It has been two weeks since the infection hit the state of California in the first week lots of looting and chaos swept through the city of Los Angeles, three days after the initial outbreak the US military has set up camps at Camp Pendleton few miles outside of the city to evacuate the civilians. As the days went by the people who were still trapped within the city either became infected adding to the number of undead, those that are alive have either made it to Camp Pendleton. However it has become overrun by the undead, and when one person is bitten the infection quickly spreads.

Personality: Jade is always conscious of people do to being bullied because other students did not understand her disability. She is not a leader she regularly tries to follow those she knows has a smart head on their shoulders. At times her thoughts are all over the place even making it hard to pay attention to someone who is speaking with her. Jade has a hard time lying not just because it feels wrong but also because she is terrible at it. She tends to keep most of her problems and doubts to herself.

Bio: Jade was born in late winter. She was two months early so the doctors had to put her on a breathing machine and give her a shot of betamethasone to help her lungs develop. When she was five her brothers Tristan and Samuel were born. They had two very different personalities they were like night and day. That is also when her mother Norah started noticing her daughter like to count to five before she went to sleep. She also noticed her child had to touch the doorknob twice before she left or entered a place. When Jade had reached seven she had made her only friend. They started playing around an old shed her friend dared her to go into it long enough for her to count to ten. Jade was scared but she had only one friend and did not want to lose him. So she tapped the handle twice and went inside. The boy thought it was a funny idea to lock the shed. Jade started to panic because of the darkness. She was in the shed until the next morning because the boy was scared to tell her parents he did not want to get in trouble for locking her in there. This is how her fear of the darkness came about.

When Jade started middle school her OCD and Noctiphobia was at its worse she was seeing doctors all the time and she was starting to getting bullied daily. However she did have a slight light in all the darkness. She had finally found a great friend named Willow. Willow would always protect Jade when she could. The time Jade hit High school her OCD was not so bad she could live with it. However her Noctiphobia was still as troublesome as ever. Once she graduated her father wanted to go to college with Willow but the thought of that scared Jade she did not have that kind of strength yet. As Willow went off to college Jade stayed at her parents’ house and finally got a job at a gas station.

Job Before The Outbreak: Jade was currently unemployed at the time. She had just been fired at her old job (A gas station) because she refused to work night shifts.

Personality: A helpful person, with a strong sense for justice, due to the many years spent in the LAPD. He has a soft spot for women, with whom he is always nice and respectful with, and has even proved to be romantic. One issue that he always had is that he is impulsive and can get upset and even violent quite easily. Before the outbreak his social life sucked and he is somewhat of a quiet person. When he usually talks he likes to stick to the point. He is the kind of person that says exactly what he thinks about someone or something, dosen't matter how he will feel about that.
Bio: Born in Brooklyn, New York from an american father and an english mother, Frank's parents moved to LA when he was 5 years old. Up until then Frank was the family favorite, since he was the only child of the family. All that changed when Frank's brother, Joe was born. Frank didn't care at first but as the years passed he became increasingly frustrated over the fact that Joe was recieving all the love and attention while he getting the scraps. He had multiple arguments with his parents regarding that, but he never hated them, nor his brother. After finishing university Frank enlisted in the Police Academy. He finished 2nd in his class and became a cop. He was imidieatly acknowledged for his dedication and strong will and was set as an example for those young one's wanting to become cops. At the age of 29 he was promoted to detective and moved to Homicide. As a detective Frank didn't hesitate to cross professional and ethical boundaries in pursuit of justice, especially when the law was poorly served and where money ruled, even over the law.

Frank didn't shy away from killing either. If he had no other option then he pulled the trigger without fear of anything. Frank's rationale and explanations for his unorthodox methods of work and conduct was that he was doing it for the greater good in mind: protecting the innocent and victims of crime. He often got in trouble with Internal Affairs and his superiors. But he was too efficient to be fired. The department needed guys like Frank. After the outbreak Frank attempted to get to his partner and his family and leave the city at once. He found his partner last week. Unfortunately Frank was forced to kill him, along with his parents as well as they all became walkers. However his brother was nowhere to be found. Frank suspects that he is still alive because some of his clothes and a backpack were missing from his room back home.

