(In order to avoid clutter, we can play multiple scenarios at once that will run concurrently. You may only be in one scenario at a time. If you wish to join another, have your character leave that scenario. Please think of realistic ways to be involved in a scenario. Now that that's over, have fun!)
In the midst of dark, dank alleyways and flickering lamplights, the man skuled around the corner stealthily and leapt up onto a rusting, metal dumpster. With nimble agility, he hoisted himself up onto the rooftop adjacent and crawled over it silently, his eyes sweeping the surroundings until they latched onto his prey.

Slim. Tall. And, oddly enough, donning a motorcycle helmet with a black, mirrored glass vizor. From his vantage point, he could see the grimy tarmac reflected on her headwear. He gripped the edge of the rooftop with both fingers and flattened himself against the corrugated metal, hardly daring to breathe. From this clandestine position, he was virtually invisible to all and completely invisible to one who had already obfuscated their sensory capacity with that ostensibly gaudy helmet.

The girl passed beneath him.

With unerring timing and precision, he launched himself off the rooftop and landed directly behind her on the tips of his toes. Raising his right hand into the air, he conjured an extension of his arm; a thick, baseball bat composed of a dark blue shade of ice.

"Pssst."

Before the girl could fully turn around, the man cracked the bat against her helmet and watched her crumple to the floor.

It was past curfew. Or at least that's what it seemed to be, because Ashlynn didn't wear a watch. Being out past curfew was a severely punishable offense, but only if you got caught; and besides, she needed to get out of the academic bastion of Prometheus Academy as it felt a bit too stuffy.

She was taking a shortcut to her motorcycle, which she rode on her way to Ceteris. She underestimated how fast the sun went down at this time of year, and now she was taking the most dangerous route to her vehicle- through narrow and dark alleyways.

Suddenly she heard someone whisper something behind her, and before she could turn around or react, blacked out.
She soon came to. Head aching and ears ringing, she woke up in an abandoned warehouse. It was dark, barely lit, and smelled like mold.

"Ew," Ashlynn said as she looked around, getting up and dusting herself off. Her eyes locked onto a group of 12, all cloaked.

"If you were looking for a good time, you sure picked the wrong girl," Ashlynn said coldly. She formed telekinetic blades on her arms, ready to rumble.

"Looks like we have a fighter, ladies and gentlemen." sneered the clear leader of a group; a behemoth man who looked to be around seven feet tall with an intimidating, muscular build.

The others laughed cruelly, eyes glinting with malice as they all stared her down with the air of a pack of starving wolves surrounding the last lamb on the planet. The leader vanished from sight and suddenly re-appeared in front of Ashlynn, swinging his arm through the air and catching Ashlynn clean in the jaw with a devastating hook. So brutal was the force behind the blow that she was lifted into the air and fell on her back.

"How disappointing. The one who brought us all together... so feeble." he whispered, advancing towards her.

In no time at all, the twelve men and women had surrounded Ashlynn and began to beat down on her mercilessly, punching, kicking and stomping on every inch of her broken body.

"Wait wha-"

Ashlynn wasn't able to complete her reply before getting hit in the jaw so suddenly. She fell on her back and the next wave of strikes began as suddenly as the first. She tried hard to form telekinetic armor around her body, but it never fully developed in time. The half-done armor was crushed into sparkling dust in no time at all; it was so brittle under their monstrous strength.

She yelled out in agony. The cries reverberated throughout the warehouse, but the only ones who heard it were her attackers.

After what seemed like an eternity, the vicious group of twelve finally relented. The leader straightened up and brushed the blood off his face, a thin smile curving his lips.
"If only she could see the irony." he said pensively. "This would almost amount to matricide."
"Mother, beaten to death by her own children!" came a cackle from the back of the group.
"When you put it like that, it almost makes me feel guilty. Put 'mother' out of her misery." said another, disengaging herself from the group and walking towards the exit.
"Already?" replied the leader, in a mock tone of surprise. "My inner sadist is not so easily pleased, Bastet."
The man reached down and wrapped a large hand around Ashlynn's blood-covered throat, his grip tightening as he felt his fingers slip in the scarlet liquid. With brute strength, he lifted her up into the air with one swift motion and continued to dog his fingers into her throat until he drew even more blood; Ashlynn's cries of pain had been replaced with a horrible, gurgling sound. The very last notes of one about to die.

