Good. Otherwise I was going to recommend all of the other white players not waste their turns helping.

How does magic work, specifically spells? Is it something that you have to pray to acquire, or discover?

If you summoned two stone pick axes and upgraded your ax to stone, you would be done next turn and not have anything extra. If you only summoned the two pick axes you would have 1 PP extra next turn if you both prayed. I want to keep prayers having similar things grouped up, so no you couldn't get seeds with something left over for producing tools, but if you finish praying for this next turn, then you could just start praying for seeds if that is what you wanted.

PP for seeds vs food?

I always assumed that you could pray for anything... this included magics...

Yes. But... can't we just make more shrines or move our current one? It's made of wood after all...

You'll learn spells through scrolls (Single use item that will teach one person a spell) or spell books (Endless use item that can keep teaching people the spell), or you can be taught them by NPCs. Once at least one person on the team has learned the spell, you can pray for scrolls or spell books with said spell.

everyone can't wander too far, but you don't need everyone to protect the shrine. Also, the shrine isn't some fragile thing that can be easily destroyed, it'll take some work to break, so don't think you'll have to worry about random shit running in and knocking it down with one hit.

WHAT DOES THIS EVEN MEAN?!?!? xP

Also, So for magics as long as someone learns from a tome or a scroll everyone else can just pray for it and learn it too? AWESOME!!!

You can't pray to learn something, it's not within your god's control to just implant knowledge into your head. You can use prayer to have effects on the physical world, which is sort of like prayer magic but the bigger the effect the more prayer it takes.

You can't move shrines. Eventually you might learn how to take over other gods' shrines or create new ones of your own, but right now you can't. So you best not let your current one get destroyed, otherwise you'll be stuck having to pray to revive fallen allies which will be a bitch.

You can't pray to learn it, you can pray for the items that teach you it, which won't be cheap.

Also, reread the thing about shrines. One "isn't" being typo'd as "is" and nothing makes sense.

If you insist on leaving Nat to die, fine. He can swim away while we grab the knife and then try to find something useful on the beach. We need you to help the group, though.

Oh, and it has occurred to me that we need a quiver. Can someone make a quiver?

You don't necessarily have to have a quiver, I was going to explain this bit about arrows once you had completed them. Arrows (or just ammo in general) are special in that they can be stored in large stacks in a player's inventory slot, and can be removed from the inventory slot without penalty if being used with their corresponding item. So Nargle's inventory slot could serve the purpose of a quiver; making a quiver would just free up nargle's inventory slot.

I will allow sacrifices as an evil (Doing so will make your god more evil, which will affect flavortext and NPC reactions if done a lot) means of getting extra PP, if you do it nearby to where there is a group praying for something, but you and not are not at all close enough.

Yeah, yeah. I've been wanting to make an info repository thread for a while. Just hasn't happened yet. I'll try and do one soon, and It'll have info on seeds in it.

Get a larger group of people to pray? I didn't intend for prayer to be done with only 1-2 people spending all their turns doing it. It is best to have a large of people praying for a large amount of an item, that is the only way it'll be faster than simply gathering and building the materials.

Also, people who pray a lot may eventually get boosts to their praying ability, making them produce more PP each turn.

In general you can. Whether you are actually able to or not will depend on the enemy.

Just saying...

I love how our god is the blackest got yet we're all fucking monks and how your god is the whitest god yet you're considering on being occultists.

EDIT: Derv don't forget to cut out items too 2 tools (preferably pickaxes) and a transformation of my ax into stone.

By the way, how great is the advantage of transformation of a tool over summoning it? Like, how much would the diffrence in PP be between creating an iron club from a wood and stone one and summoning one from scratch?
