Willow blushed even more, shaking her head, "N-no it wasn't my fault! I-I-I should be apologizing for just...fainting like that! Y-you shouldn't feel o-obligated to go out of your way for s-someone like me..."

She saw out of the corner of her eye a couple of girls whispering to each other while glancing at her and sighed inwardly. Why couldn't she learn to keep her head down and remain invisible and stay out of trouble? She wanted more than anything to have an invisibility cloak to wrap around her forever...

Willow noticed Raymond's attention focused on the front of the room towards Samantha and turned around to face her. How sweet, Willow always admired the two's relationship from a distance. They just seemed to fit each other so well. She wondered if she'd ever find her half...most likely not. Willow smiled shyly at Samantha from across the room, praying she'll come over. She couldn't hold a conversation with anyone for more than a minute...

Samantha smiled at Lydia as Lydia rolled her eyes. "Your mean, Sammy." She sighed but Samantha giggeled and hugged Lydia tightly. "Im sorry! You deserved it sweetheart." She smiled ruffiling her friend's hair and pinching her cheek as Lydia giggeled and left to her other friends.

Samantha leaned against the door looking at her nails and looking back up seeing Raymond and Willow. As they were talking and Samantha smiled as they looked at her. She waved at them and noticed that Raymond was signaling her to come over to them. A smile formed in her face as she walked towards them and she jumped behind Raymond kissing him on his left cheek and looked at Willow smiling at her. "Heeeey girl. Sooo like......what's up with the password?"

Finch was shown to his quarters as the meal ended. His trunks of belongings dumped in the middle of the spacious room.

He layer out on his already prepared bed and with a twitch of his cane his belongings began sorting into their desired locations.

A painting of himself was placed above his bed, Finch could never decide if he was egotistical because of it but he enjoyed chatting with himself sometimes. On other walls were mounted a few other items, a small picture of a young women with a child I'm her lap smiling, a death eaters mask, a framed suit that looked nearly destroyed, and a number of smaller items.

Finch smiled sadly as he looked at his items then drifted off to sleep.

"The Dueling Studio"

"Dance me to your beauty with a burning violin
Dance me through the panic till I'm gathered safely in
Lift me like an olive branch and be my homeward dove
And dance me to the end of love"

Sings Henri as he holds his wand like a symphony conductors baton. His voice is masculine an yet sad and soft as he sings. Nearby nearly headless Nick hovers listening quietly.
Laissez-moi voir ta beauté quand les témoins sont partis
Permettez-moi de vous sens bouger comme ils le font dans Babylone
Montrez-moi lentement ce que je ne connais que les limites de
Et moi danser jusqu'à la fin de l'amour
sings the Dueling master as he dances with a woman who is no longer there.

Nick begins to leave only to hear
Excusez-moi Monsieur Esprit mais s'il vous plaît rester, ce soir est une nuit de souvenirs et je les partager avec quelqu'un says Henri in a strangely accented french
((Excuse me Sir Ghost but please stay, tonight is a night of memories and I would share them with someone))

Nick says a bit flustered. "She Was quite a beauty wasn't she?"

"Mais bien sûr, she was the most beautiful woman I've even been lucky enough to know says Henri with a happy sigh an a melancholy smile

"May I inquire as to what happened to her?
If it's not too painful of course"
asks Nick sensing that Henri needs to talk to someone

"Ah but of course there is pain as there is always pain where Love in concerned.
.......But let us not worry of the trivial.
She is gone and now waits I hope for me beyond the veil. Her name was Emaline and her hair was as dark as the night sky, her eyes, oh her eyes were a dark amber that captured my heart the first I ever looked into them. Her figure was the gift of Aphrodite and her voice the song of the Muse.
A man is rarely granted the knowing of a Goddess mortal bound but I was that lucky fool
Oh what a fool I was, I should have gone with her then I could have saved her we perished together
says the young Professor as he takes a deep breath

"Strangely enough I too know of the experience of a lost love says Nick settling down near Henri

Vous Monsieur? asks Henri of Nick

Soon the two are speaking of the pain of lost love and of the women they both so admired.