A blast of dark flames emits from the man's hand holding onto Ashlynn, causing him to drop her. Dark is perched on a railing, whistling a tune as he stares at the 12 attackers.

"Unfair odds, and in the territory of the Guardians at that, you guys must have a death wish."

"Gotta stall, gotta stall."

I was out in the outer districts when I felt distress from when of nearby warehouses I focused and the area and saw what was going on. as soon as i get one moment to myself i started running almost sprinting with my minds eye focused on the scene,

I‘m almost there! C’mon dark stall a little longer

I had arrived I sprinted and hid behind the doors to see Ashlyn bleeding on the floor with dark perched on a railing. with a boy in the background standing and watching, hopefully he did not see me.Time to make my move. I added slight confusion to the group of men allowing me to move in silently. I hid in the darkest corner and moved in behind the men I nodded to dark giving him a mind message: “I’m here when you’re ready,But there are others.” I then waited for the signal

Jacob was walking away from a bar not too far off from the Academy, whistling to himself, when he noticed a guy jump from a dumpster up onto a rooftop. His eyes narrowed and his heart started beating a bit faster as he wondered what the hell this guy was doing. Deciding to follow, he silently climbed onto the dumpster, pulling himself onto the rooftop with ease. Silently watching, he pondered what exactly this guy was planning to do, when the other man dropped off the rooftop. Apparently, he'd found what he was looking for. Carefully moving from one edge of the rooftop to the other, Jacob heard a sickening cracking sound ring out. It wasn't the distinct crack of a breaking bone, but it was definitely more than enough to tell him something bad was about to happen, if it hadn't already. He carefully peaked down to see the man he was following joined be multiple others, standing over a girl with a motorcycle helmet.

Deciding not to intervene just yet as they carried the girl off, Jacob followed behind, making sure to hide himself well. Wouldn't do him any good to be caught now, would it? When they took the girl to an abandoned warehouse, a few unsavory memories returned to Jacob's mind. This was probably going to end badly, very badly. It was too organized to be a mugging or general thuggery. These people clearly planned this out beforehand. Soon enough, the girl got up, and said something to the dozen or so people surrounding her before producing a pair of telekinetic blades from her arms.

Ah, so that's what this was. Human-on-Wanderer violence. Makes sense. He was about to stop it then, but the hulking leader took a seemingly impossible leap forward, seeming to disappear for a moment, and landed a powerful hook on the girl, sending her crumpling to the floor. Damn, what the hell was that? A perception trick? He had to be a Wanderer too if that's what it was, but Jacob could probably counter it then. At the very least, it wouldn't work on him, as his mind was powerful enough to keep him protected from all but the absolute strongest mental assaults.

As the group started to pound on the girl, Jacob decided to still watch. He wanted to see how far they'd go with this, and he wasn't going to stop until he found out exactly what is was they wanted. Acting without proper intel had already cost him half his leg, his career, his friends, and the lives of three good soldiers. He wasn't going to make that mistake again. But all they wanted to do was kill her, it seemed. They called her 'mother.' What the hell did that mean? Well, it didn't matter, now was the time to act. One of them was choking the girl, a disgusting gurgling sound coming from her throat.

Just as he was about to move, a burst of darkish flame scorched the man's hand, making him drop the girl. This was the perfect time to reveal himself.

Taking off his jacket and tossing it to the floor, Jacob coughed into his elbow. His dog tags swung freely from his neck as he cracked it, a smirk crossing his face. "I would recommend not doing that, unless you want to see what hell is actually like. Didn't yer momma teach ya to treat ladies with respect, or was she too busy workin' the corners?" He took a fighting stance and slowly started probing the minds of the people around him, to get an idea of how they'd attack. He was always a cheater when it came to fighting, but if your life or health was at risk, why not use everything you could to your advantage?