Personality: A very nice, kind and helpful person that will not hesitate to lend a helping hand if needed. Seemed to have alot of success with the girls too, mostly because of his attitude and good looks. Before the outbreak he was a harmless person that wouldn't hurt a fly, however that changed and now Joe has become very cautious and will do whatever it takes to defend himself.
Bio: Nine years younger then his brother, Frank, his parents were already in LA when he came to life. He recieved alot of love and attention from his parents even after becoming a teenager, much to the upset of Frank. This was due mostly because Joe seemed to be more friendly and nice then Frank, who was a little bit more rough and rebellious. Because of this Joe never really got along with his older brother, no matter how much he tried. He concentrated on his studies alot and finished both high school and university with high grades. Joe had dreams of becoming a doctor, especially since he had a bachelor's degree in medicine and surgery. However his dreams were shattered when the outbreak started. After seeing that his parents transformed into god knows what, Joe managed to run away from home with a backpack on his back that had some clothes, food and water inside. Despite the whole chaos that installed after the outbreak, Joe was smart enough to avoid it and make his way out of the city. Now Joe is somewhere in the outskirts of LA. He is alone, has no idea what to do next and wants to find his brother badly.

When Sophia sees blood she will stand still and tends to start shaking at the sight of blood.
Bio: Sophia was born on September 29th 1986 and was raised in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania with her sister, her mother was a nurse and her father was a bar owner, when she was six Katelyn was born both girls were treated both equally. As Sophia got into high school she eventually took acting classes having dreams of being in movies when she reached twenty Sophia decided to move out to LA, her sister Katelyn decided to go with her both of their parents agreed that they would let her stay with her in the summer then Katelyn would move back home for school.

Sophia had been in quiet a few movies from action, to romance to comedy, she was promoting her newest movie with her manager when the outbreak happened she was on her way back home halfway to her apartment her manager suddenly shoved her out of the car leaving her on the streets to fend for herself. Eventually Sophia made it to her apartment Katelyn had kept the door locked the whole time. They then quickly left the apartment Sophia managed to grab a crow bar on the way out and made it to Camp Pendleton.

Personality: Katelyn is usually a shy kind of girl when shes around newer people who she doesn't know, she is very close to her older sister Sophia, she tends to be a bookworm most of the time always reading something. However she will be very loyal to her friends or family who she is close to and tends to follow them around that's only when she knows someone really well.
Bio: Born on January 1st 1992 Katelyn was a healthy little girl until around the age of five is when she started getting asthma attacks, when she gets scared easily and always has to take an inhaler with her everywhere she goes. As she got older Katelyn started getting into books and would sometimes write her own books when she got bored, when her sister Sophia said she was moving to LA Katelyn followed her when her parents agreed to let her go only during the summer. Since then Katelyn had seen her sister's movies and gone to their premiers.
When the outbreak happened Katelyn was in her sister's apartment watching tv and reading a book, then the news came up and paid close attention to it and tried calling her sister but wasn't able to until she finally came home she then grabbed her medicine and food and clothes and they quickly fled the city.

HIs wife Tonie and he had met while they were in high school in Washington State later moving down to Los Angeles to his wife could pursue her dream of being a fashion designer. While there Tonie became pregnant and gave birth to their son Anthony who died during the initial outbreak.

Bio: A military brat, Alex was always moving from one Air Force base to another in wake of his parents, both officers. Never in one school for a long time, he felt the need to make his presence known, to be the best, to be remembered even after he left. A natural athlete, Alex chose to leave his mark in ice hockey. He was good, damn good, good enough to make his way onto the University of Idaho's varsity team. He distinguished himself further as a talented, if occasionally violent winger. Talent scouts swooped him up and brought him to LA. The life of a wealthy celebrity agreed with him, reinforcing his belief that the world owed him all this. Even after the outbreak and driving his Hummer down to Camp Pendleton he still felt confident that nothing could happen to him, he was a celebrity. Eating MREs and signing autographs for refugees was a bit of a lark for him, but his ivory tower can only stand so long.

Disability: Alex Culver's immense arrogance and overconfidence causes no ends of problems. He is stubborn and argumentative, as well as extremely sensitive to criticism. He has a tendency to rush headlong into things without a plan, often biting off more than he can chew.

Weapon of Choice: Alex still carries a steel and fiberglass hockey stick. Though lightweight, it's very hard- when swung by an athletic man like Alex it can definitely crack a skull.

Personality: Victor has never been much of a people person, and that only became worse after his accident. He's a bitter person, and can be very condescending when he talks to others. He has a certain way of going about things, and doesn't care if he offends someone in the process. For the most part he cares about doing the right thing. Doesn't mind listening to others, as long as they know what they're talking about and have something worthwhile to say.