Raymond shook his head. "I think you don't give yourself the credit you deserve. You're a brilliant witch." (This would be the only place where he could say that and not be slapped). Although Willow was shy, she was incredibly smart, and knew her spells. "You got nothing to be sorry for, and like I said before, Gryffindor's look out for each other, so that means you're definitely worth it." As Sam walked up and kissed Raymond he smiled, a shock of electricity moving through his skin. When asking about the password he laughed and shrugged. "I guess the ran out of the good ones." He said with another laugh. He yawned a bit, looking around and seeing everyone starting to head to bed.

"Looks like we should get some shut eye... We start our classes tomorrow, and you know Professor Weasley will be upset if we are late." Raymond said, his eyelids feeling heavy after realizing how exhausting of a day its been. He took Samantha's hand and kissed it lightly. "Goodnight, love." He said with a grin and wink.

Turning to Willow he gave a friendly smile. "Goodnight, Willow. I'll see both of you bright and early!" And with that, Raymond made his way to the boy's dorm. There was a door that read "Fifth Years" and Raymond entered. Inside were four post beds, each with trunks at the foot. Raymond's owl, Olly, was in his cage on a window sill, giving a screech as he saw him. "Hey buddy." He said quietly, not wanting to wake everyone who had passed out. He got dressed in to scarlet and gold pajamas, and clmbed in to the incredibly comfortable and cozy bed. It wasn't hard for him to fall asleep

-----------------------------Day 2------------------------------------------------

Raymond woke up to the sound of first year boys trying to find out who dropped the stink pellet in their dorm room. Raymond was startled at first, but then remembered where he was, and smiled. Running a hand through his messy brown hair, he got up, stretched, then walked over to Edgar in his bed and pushed him a bit. "Rise and shine, boys!" He said to all of them. The five people in his dorm were Edgar, Trevor McAllan, Grant Hampton, and Peter Wilkes. Trevor was a beater for the Quidditch team. He was a large, brown haired kid who had a soft side once you get to know him. Grant was the the prank guy (when Raymond told him about the stink pellet, he snickered loudly.) and then Peter was a very nice and brave kid, but had a very hard time with anything but potions.

"Man, Ray. Quidditch and now Dueling? Big Bad Chase here to run the school!" Edgar said, searching his trunks for a pair of clean dress pants. "Nah, I think that Slytherin girl already has that title. Only a fourth year."

"Yeah, i heard of her... Not one bad thing... that's kinda strange, isn't it? A Slytherin who happens to be the perfect student? I mean, don't get me wrong, Jared and his friends are very good gents, but they can be a bit nasty." Trevor said, looking in a mirror to put on his tie. He was talking about some good Slytherin friends they had, nothing but friendly to us, and saved each other a couple times in their school life, but when it comes to fresh meat, they like to make their lives a living hell.. So they heard. If they ever caught them Raymond might have to put them in place.

"It doesn't matter. It's a new year, everyone's behaving well, so there's no need for this kind of rubbish talk!" Edgar said, his neat black hair in place. Raymond nodded, he put a bit of gel in his hair to make it stand up a bit. Still messy as ever, but it looked very well for him. He wore his sweater, his tie neat and tidy, but now wearing his Gryffindor robes.

He made his way down the stairs, walking up to the bulletin board. he spent a few minutes to write down a small advertisement for the Dueling club.

First session tonight at 6.

It wasn't much, but he figured that he would do better at explaining when he was actually there. He was extremely excited to start it... but first, breakfast, where their schedules will be waiting for them. The schedules all worked the same way. Everyone in their year goes to the same core classes, then to their electives. After that will be free time before dinner.

Raymond went through the portrait hole, his wand in his pocket, his mind going through all the spells he's learned to fight against the dark arts. He made it down to the large dining hall, and towards his table. The ceiling was a light gray, with fog moving around. The tables were full of delicious looking breakfast items. Eggs, bacon, waffles, jugs of juices. There was never a bad meal at Hogwarts.

He sat down, putting toast and eggs on his plate, waiting for his schedule to arrive and Olly so he can receive his mail. Also a tradition at Hogwarts.

