian stood in front of the other two. "So, what will be our next course of action? Do we head off to the center hub all together or do we go our separate ways, to avoid suspicion?" Marian asked, in a less cheery and more serious tone, but without letting her smile fade, even if it was just a little pale, it was always there as she talked and waited for the other girls to answer. "I suggest that one of us should be the bait, though, if we decide to head our separate ways. I offer myself for that kind of job. I'm... quite fond to luring others, if I should say something about it." She puts up an impish smile. At least now she wasn't lying. There was just this kind of exciting feeling every time she had to test herself and see how good she was at fooling someone, though she does it all the time, at situations like that most of the times she was putting her life in danger, making it all the more exciting.

As they were discussing strategies, a kid showed up. Funny enough, he introduced himself as Kid. The kid was rather cheery and seemed to be very anxious about things, or that's just how Marian saw him. It was a surprise when the dog accompanying him started speaking, but not something impossible, after all, she just had a talk with an eyeles lizard. She giggles a little for what Kid just said, then puts up a gentle smile for the kid and kneels to be at his same height. "Well, hello there Kid. My name is Marian. And why yes, we are indeed here for the mission, though I think you just missed our odd contractor. I think your dog and him would have hit it off just right." She tilts her head slightly after she finishes her sentence, she then turns to see the dog. "And hello to you too, M'larky. Are you not fond of flirting with girls? Because I would totally fall for you if you started flirting with me." She says in a joking tone, trying to get the dog in her side. Before she has had some incidents involving dogs, due to her habit of lying she is sometimes seen as a bad person and most dogs don't like her, hence why she prefers cats. So, talking to the dog and keep it from exposing her secret would be the best course of action.

At first, it seemed difficult for Beringer to pull himself out of his natural, observatory state, whilst under attack by a havoc inducing headache. Though, he quickly snapped out of his battle with his own nerves when sirens took place of the ringing in his ears. He focused his mind's attention on the HUD that displayed the scene before him. To his own bewilderment, he took action, "That dummkopf." He muttered as he passed Delphi, walking beyond Ulysses into the street, "Now now, first impressions are important Ulysses, blowing holes in walls is not a favorable one. Now if I may, this is only my second mission outside of my corporations interests, I fully intend to make-up for the first one."

Beringer glanced back towards Averus and Koemi, he believed that they would keep him sane in the presence of Ulysses, yet they seemed to lack any inclination to aid the current mission. However that matter shall wait for another time. With an echoed exhale Beringer walked to the arriving police with his hands in the air. Somehow his stiff posture allotted him a regal appearance, even with his hands in the air. "I assure all of you that this was not of malicious intent, however we are rather anxious to leave, so if you would be so kind as to take this," Beringer offered forward a data-pad, it seemed to be loaded with Agathar's currency, "I trust that is enough to cover the expenses, if not, there are multiple ways to contact me listed under my name, here." Beringer points to the upper right hand corner of the data-pad. "If you would be so kind as to take care of getting the repairs done yourself, the rest of the money on this data-pad belongs to you and your associates. If we can set this aside, my friends and I have a mission to attend to..." He nods his head respectfully, pushing the data-pad forward to the first officer to approach him.

Something was definitely not right about this mission, however Vydia simply couldn't put her finger on it. While it was too early to claim any oddities the woman couldn't help but feel that the other AI was still holding back information. His words did nothing to reassure her either, if anything it only added to more of her questions. Finding it hard to trust the man, Vydia's mind began to clutter with questions but before anymore could be answered their transportation to Nihon had finally arrived.

Following behind the other three, Vydia came to halt once on board, casting a final glance over her should her eyes made contact with the unfamiliar AI before the cargo bay door closed. A nervous flutter had entered her chest, but now that the mission was finally beginning she knew this was no time to get worked up. Pulled from her thoughts by the loud clang of the ramp closing shit Vydia returned her gaze to her teammates as a a heavy hum came from the airship as it began its course to their destination.

"This should be easy enough, just don't go stirring up trouble. I'm looking at you blondie."

Her eyes shot from the taller woman to the small blonde standing beside Myriel. Vydia was definitely not expecting to team up with such an unlikely bunch, however with the circumstances at hand the Champion knew she had no other choice. Considering her teammates had already become aquatinted with each other earlier, Vydia decided it was finally time to converse. With the box still tucked safely under her arm the Champion stepped closer to the other three. Clearing her throat quietly to gather their attention her eyes met with the others as she spoke, "Now that the missions begun, I think its time I introduce myself." Giving another polite nod the AI continued, "My name is Vydia, I look forward to working with you three."

