What I do think should become an issue here (provided I'm right in thinking Evvie has relatively large wings.) is that her wings swinging around would probably work towards defending against the stabbing attack to her upper body. That's pretty much the only way I see Evvie surviving more than ten seconds after that knife punctures her vital organs.

For her human sized body they are relatively small, each about the size of her torso. They are not big enough to allow her to fly without sending magical energy from her internal flame into her wings.

In hindsight she should also probably wear armor. Man this girl is slow.

You just now noticed?

It's not all her fault. She has no money to buy armor (which can be quite costly, especially the oh so popular (in roleplays) plate armor) and from the world she came from there was no armor made to allow her tails and wings. She might acquire some armor at some point designed for her if they give it to her for free or if she just has to do some errands. Otherwise she's fine without wearing much armor right now because she's confident in herself. She doesn't remember her deaths upon reincarnation, so basically is under the assumption that she can't be beaten until she is in that life.

Imp. Trust me. I set you up to win this fight. Two paragraphs and you will win but you need to see to see it.

You set me up to win by stabbing her kidney. You have an odd way of showing it. ;)

Well, I'm going to eat now.

No, it's just now becoming more annoying then endearing.

Sadly I don't think Skalla ever found her cute. :O

Also Skalla has a weird understanding of showing a person kindness. He still says hello by throwing a grenade upon greeting you.

iPhone mode activate!

Well, she could loose her armor in this battle and some kind person buys her fitting armor as a reward? But would this place even have half dragon armor?

Since my first female character was a flop I'm going to take a bit of time to think.

Once I make a decision I'll show y'all what else is there to see.

>Oh so popular in roleplays plate armor.

It's popular because Plate Armor isn't as clunky as people claim it is, it's designed to allow for a full range of movement. Plate armor is popular because it works.

A full set is still heavy anyway.

It's nice if you can afford it. If you're poor in a fantasy land, I suppose you could have the excuse that it can be cheeply made and plentiful resources for it in that world.

Wikipedia: "It is a common misconception that the plate armour of European soldiers adversely affected mobility in a significant manner, but in fact plate armour was less heavy and featured more even weight distribution than a full complement of a modern firefighter's gear"

Also, they usually only weighed 30-40 lbs. And that's all over your body. That's not heavy at all.

Fun Fact:

Paper armor is a thing.

A full suit is no heavier then modern day war gear.

Remember, the weight is well distributed.

That and they treated plate armor like they do modern tanks, in that certain sections of it are far more armored than other sections. The most armored part of full plate armor was the torso. The rest of the armor was relatively thin. There was this one Youtube video of a guy in full kit running, jumping and even falling off of his horse, yet he still managed to jump to his feet in an instant.

And it didn't need to be especially thick or heavy in order to do its job, which was to stop piercing and slashing attack from swords.

Warhammers, however, pretty much ignored the protective qualities of plate armor.

I do have this odd feeling that post people in Arena RPs perceive plate armor as being completely invulnerable to melee attacks or something.

That's like air to Evvie, she'd just need the mentioned problem of how to realistically get her hands on a set.

This is why my favored weapon would be a mace.

Haha! You're an awesome sword fighter with a shield and plate armour? I'm going to hit you really hard!

Loose. Adjective. "not firmly or tightly fixed in place; detached or able to be detached."

Lose. Verb. "be deprived of or cease to have or retain (something)"

Fucking English, people. Learn it.

Hence why you never made a character with a mace that I have seen.

But you did make a character as hard as diamond.

To be fair, that video is inconclusive.

I'd like to see him do that when he isn't controlling his fall into a pile of soft mud. A huge amount of things can go wrong.

Hah, maces! Fibre armor and non-newtonian fluids come to save the day! :D

EDIT: and head-on blocking with sheild isn't the most popular way of using it IRL. More like voiding the attack, trying your best to make it glance off, so a good shield user must be very unfortunate to have their forearm bones crushed by a warhammer-to-shield slam.

Emphasis on -my- preferred weapon.

I've never made a character called K---censored----, a 6ft 3" Englishman with a perchance for cynicism and sarcasm.