Boom! Thunder were crashing down on the ground. Screaming and rain, it was soo dark aswell! A small little girl crying in the middle of the street, with the rain a black figure coming to snatch her but she didn't see the face or anything, but it did have claws. As soon as the claws showed, The girl screamed and then Samantha woked up. The sun outside shinning as she looked around the room and there, Willow, Lydia and some other girls were sleeping.

Samantha stood up from her bed and walked to a mirror to fix her hair. "WAKE UP GIRLS! COME ON!" she yelled clapping her hands loud. As she giggeled trying not to remember of the nightmare that she had. It was so weird. Anyways, she fixed her hair but ofcourse she showered. She put on her clothes(Gryffindor Robe). "Come on loves. I will be waiting downstairs."

She smiled as she walked out of the room and into the stairs tripping on her way down. But thankfully she didnt hurt herself. She stood up quickly looking around hopefully she didnt look at no one. But some Hufflepuffs were laughing. Samantha rolled her eyes. "HAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. YOU GUYS WANNA LAUGH?!" she said showing them her fist as she flipped her hair and strutted to the dinning room. She saw Raymond and hugged him from the back. "Morning sweetie." She smiled kissing him on the cheeks. Some Gryffindors were awing and laughing at Raymond. She let go of him and looked at the food grabbing a waffle from Raymond's plate bitting a pieace of waffle and grabbing a plate and putting her own food on it and sat down with her friends.

She liked to let Raymond be with his friends, she didnt want to keep him all to herself, which she did when they were alone. But she wanted RAymond to just be happy and thats all she wanted. "Where is Willow and Lyd at..?" She looked around taking another bite of Raymond's waffle that she took.

Isaak awoke to Perun sitting on his chest, looking right at him and he smiled at his ferret. "Good morning Perun."

he gave a yawn as he stretched his arms, and started to get out of bed. Perun moved off of him and hoped onto the floor. he had just finished his first night sleep at Hogwarts, and now was the first day of classes at the school. he wondered how his first classes go, it was a new school year and he would be learning more advanced spells. he could hardly wait for charms class, and he thought of how he would excel at the class this year as he got dressed. once he was finished, he picked up Perun and headed out of the boys dormitory. the common had a few students, so Isaak guessed that most of them were at the great hall for breakfast, and that is where headed to after leaving the common room. it was dim walking through the dungeons since the only source of light were the torches that were hanging on the walls.

regardless of the light, Isaak still preferred his house over any of the others. he soon left the dungeons and headed down a hallway which led him to the main entrance of the great hall. he walked over to the Slytherin table and started began to eat some breakfast. his mind was focused on classes and the coming tryouts for the Slytherin Quidditch team.

Frankie could feel the cat stalking along the bed, his paws digging into the Ravenclaw’s flesh as he climbed up her body and stood over her neck. And then the audacious feline laid down on her face. Fur tickled the redhead’s nose and strands found its way into her mouth – Frankie made a mental note to wash the disgusting fiend – and, with a grunt, the fifth year shoved the cat onto the ground. Jabber protested, yowling loudly as he always does, and in response Frankie just threw her pillow in his general vicinity and rolled over. Nevertheless, Jabber was nothing if not persistent – and annoying – and had made his life mission to rouse Frankie from her blissful sleep. He yowled, he howled, he hissed, he coughed, until finally Frankie had had enough. She tossed the covers off of her and slid out of bed. Pajamas were stripped and robes were draped; she was so tired, she just wrapped the tie around her neck and stumbled down the stairs.

Frankie enjoyed school, this was a fact, and adored learning. The only problem was that she absolutely, totally, and completely hated mornings. Sleep was a necessity and a lot of it was a need. If she was woken up in any manner other than natural energy, she would be grumpy for at least an hour. So, with this in mind, many Ravenclaws strayed from her as she stomped away from the Ravenclaw tower and into the Great Hall. Food, any food, was dumped onto a plate and gorged as she needed the oomph if she were to make it through her classes. If anyone objected to her inhalation at that end of the table, they said nothing.