After the big thing picked up and left, not while first causing an equally large scene, a message came from that one guy, Zane... Zale? She addmittedly only listened to half of it, not really sure why everyone else had a weak memory similar to her. But whatever, she couldn't really care what he called himself. One thing was obvious, this operation was run by some real inconsistent nut-heads, and that wasn't really reassuring. She didn't even know the pay for this whole thing, simply accepting that if it's that filthy rich scaly man, it'd probably be worthwhile.

Mai listened to what Marian had to say, and nodded in response, seeing no one else speaking up anyway, "I'd say we should keep fairly close, under a low profile. We wouldn't want to draw too much attention while looking around, but we don't want to be singled out either."

If they wanted to bait this "Sprite" they might be able to, but the real question was with what? The folder had some vague information regarding sightings and records of this individual, but did state clearly that he was mostly seen around the Central hub. If he was actually the hands of these murders, he would be on alert if they were to simply walk into the area, otherwise it'd be easy enough to track him. His powers seem like they would be beneficial if they were to split and cut him off, but also dangerous if they were somehow not able to fight him alone. Either way this one would probably end in an annoying chase. But there might be a way to stop it if they worked together properly.

She turned her head at Marian, "Seems like this guy is hitting targets of high profile knowledge based on the Agar Mythos itself..."

But before she can continue the thought, she was interrupted by a little boy and his freaky robot dog snooping around the cafe. He had stopped at their table asking for the mission, his talking dog seeming to have context issues worse than the child. Thankfully enough, Marian was the one who handled everything, even if teasing the animal was much less than needed. Mai gave the girl an incredulous look. If, on the off chance, she was being serious Mai would have to recontruct her whole viewpoint of Marian.

The girl just smiled, although a very slight one, muttering a simple, "Hello, I'm Mai, and we're just about to get things going."

She was less than interested than speaking to these people, especially ones that were as troublesome as children. Needless to say, they gave her a bigger headache than the obnoxious commotion of city life. After that, she leaned back and waited for further conversation, still hoping for the cute girls to come in and make everything better.

As the scenery changed, reverting back to what it once had been before the arrival of Delphia and the scientist, Averus sighed slightly as he could hear the sounds of pedestrian NPCs and champions mingling once more. They were on the outskirts of Titan, a tourist attraction due to being a mirror of Mount Fuji, one of the landmarks of Japan. If Delphia was to experience a bunch of things there, that should be a suitable place for it. He could already see a few faces that he recognized from within the crowd. The Unkillable Demon King, the Psycho-Turtle, and even that Wandering Coffin. A colorful day, indeed.

Surprised as to Ulysses rejecting his request, even though the champion (unless he had a severely dysfunctional memory) should already understand what exactly Averus's measurement-taking was about, the Archivor sighed in a long, depressing way. Really, he should just throw Ulysses back into the respawn point or something, but they were in a town. Assault on another champion would bring annoying legal fees, even if death didn't actually do anything to them. Interestingly enough, the Fire Titan never actually ASKED Delphia whether she wanted to be lifted up the first place, and he was just about to bring up that point...until Ulysses decided that it was a smart idea to take his gun out and blast a hole through the building so he could walk out. Though Averus could quite casually just calculate the trajectories of the debris and dodge them all, he WAS quite tempted to take more hits than necessary and see if he could also smack a few assault charges on Ulysses.

Nevertheless, the titan was but a child compared to Averus. The Archivor stored away his thoughts of eliminating this bothersome champion, and instead opted to take a deep, mind-clearing breath after the dust has settled.

At least one bonus was that Delphia was finally developing a sense of fear or disgust towards that juggernaut, and, in what could be considered the first active decision in her tenure at Agar Mythos, the 'progam' hopped off his mechanical shoulders and engrossed herself with...a bug, instead. Funny little thing, she was. Might as well get to some teaching then. As the sirens of the police were heard, shortly before the police arrived, with Ulysses taking off his armor and Beringer trying to placate the worries of the police, Averus chose to approach Dephia.

Coughing to get her attention, the 'elder' of Agar Mythos said, “Well, Delphia, here's your first lesson. If you engage in damaging property, regardless of how sneakily you do it, the police will come and find you. While I doubt this would be worrisome for a champion who's not owned by a company with a reputation, the punishments are quite annoying. Now, what you see Beringer, the masked man, doing is called 'bribing'. Well, that might not be the most accurate term, but as you can see, he is immediately choosing to pay off the fine that's associated with what had just happened, as well as offering a 'bonus' for the police to deal with it themselves. In this manner, I believe that he would be wishing for this incident to be kept off the records of all of us.”

“Which reminds me, I believe that the current 'convention' for charges regarding property damage is that, for the first three incidents, you are fined a hefty sum, and after you've repeatedly committed the same offense, you'll be placed in suspended animation in one of their confinement centers. Annoying really, but surprisingly enough, somewhat comfortable.”