Bio: Victor had a fairly normal life growing up, though he was never real close with his parents. His father encourage him to join the military, but it felt more like wanting to get Victor out of the house than wanting to see him succeed in life. Once in the army, he didn't have much contact with them. When his dad died, Victor and his mom started talking more often. But a year later she also passed away. By the time he was in his early thirties, Victor had become an accomplished soldier, earning multiple accolades and rising up the ranks.

His life was forever changed one day during a routine training exercise. Another soldier mishandled a grenade and Victor shoved a couple of his friends out of the way to protect them from the explosion, but it cost him his legs. Even though he was hailed as a hero, Victor became a very miserable person. Having always had a sharp mind, he was offered a job as a scientist, and that's what he's been doing for the past twenty years. Just as he was when he was a soldier, Victor excelled at being a scientist and rose up the ladder. He's spent the last couple years working in the secret weapons division, researching new weapons for possible use by the military. Despite still working for them, he holds a grudge against the army.
He was working in his lab when the outbreak happened, and he was quickly escorted to safety along with several of his colleagues. It wasn't easy, considering he's confined to a wheelchair. He's gotten by with help from others, but he despises needing to rely on someone other than himself.

Personality: Before the outbreak Otto was an outgoing and confident young man who seemingly always had a smile on his face and often made people think he could make light of any situation. He held a rare mix of intelligence and optimism, loving life and yet not being blind to it's many flaws. He tended to see the best in both people and circumstances; sometimes to the point of it being a flaw but he always insisted that an occasional let down was better than losing his faith in people.

After everything went down Otto lost the vast majority of his optimism and confidence, often doubting himself and what little remains of his life. He is still intelligent but he now tends to use his smarts to see the bad in the world and in people. He still hasn't truly wrapped his head around everything that happened and has developed an unhealthy wall between himself and his positive traits. Along with that Otto seems to have Survivors Syndrome and a lot of the symptoms that come with it. Depression, Nightmares and mood swings; the latter being something that is somewhat alien to Otto.

Biography: Otto was born and raised in The City of Angels. He had a very average life, having two parents and three older siblings. His family was middle class; his father being a teacher and his mother being a lawyer. He had a decent upbringing for the most part but wasn't a big fan of school growing up. He always hated learning from one specific viewpoint; much preferring to learn via books and such he bought himself. He always got good grades and rarely got into trouble at school but he never really loved it, much preferring to spend all his time elsewhere. For a little while in his early teen years he was a bit of a vandal, developing a love for graffiti that lasted a couple of years. It gave him the freedom and expression he craved whilst also being a great outlet for his seemingly massive amounts of energy.

It wasn't until he was sixteen that he found a more productive use of his energy in Krav Maga; a martial art he found through his girlfriend. It was pretty awesome; both learning the martial art and getting his ass kicked by his girlfriend every Wednesday and Saturday evening. Four years of lessons and love later and Otto had landed himself a job as a Martial Arts Instructor for teenagers. His parents had wanted him to go to college but he had refused point blank, the last thing he wanted was to get back into the schooling system right after getting out of it. He taught his class and began using the money to go on various trips. He enjoyed numerous skydiving and mountain climbing holidays with Abigail, his now girlfriend of four years. When the outbreak started Otto and Abigail were hiking in the hills outside of L.A.

By the time they got back to the city it had turned to hell. Otto went home to find his family dead, his mother and sister had seemingly reanimated and been shot and killed by his father whom had then hung himself. It was a hellish sight. Otto had taken his Glock from him and finished the job, not being able to leave his father hanging and turned. They then met up with his Abigail's family and escaped the city. Unfortunately things happened and Abigail ended up getting bitten. It was only on the hand, but from what they had all seen that was enough. Abigail and her father both had begged and later forced Otto to leave them. As far as Otto knows they are both now dead or reanimated, something that gives him regular nightmares. Otto lived and continued on to the camp but only a shadow of his former self survived, every other part of him being suppressed by darkness and depression.

Job Before The Outbreak: Krav Maga Instructor

Disability/Fear: Otto fears getting close to anyone, obviously an effect of having lost everyone recently. He is filled with self hatred and doubt and is unsure of who he is, having a very different idea of himself now after the unfolding of recent events. His outgoingness and confidence have turned into occasional aggressiveness and cynicism. His bravery has turned into recklessness and he has began to feel numb; all contributing factors to what may get him killed.

Her and her sister were on a road trip. visiting friends in LA when everything went down and they got seperated during all the chaos.
