Here she is, my next magnum opus (One of only two S ranks so far in my character of the day): Valecia

I'm more then likely going to submit her here unless there are any objections. Odd that all three of my characters are female, but whatever. I'm guessing she'll be light or intermediate. When it do submit her it will not be today, as it is well past my bedtime.

I just did the math, LeeRoy's Space Grazer weighs 78.5 tons. Soft tons.

Somewhere between high-Intermediate and High.

Also, bullets? Why should I be bothered by bullets? I have this shield!

Added some details about S'kara's ship, the size of it, the armor that surrounds the thing, the weapons, etc. Will probably go into detail as per its ECM suite, comm system, and other stuff later today. But man... IMHO, it has some NASTY weaponry. Dem Lasers.

I guess the bear is about to get involved in this here fight right quick.

And Beta...who is going to fight you in space? Why go through the process when it will never come into play. I doubt your ship will be anything other than a plot device so you can travel between planets/dimensions etc.

I would totally fight him in space. If I wasn't about to ally with him.

There's also the Angar-Ryllan armada :)

Fleets are not characters. This is not a nation Role-play. Your ships are backdrops for the characters. Since I control the Angar-Ryllans it stands to reason if I am not using them perhaps you should not use them either.

There's also the part where he could land/hover his spaceship on/over a planet and use it to fight other characters.

That aside. The Angar-Ryllans are the enemies of the universe, or whatever. As a backdrop of a fight, it stands to reason that it's all the more fun to have a massive spaceship battle while battling one's opponent within. For that purpose, taking the time to describe the specifics of a ship is not a bad thing. It doesn't work against anything.

If you want examples of spaceship battles as backdrop of a one-on-one combat; The final confrontation between Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker in Star Wars episode 6 is a shining example of how it is done.

So.. the Angar-Ryllan thread cease to exist then? It's full of spaceships.

No spaceships = No spaceships.

I just woke up and my body was not ready for a disagreement.

So guys I have a solution.

Let the people who have ships, have ships. But have the ships function like background characters, where unless they fit in context they're not actually going to do anything.

Gado, WTF I said spaceships are backdrops, what part of that don't you understand? The gawddamn spaceships in the Angar-Ryllan thread are backdrops to the characters and nothing more than that.

Seriously I can see why a multiverse never gets traction here, everyone wants to do their own thing and not abide by the parameters for the purpose of the mutiverse which is strictly character vs character combat across a variety of settings and with diverse character concepts. Not space ships, not minions but the characters themselves. Everything else is just flavor for the fights.

I don't see how you came under the impression that I think they're anything but backdrops.

I was merely saying how Beta describing his ship in detail doesn't hinder anything.

I'm not trying to instigate anything more here, but what about using a small personal ship as a form of attack in a one-on-one fight? Like in Injustice when batman calls in the batmobile and has it ram his opponent, but with strafing runs and missile salvoes and stuff.

Oh, and now that I'm approved, does anyone want to start a confrontation with Arty?

Pfft. Want to know the most terrifying opponent you could ever face on a battlefield? A speedster wielding a recoil-less magical minigun that weights nothing and that scales to whatever tier he's in. For defence, he's got a chargable riot shield that -can not be moved by others if it's been charged- Cry out with rage as he trolls around the field, constantly firing, always on the move, never taking hits.Edit: Heck, it could be a magical Uzi shooting 50.cal shells that would never run out of ammo.

Your not trying hard enough. You could just freeze/ice the ground or cause a small quake and you ruin his day when he trips into a wall.

You guys should watch out for Arty. He's got things.

Edit: Khan - Ah. Damn, you're right. Nice one.

Posted in Necropoli.

A bit shorter and less detailed than I prefer, but I literally have to run out of the door to catch my bus. Let me know if there's any inconsistencies or such, and I'll be happy to edit :)

ah, to add my 5 cents to the gufire talk.

Dire confrontation calls for dire measures, so it stands that a intermediate-high gunslinger will be as good at shooting down moving targets as an agile dodger would be at evading gunfire. Like, Grammathon cleric skilled and higher, because nobody said you could only matrix yer dodging.
Also, the equipment play a great role here: dual wielding allows for crossfire, full-auto shotguns are damn hard to avoid being hit by, and explosives are yet another feasible counter-measure. Tricksters may try using armor with hidden guns inside to take thier opponent by suprise, especialy if it's some really bulky suit, or deploy turrets as low-tier minions to be both a pain in the arse and a good distraction that allows for scoring the killing shot.

...yeah, you probably already knew that all, but maybe not. XD