"Either leave or kill them quickly!" hissed Bastet, her voice still echoing around the warehouse after she vanished from where she had been standing.
"It won't take much work to kill them, so we might as well." said the leader in an unnervingly blase manner. "Horus, stay here. The rest of you: go."
One by one, the rest of the group vanished as Bastet had until only two were left. The air in the warehouse seemed to turn unnaturally still and the tension was palpable; it was as if one spark would set the whole place on fire.
The leader propelled himself upwards and shot through the air effortlessly, colliding head-first with Dark's chest and knocking him backwards. He flew towards his opponent's rising body and grabbed him by the scruff of his shirt, whirling around and throwing him as hard as he could into the ground. Without a moment's hesitation, he dropped down from twenty metres in the air and landed on Dark's stomach with one knee; the concentrated force was enough to make Dark sit up and enabled the leader to smash his knuckles cruelly into Dark's forehead, sending his head bouncing to the floor.

Horus, a bored expression on his face, raised both of his hands in front of his face; two thick strands of ruby-red fire emerged from his hand and snaked around Jacob until they formed a massive and intricate web around him. Once Horus' fists closed, so did the flaming web.

Mable was simply walking back to the Academy, that evening. She had no watch on, no track of time, but judging by the way it was quickly darkening, she assumed it was around 8pm. The orange glow of the streetlamps reflected off her white hair and pale skin, and she pulled at her bodywarmer idly. She had the distinct fashion choice of someone spoilt rotten, and by the looks of her young age, she had the vulnerability to match...but, surprisingly, she wasn't the one in trouble.

Just as she was walking past the warehouses, she heard the screams. Distorted and agonizing, it sounded like a woman in trouble, echoing from the further reaches of the district, just swimming out of her hearing range...but the pitch-heavy silence and darkness sharpened the nosie enough for Mable to hear it. She also saw people closing in. "Ah yes, this is Guardian territory..." murmured Mable under her breath. She turned to walk away, but there was a hesitation, a pause. In hindsight, it was a vital pause - her sudden change of opinion most likely saved a life.

Mable approached the entrance to the warehouse and instantly wished she didn't. She saw them all, preparing to fight a measly 3 other people, and heard them approaching the exit - but for the briefest of moments, she also saw the blood. That's when she moved around the corner of the warehouse in a frightened sprint, her sneakers muffling the noise.

She waited for a few moments, counting the 10 who disappeared off into the night, and frowned. Perhaps the other two were detained by the Guardians? Mable didn't know, but she went to have a look anyways. What greeted her sight happened to be a bloodied, beaten woman with a throat wound that was bleeding out heavily onto the floor. Mable caught her breath in her own throat, trying not to vomit at the sight...but she couldn't figure out why the others weren't helping her. They were Guardians! This woman will die if she isn't seen to in the next 12 seconds - what were they up to?

Of course, there was a time and place for split-second decisions. Mable weighed up her options and assumed that the Guardians would protect her and this woman from their attackers, otherwise she was about to step into some very deep trouble indeed.

A bright white light blossomed around the dying figure of Ashlynn, streams of white light twirling into intricate stems - like a mix between a flower and a spider's web. These glowing fronds seeped into the weaker cuts and bruises, but most of them slid across her bloodied skin and poured into the holes in her throat, which were being covered by Mable's hands to stop any more blood from spurting out. She looked genuinely terrified - after all, she was quite young compared to the others, and this was one pretty dangerous wound she was healing. Not to mention that those attackers could land on her back at any time and probably rip her to shreds.

She looked Ashlynn in the eyes, watching her life slip away, and was so thoroughly determined to not let her die that she put her all into the healing. The only part she held back on were the bruises, focusing entirely on healing anything that was bleeding. She couldn't lose any more blood...

But on the other hand, Mable wasn't experienced and it was showing through quite clearly. Whilst she did have some intricate raw power which has clearly been tempered by lessons, without the refined addition of experience, Mable herself was burning through energy like tissue paper. One of the most likely people to be able to see this would be Jason, what with him being a Primary White Mage himself.