Elina wakes up really early in the morning and takes out some paper a book and a pencil from her bag. she grabs the flashlight from her drawer that was standing next to her bed. she puts the blanket over her head and turns on the flashlight that she laid next to her and draws the sleeping fox that was besides her. After a hour or so she puts the stuff on her drawer and gets up out of her bed. she got dressed brushed her hair and took her pills for her narcolepsy, she walked to the Great hall with the fox following her around that still looked a bit tired. She sat down at the most quiet place of the hufflepuff tabel and saw that not so many students were up yet. The fox jumped onto the seat next to her and had gone into sleep again. She takes some bread and a boiled egg and grabs a piece of bacon for the fox. The fox lifted her head when Elina putted the bacon before the fox it's nose. She smelled for a bit and eated it slowly. Elina gave a little smile knowing the fox liked the bacon and ate her breakfast.

Acacia woke with a yawn while stretching her arms as she sat up in bed. It had been a fairly quiet night in the Slytherin common room after she had finished talking with her friends. She spent most of the rest of the night before she went to bed finishing up some studying. She was used to late nights, one didn't get where she was by slacking and procrastinating. She looked around the bedrooms, noticing that she was one of the first ones to wake. Not that uncommon either. She should really probably try to start getting some more sleep. Before she could contemplate perhaps being lazy for the first time in her life, a hoot from above caught her attention. Thatch flew down from the top of the bed and alighted on her shoulder, hooting again as he did so.

"Good morning to you too, Thatch." She said with a smile as she gave the Horned Owl a pat on the head to which he happily hooted in reply. She slipped out of bed, stretching her arms again. She brushed her messy copper hair out of her eyes, contemplating on giving it a thorough brushing. It could probably use a good one, but she didn't really have the time for it, so a quick one would have to do. She threw off her pajamas and happily put on her Slytherin robes. It felt so good to be back in them after the summer break. She gave her hair a swift comb through and made her way out of the Slytherin common room and made her way towards the Great Hall.

It didn't take her long to reach it, and she took her usual spot at the Slytherin table. Thatch had elected to leave somewhere between here and the common room, probably went off to find himself something to eat. She filled her plate with breakfast and mostly kept to herself for now, though she exchanged greetings with her fellow Slytherins.

Sunlight streamed through the windows of the girl's dormitory, warming Willow's face as she dozed happily. She yawned, stretching her arms high above her and rubbed the sleep out of her eyes. And in good timing too, cause she opened them she realized that the entire room was empty.

"Oh no..." Willow muttered in horror as she dashed out of bed, ripping off her pajamas and jumping into uniform. She quickly brushed her hair, putting an elastic onto her wrist. She'd have to fix it later... She ran out of the room, her tie coming out a bit and her shirt not tucked in properly. She prayed that she managed to put the right shoes on the right feet!

As she entered the Common Room, she was stopped by a demanding meow. Willow stopped in her tracks and faced her sleek black cat, Shadow, who had a small brown bag in her mouth. The girl smiled in relief as she took the bag, which contained her books and wand, "Thanks, Shadow. I owe you one!"

The cat simply gave her a look as if to say "You owe me so much, I've lost count.". Willow patted Shadow's head and stood up, turning to face the exit when something on the bulletin board caught her attention.

"Tonight at 6, huh..." Willow whispered to herself. She shook her head, she didn't have time to think about this now! She was late for breakfast! She burst through the portrait, much to the Fat Lady's anger, and ran down the staircase before bursting into the Great Hall, out of breath, and plopping down next to some random people. She didn't even bother looking up at them, or at the people giggling behind hands at her appearance, because she was too hungry to care.

Verlin bid Isaak a goodnight, and headed to the dorms for her first nights sleep at Hogwarts. She slept peacefully glad to be back at school. She woke up to an empty dorm room, and bolted up in panic "Figures I'm running late!!" She got out of bed quickly, and began to get ready for the day. Ester gave her a glare, and went back to sleep. She messed up her hair as artfully as she could, and grabbed everything she would need for classes that day. She grabbed Ester and said "Sorry kitty if I have to be up so do you." She made her way to the great hall hoping she would have time for a bite or two of breakfast. She hated going hungry until lunch. She almost tripped down the stairs, and the portraits were telling her she should be more careful.

