The part in Bold is the category of the skill.
You do not add points to these.On all 24 skills you have 48 skill points to spend
The amount of points on a stat will effect dice rolls in the use of that stat using the table below
0 = D6-2
1 = D6-1
2 = D6
3 = D6+1
4 = D8
5 = D8+1
The maximum stat points placed on a stat is 5

The first post explained it a little but I guess im not so good at explaining the points to much. Hopefully I have helped you a bit now?

GM- the party walks towards the tavern pushing open the doors to the bustling sounds of men and woman a like drinking and chatting. As the 2 men walk in , the atmosphere turns sour as each eye looks towards the newcomers. The air is thick as the tension seems to build. despite this, one by one, the regulars begin to talk in idle chit chat to each other once again. ignoring the two newcomers as if nothing had happened.
What will you do?

P1 - Walk over to the bar and order a drink for myself and p2. "two of the cheapest ales you have"

p2 - Follow p1 but also look around the room for anyone of interest

GM - P1 walks up to the bar and says "Two of the cheapest ales you have". The bartender looks the man up and down then grudgingly pours out the black liquid from a pump beside him. "2 gold pieces" He says upfront sliding over the glasses.

P2 follows P1 he looks around the room
(Rolls a D6+1 against his Perception stat)
(Gets a 5) Decent roll!
P2 spots 2 guardsman playing darts, They seem off duty and having a nice time with there game. Placing bets on each other and any patron who happens to take up the challenge
an elderly woman sips a small glass in the corner. She seems quite distraught.
The rest of the others look relatively normal. Atleast for a tavern that is but there is a slight feeling of sadness within the place. Despite the happy looks and cheers of the people.
What will you do?

P1 -Barter with the man "2 pieces that's an outrage! The last place I went the cost was 1 gold piece for 2 pints !"

P2-Wait to see how the Bartender answers. Try and calm the bartender down if he becomes annoyed with the two.

GM- P1 attempts to barter with the bartender "2 pieces that's an outrage! The last place I went the cost was 1 gold piece for 2 pints !"
(Rolls a D6 against his barter stat)
(Gets a 1 !) Critical Fail !
The bartender seems to get angry "Are you calling me a cheat!" He says angrily. Some people begin to turn there heads.
P2 steps in "Im sorry about my friend he gets a bit over his head sometimes. We will pay the price"
(Rolls a D6 against his Charisma stat)
(Gets a 4) Not too bad
The bartender soon calms down "Ok I will let you off this time. We can pretend this didn't happen alright?"
What will you do?

P1 - Pay the bartender 2 gold pieces and sip at the drink

P2 - Look and smell the drink to see what the black liquid might be

ETC ETC P2 would do a knowledge role and the story continues from there
I hope this is understandable

Im thinking commands would be given in the OOC and so I would be the only one writing in the IC explaining what happens. But im not sure this is the first time I have done this dice thing on a forum. I have done it with friends before IRL though.

Hm, I thought you'd write out a scenario here in each post and we would react to that in our posts, write out exactly what we want to do but don't write the outcome as it requires a dice roll. Either way is fine with me.

He was raised in the cave city of Antium, where the only light came from glowing mushrooms and holes in the ceiling and shadows were plentiful, he learned the arts of stealth and warriorhood there, in the guts of the earth and he vowed he'd never use them for unjust things.

I just want to point out that if there are 49 points, he just has to remove one form agility since there are 5 + 1 there.