And so she sat, in the pool of concealing blood, getting her expensive bodywarmer utterly ruined. Mable was shaking, but not from the cold; her violet gaze swept across the warehouse, looking for anybody who could help Ashlynn - or, better yet, help herself. But finding no such support she continued on wearily, making it her duty to try to fix this woman's wounds and putting her trust into the Guardians.

"Who the fu--"

Before Dark could finish his question he's sent flying into the air. Gasping, he's suddenly hurtling towards the ground he lands and lets out a groan then a scream and spits up blood as the man digs his knee into him. Receiving the blow to his head, he begins to fade in and out of consciousness, he lets out a grin as he looks up at his attacker all three of them, swirling around him.

"Is......that.....all?"

Dark lets out a chuckle.

"B....Because you're in trouble if that, look up in the sky."

Multiple streams of flame burst into the night sky, as Dark had planned on summoning the Guardians and they replied back with their own signal of flames, the ground begins to shake, and the middle of the warehouse starts to erode and split open as sounds of multiple Guardians' voices fill the warehouse.

Zephyr was on his way back to the academy after going out to see a movie by himself. He often did this, he knew a few people but he didn't really have many close friends, despite being at the academy for a few years. He didn't mind though, he enjoyed being alone, although he didn't like being lonely, a lot of people couldn't make that distinction though. At any rate, at some point Zephyr must have missed the street he was supposed to turn on because he was lost with no clue where he was. Lucky for him though he saw fire being shot in the air not too far from his current location. Not sure what it was, he decided to go check it out. At the very least it meant there was people that might be able to help him.

When he got to the scene however he found a fight of sorts of going on. Quickly taking in his surroundings, he tried to find anything that could help out. Even though the attackers seemed to be in the minority, he had a strange feeling that the defending side was still at a disadvantage. He created a psionic kunai knife and threw it at one of the attackers, hoping a sneak attack would give him some edge since he was fairly certain they hadn't seen him yet.

Jade quietly made her way down a small alley that cut straight through the area, making it easier for students to get to the academy. She shivered slightly and quickly slid her black hoodie on, making sure to leave the hood on as well. For once, in her many years of living here, it was quiet. Probably because of the time it was, but it felt nice. All that she could hear was the dangling dog tags and her footsteps. At least that was all she could hear until the sound of faint, muffled voices echoed down the alley. Jade slowed down immediately and turned to look behind her before she looked ahead again. As she crept up the alley, the voices became clearer and louder. She shivered again but this time it wasn't because she was cold. Something was wrong and she knew it. She followed the voices and stopped only when she neared a warehouse type of building. "What the hell..." Jade muttered, an eyebrow lifting as she walked up to the building and entered it. Her eyes widened as she saw what was happening inside. She glanced over the girl that was on the ground but since there was someone already there, and helping, Jade looked pushed the thought aside and turned her attention to the flames above the attacker. She had an idea of what it meant but she didn't pay anymore attention to him because her focus was on the strands of flames that were wrapped around a young man. Jades mind raced as she began to look around. She stopped looking as she found what she needed. A sprinkler system. Old, but useful. She let her own mind reach out and with a flick of a finger, the water in the sprinkler came bursting out. Rather than falling as if it were rain, Jade formed it into a stream, waiting until it had enough water and then sent it flying towards the attacker and the flames. It wasn't strong enough to hurt him, she knew very well, but it was enough to put out the flames and cause a distraction so the guy who was getting choked could escape.

Horus swiped his hand nonchalantly through the air and redirected the water to hit the wall instead. With an excited grin, he formed an ice javelin in his arm and leapt high into the air, spinning with tremendous force and launching it straight at Jade's neck. The javelin rocketed through the air and pierced clean through her neck, impaling her and lifting her off her feet. The spear lodged itself into the wall with Jade's body hanging limply from it.