She entered the great hall breathing heavily. 'Boy I need to get in shape.' She tried to compose herself as she walked to the Slytherin table, and she took her seat in as dignified a way as she could. She didn;t want to show weakness to her fellow Slytherins. She grabbed a plate and started putting food on it. She didn't wolf it down in the same way she did last night, but ate hurriedly since she was running so late.

Finch awoke suddenly, gasping for breath his hand on his cane...
"Just a dream." He said softly becoming aware of his surroundings.

He got dressed and headed for the grand hall, upon arriving he realized it must be rather early, he was one of the first to arrive. A few students sat about with more being to trickle in. He took his seat and materialized a small leather notebook from his pocket along with a ballpoint pen.

With that he slowly started scribbling notes on student behavior and appearance that intrigued him.

A lot could be told about a person by when they awoke, who they sat with, and what they chatted about.

"First day of School, Grace is busy"

Grace woke before anyone because of her cat. Abby was the world's most annoying alarm clock and accurate. All Grace needed do was tell Abby that she'd receive a tin of Kippers at a certain time and Abby would assure you complied by waking across your body an purring loudly in your ear. Grace opened the tin as promised and rewarded her familiar with her breakfast.

It was at least an hour before she had to disturb the girls slumbers and Grace headed to the Prefect's bath. As soon as she'd had her bath and seen to her hair she headed back to the dorms.

She entered the room which held the first years and opened the drapes to allow the first rays of dawn to slant into the room. Gently she woke each of the first year girls and made sure they were headed to the bathroom before she took a seat in the common room to wait. Once all the first year girls were finished she lead them to the dinning hall to make sure none got lost or in trouble.

Once they were all seated Grace seated herself near to be available for any questions as they ate

Breakfast at hogwarts was not as good as any of the feasts but it was still tasty, he was eating a piece of toast with cream-cheese spread on it. he then saw Verlin enter the great hall, and he was starting wonder when she would come to breakfast. many students were slow out of bed but not Isaak, he was pretty good at waking up from his sleep in a good mood. he got up from his seat with his plate and moved to sit next to his new friend.

"good morning, so today is our first day of classes in our second year, are you nervous?" he asked curious to know. even though he probably wouldn't admit it, Isaak felt a little nervous at how the new year start off. at least it wasn't as bad as his first day as a first year, he had been so worried about messing up his schoolwork and being a poor student that he had been on the verge of nervous breakdown for almost all of breakfast. he just wanted to live up to his family name, and failing them would be disgraceful. But when he found out that he was a natural at charms, he felt good about himself and had never felt worried for the rest of the year. now it was a new year, and he was ready for today's classes. he hoped that Verlin wasn't too nervous ether.

Raymond decided to look at the Daily Prophet as he took another bite of his toast. If he hadn't grown up with wizard parents, he would have been very confused and awestruck at this certain paper. Interesting stories and articles were displayed, as well as moving pictures, as they always are in the wizarding world. He flipped a page, and felt someone hug him from behind, landing a kiss on his cheek. He smiled, looking up at Samantha. "Morning." He said to her, listening to the people laughing at their table. He didn't really mind the comments. His year was starting off great, nothing could make him feel anything but happy. When she reached for his waffle, then walked off with it, he laughed. "I'll remember that, Sam!" He called out to her as she sat down with her friends. A little bit later Edgar, Trevor, Peter, and Grant all sat down, starting to make a mountain of food on their plate. "I've missed these meals so much... My mum can't even stick a turkey in the oven without burning the bloody thing..." Trevor said, inhaling a waffle. "Mail come yet, Ray?" Edgar asked, taking a bite out of a large, red strawberry.

