If this is still open I'd love to join in
Name: Darren
Age: 16
Gender: Male
Apperance: He is 6'9" tall (while slouching, he's 7'2" while standing straight up) and he weighs nearly 400 pounds (125-150 pounds more than the ideal weight for a grown man that is 7' tall, I looked it up). He has short dark brown hair and green eyes. He usually wears jeans, sneakers and a striped hoodie (because he heard from a girl in Juvie that strips are "slimming")
Personality: Darren is not very bright to say the least, he was never very good at school. He was taught by his grandmother that he should never hurt another person, no matter what, and that he had to protect his sister and other women from harm (his grandmother was 93 and very old-fashioned). He doesn't like conflict and most attempts to force him into physical confrontation will usually end with him either retreating to his room, smashing through any locked doors in his way, or a massive bear-hug that usually disarms the other person, usually by asphyxiating the person until they are unconscious, at which point he lets go.
Animal: Grizzly Bear
Bio: Darren and his sister Liz were raised by their grandmother shortly after Liz's birth, four years after Darren's, because their parents decided that raising children was too difficult for them and took away from the other things they wanted to do in life. Darren was taught by his 93 year old grandmother, Beth, that hurting people was wrong and that, as her big brother, it was his job to watch over and protect his baby sister. Beth died eight years later at the age of 101 and Darren and Liz were sent to live with their only living relatives, their parents. Immediately after moving back in with their parents things went downhill. Darren's father abused he and his sister and Darren, adamantly sticking by the teachings of his late grandmother, tried his best to protect her without hurting his father, which usually resulted in worse punishment for him, but he didn't seem to care. This continued for several years until, shortly after his 16th birthday, Darren came home to his mother, sitting in her usual place in front of the TV while shouting came from his sister's room. The only shout Darren heard clearly were the words "I said take it off!" and he dropped his bag and burst into his sister's room, bringing the locked door off its hinges. Darren grabbed the nearest object he could find, an old desk lamp, and began to protect his sister in the one way he had left. The next thing he knew he was being wrestled to the ground by several police officers, the police report stated it had taken nine officers to pry this large sixteen year old boy off his father. At his trial his mother refused to let his sister testify on his behalf and instead testified against him, stating that Darren's now deceased father was scolding the girl for a fight at school. Darren was sentenced to life in prison, he would be sent to Juvenile Hall for the first two years of his sentence and then, on his 18th birthday, be sent to the state prison to serve the rest.