The kunai had bounced harmlessly off a telekinetic barrier that the leader erected around himself just in time. Snarling at the arrival of the Guardians, he grabbed Dark by his dreadlocks with a vice-like grip and pulled him in front of him, using him as a human shield.

"Take one more step forward and I'll slit this one's throat!" he warned the advancing Guardians, stopping them in their tracks. "You live, for now. But I'll be back for you." he whispered into Dark's ear menacingly.

He dug his fingers into Dark's shoulder and, with his other hand still curled up in Dark's hair, jerked his head to the left. With enough space to pursue sheer insanity, the leader swooped down and growled, sinking his teeth through Dark's cheek and tearing into skin and sinew, clamping his jaws in like a crazed pitbull, the salty, metallic taste of blood filling his mouth. Using the pressure in both hands, he violently jerked his head away and tore the flesh off Dark's face, much to Horus' amusement who laughed shrilly and sadistically.

The leader threw Dark down to the floor and spat the remnants of his cheek at him, wiping his blood-stained lips and admiring his handiwork as he looked down at the boy who was missing a quarter of his identity; his molars were visible through the side of his face.

He turned his attention back to the Guardians and spread his arms to the side in a quick and powerful movement, unleashing a guttural and ear-shattering roar as gusts of telekinetic energy swept from his body and tore the walls of the warehouse. Bolts and nails flew out of place as the structure folded in on itself and spun around the entire group like a metallic tornado, only stopping until every single piece was high in the air, directly above them.

In the blink of an eye, both of the attackers had vanished. Whilst the threat they posed had been vanquished, the other threat loomed over them loftily as thousands of tons of compressed steel began to rain down towards those who were left standing in the warehouse's shadow.

A dome emerges from the ground and covers what once was the warehouse sounds of debris falling on top of roof can be heard for a few minutes once it seems that it settles the ground opens up and squad of 15 Guardian members emerge from the rift. A tall man with slick black hair, wearing black cargo pants, a white muscle shirt, with a pendant shaped as a copperhead lands is the first to enter the remains of the warehouse.

"Nobody move!" He bellows out as remainder of his squad land. Quickly he makes his way toward Dark and he has squad split into three separate groups. A white mage in each one attending the other Wanderers, he kneels down to Dark who is thrashing about, cuffing his cheek as his blood seeps through his hands and onto the floor.

"Shhhhh, shhh hold still Dark we're here. We're here you did good bro, a little too close to comfort but you did good."

Dark tries to speak but moving his mouth even the slightest is too much of a task. He finally relaxes as the warmth of the white magic begins to heal his wound. He stops her before they seal it up completely, having a circle on his cheek imprinted with teeth marks.

"I'll keep it like this as a reminder of that maniac. How is the girl?" Dark points over at Jade who is being carefully examined and healed.

"Never mind her Dark, what can you tell us about these guys?"

"They prefer dark meat, what the fuck do you think? I got distracted and they immediately jumped me."

Snake nods and gives Dark a nice pat on his cheek and a harder slap causing Dark to wince. "Well that's it for now, I want everyone out here and back home where they belong. You got that?" He announces to remaining Wanderers, staring at the now restored Jade, then over to Mable, Ashlynn, Zephyr, and Leo.

As a web of fire surrounded him, Jacob braced himself, took a leap forward and jumped through it, towards the attacker, before it fully closed. When he was on the other side, bits of his flesh were seared and most of his hair was singed. Covering himself with healing energy, he made a few steps towards the fire-wielder and took a swing.

As he did, however, he noticed the man make a grand leap and spin, tossing a javelin of ice into one of the many others who had suddenly entered the warehouse and joined the fight. Torn between helping the girl and continuing the fight, Jacob's choice was forced when the remaining two disappeared, seemingly in the blink of an eye. Replacing them was a torrent of metallic death falling from above. With little other choice, Jacob ran towards the girl, shielding his head and hoping whatever injuries he sustained would be manageable until he took care of the serious problem in front of him.

Just who were these people?! Grunting and shaking his head, he made his way over to the wounded girl, whose throat was pierced by the massive shard of ice.