And with that a loud screech was heard, and in came the owls. All of them carried something, and dropped it on their intended target. Raymond got a couple letters. His parents sent him a letter, letting him know that they heard about him becoming Captain of the Dueling team, and how he kept his co-captain rank on the Quidditch team. They were so incredibly proud ("She cried when she received the letter from your Head of House, his dad wrote), and inside the letter was a very small fortune in his hand for his actions at school. Ray was beaming. "Ah, you can buy every type of candy at Hogsmeade!" Exclaimed Grant, looking at the handful of coins. Everyone in the hall was opening letters or gifts, all just happy to be back. Then their Heads of House came in to the Hall to hand out their schedules. "Mister Chase... Congratulations. Lets hope to win the Quidditch cup this year." Professor Weasley said with a smile as she strode off to hand out more Schedules. They almost had the cup last year, but lost during the semi-finals to Hufflepuff, who came in second against Ravenclaw. He could feel that this year was his. He spent three years trying to get Gryffindors to the top. He was one of the highest scorers in the school.

"History of Magic... Potions... Charms, then Defense Against the Dark Arts... Not a bad first day schedule." Edgar said with a grin. Raymond nodded. The class he was really looking forward to was Defense Against the Dark Arts, and he was interested in how the newest teacher will teach. He got up with everyone, and looked up at the head table to see the Auror known as Markus Finch writing in a journal... He wondered if his father knew anything about the guy, if they had worked together in the past... If he had the chance, he'll ask him.. but right now, he had to go back to his dorm to get his books for today.

Professor Mystérieux's DADA classroom

Henri was in his classroom early before the children even received the breakfast for it was in the foggy hours of the morning that many duels took place, at least those of the deadly kind.
As Henri awaited his first students he stood as still as a statue facing an invisible enemy across the field. Those unfamiliar with the skills of a Duelliste in the sport of Duello would not know that as he stood there Henri's most important tool was hard at work; his mind. He went over each spell he could cast marking them down as those honorable an those necessary for survival for in the dim hours of morning or night in the vast grave yards and on the Spanish moss shrouded Islands of the Bayou men an even sometimes women still played the deadly game.
It was one such Island that had spelled Henri's career as a Duelliste at an end. It had at the time been a matter of honor, a matter to be settled by the old code, it was where Henri lost the great love of his life.
Any who now looked on him saw Henri as a dashing an somewhat rakish figure, their surprise had they seen him when Hadrian Blevins had pulled him from his drunken existence would be priceless.
Henri had met the Headmaster when he was a star of the Duello circuit an they'd become friends. Longwalker as the Voodoo Ogan had named Professor Blevins had once loved attending the Duello and even briefly fancied himself as a Duelliste, that is till he attended the "École de la Sorcière Bleue" (School of the Blue Witch)
His instructor was Henri, a young man barely 20 years old but a man of impeccable skill and speed. That was were Blevins learned that a Duelliste had to have a speed bordering on prophecy. He had to be able to read his enemy so well that he knew his foe's spells better than he did.
Henri had admitted that Blevins was good and in casual duel was a force to be reckoned with but in the Duello he was just a bit too cautious, that he lacked the gambler's edge.

Henri returned to the classroom at Hogwarts and reminded himself that he now was a teacher f children. Of course this was a noble pursuit the ghosts of his past far away.

Finch looked up from his notebook and silently noted the 4 pairs of eyes resting on him, taking note of faces and jotting down in his notebook short descriptions.

Although this wasn't exactly a strategy that had any backing to it. A clever student would keep tabs on him the same way he kept tabs on them.

"A little bit actually." She looked suddenly embarrass. She didn't exactly make it public that she started school later than the other children, and it was always a thorn in her side when school started. She hoped not too many people would find out, because her fellow Slytherin's would exploit her weakness if they could. "I can't wait for transfiguration and defense against the dark arts." She wouldn't admit it, but in most other classes she had a lot of catching up to do. She was passable at potions, or she at least had managed not to blow anything up. "Speaking of which I almost forgot." She transfigured herself to where her ears, and tail appeared, but she paused suddenly. She felt eyes roving the Great Hall.

She followed her senses until they guided her to the auror at the school. She saw him jotting down notes, and wondered what the hell his game was. "Oh and Isaak we have another on the list of people to watch out for this year I think take a look at who's taking notes." It bugged her to no end that he was, and she didn't know why. She wanted to know what an auror could want with Hogwarts. After all it had always been renowned as one of the safest places, and security had only tightened since Harry Potter and his friends.