"Don't you worry, don't you worry, I've gotcha. This is gonna hurt, but you hafta tough it out, alright?" Grabbing the ice, Jacob snapped it at a thin portion near her neck, dragging the girl's unconscious body off the wall as he pulled the remaining bit of the javelin free. Sighing, he jerked the last bit of it out of her throat, a current of blood following after it. Instantly, tendrils of white energy made their way from Jason's body to hers, repairing the wound as best he could manage. The damage was extraordinary, but it was a relatively clean blow. Nothing like a bullet, which had the tendency to tumble and shred up a person's insides if it didn't have enough velocity to go out the other side.

Meanwhile, he looked around, noticing that some others, including at least one of the Guardians who ad joined the fray, were also injured, and a young girl was treating the first girl who had been attacked. He recognized her, actually, Mable. She had potential and raw power, but lacked experience, not unlike himself. Jacob had some experience, but he was almost completely self-taught until recently.

I exit the dark corner and rushed over to Ashlyn and Mable. I checked up on Ashlyn, I knew a few basic things like pulse Ect but she seemed okay it looked like Mable had healed most of her. I summon Aeka I then ask her to give her a bit of extra strength by merging with Ashlyn I think it works when Ashlyn opens her eyes with a gasp of air. I Sat next to her and said softly: “Ashlyn you’ve been hit pretty hard but we’re going to take you back to the academy now You’ll be safe there.”
I've never been very good at people skills

I then turned to mable, I knew first-hand what a power drain can feel like Going over to her I checked she was alright. I had watched the whole thing go down and didn’t do a thing I guess I just didn’t want to use my powers. But I could’ve helped her she looked about my age and had my experience by the looks of things.“C’mon Mable wake up C’mon your just drained, you’ll be fine in a couple of hours”
As I was saying this I saw her open her eyes.
“That’s, good your safe now. I’m Leo from the academy you might have seen me around, I thought what you did was extremely brave.” I offer my hand to her “When you’re ready we have to make our way back to the academy.”

Ashlynn, with an empty gaze, blinked at Leo. She was not in the mood to talk, let alone be talked to as if she was some child refugee. She looked around her surroundings, first noticing Mable and her blood-soaked clothes, and dusted herself off after she got up.

She picked up her now-battered helmet off the ground and made her way closer to the entrance of the now-destroyed warehouse after nodding to the Guardian's White Mages as a form of silent thank you.

What the hell was THAT about? And what's with them calling me mother..?, Ashlynn thought as she walked.

Jades eyes widened while she watched in horror as the ice javelin came hurtling towards her faster than she could react. Without having time to even scream, the ice reached her, sending her into unconsciousness immediately. At the same time everything went black, she jerked awake with a frantic gasp for air. Her hands instinctively went for her neck and her eyes opened but saw nothing, too in shock to comprehend what had happened.

When she felt nothing was wrong with her neck, she began to calm down and actually focus in her surroundings. Her eyes darted from person to person, pushing herself up in half a second to see what was happening. Although she was light-headed, she stood up and took a few steps back, looking down at her ruined hoodie. She made a face seeing the blood on it and looked down at the floor where she had apparently been laying, blood staining the ground as well

Looking back up, she quietly thanked those who helped her, a hand still on her neck, part of herself still being in shock. "Is everyone okay?" Her voice was shaky, but she still spoke loudly and clearly, even though she was upset that she had been more of a liability rather than an asset. She shrugged off her hoodie as she made her way towards the others, just to make sure before she decided to head out.

"You're asking if people are okay? You're the one who was impaled, are you okay?" Zephyr couldn't believe she was worrying about other people, he actually kind of admired her for that. He gave a nod to the guy who told them to go home just to let him know he heard. Zephyr couldn't believe what happened, he'd never seen anyone as powerful as who they just fought. Their attacks were shrugged off, and he wasn't sure what to think of that. Looking back at the girl, he thought she looked familiar, like he'd seen her before. "Hey, do you go to the academy? Sorry, I'm sure I've seen you there before, I just don't get out much."
